Plenty of big scores this week. Pendles bloody hell he’s a joy to watch when he’s on.
Mundy awesome on debut, although Brandon Ellis was a bit underwhelming.
Now praying that Maric doesn’t get suspended, 6 trades left…

  2. 2103 / Goldstein / was 6600, hoping for top 5000

For about the third time this year, I got what I considered to be a decent score and still got my butt kicked in the H2H. These SCT leagues are hard!
Heroes: Pendles, Goldy, Gray, Priddis and the Krak. 12 tons, first time I’ve ever managed this
    Duds: Gibson, Dahlhaus, Ebert, Hibberd.
On a side note, huge respect to everyone involved in the game – administrators, fans, and clubs – for their efforts this weekend.

Rage trade time – I have a few days to recover and hit the reverse button. Having so many premiums from the cats and crows an unfortunate circumstance (how do other players not have either teams players in their side?). RIP Phil – a tragedy that will be felt by many for years to come.

Started strong and ended horribly, Goddard, Dahlhaus (who seems to be carrying a leg injury) and Gibson killed me – having Danger and Selwood miss didn’t help matters either. Had Pendles as VC and switched to Parker 5 mins before bounce.

Moving on to next week! Will prob drop a hundred or so in rankings I’d say..

Bye rounds weren’t kind to me and I dropped 4000 odd so I hope to get a little back this week. But yeah, pretty happy with this week. Glad Rance and JPK delivered as new additions, not so happy with Goddard, at all.

Very happy with the week’s score. Leuemberger did well on debut (for TBC) with 101. May sit him at R3 for the rest of the year. With Jacobs having the bye I wanted the 22nd scoring option & nearly went Gawn or McKernan for DPP link, but Berger at 232K & 2 games as main Ruck & coming off 89 will hopefully provide decent cover.
Would love to move up a few places from 50th o/a & with a good few trades it would be great to have a late good run.

Thought I would move up the ranks, but a shocking round from my forwards stopped that quickly.
10/10 league wins and SC Cup win.
Top 5 on field: Pendlebury, Goldstein, Kennedy, Grey, Martin.
Bottom 5 on field: Goddard*, Birchall*, Dalhaus*, Steele, Hibbard.

Wasn’t expecting a massive week after missing out on all the Sydney midfielder scores on Thursday night. Unfortunately bowed out of the SC Cup with a narrow 34 point loss, which Zorko tried ever so hard to peg back with his 124.

    Onto next week!

Some monster scores from Pendles and Goldy leveled out by some bricks from McDonald and Dahlhaus. Time to start building the Ablett warchest.

  10. 2113/Goldi/8495 which is pleasing from where I have been – up 1500 spots

Narrow losses in both LoEC1 and Tech 3 – sure could have used Danger, Selwood, Taylor, Blitz, Scotty Thompson and Lever and potentially a big score.

Picked up 11 big tons and tossed out a couple of 50s from rookies, (but can’t blame them as they should not have been there), plus dud scores from McLovin and Birchall.

Hannebery on debut played very well, along with big scores from Goldy, JPK and Pendles. My backline still underperforming with poor scores from Gibson, Yeo and Oxley. Lucky to win all of my league matches and sitting 2nd by a game in LoEC1.

Ouch. What a shocker, had Floggard, Tmac, Pearce, Floggard, Hamling, Cripps, Fyfe (C), Dumont, Floggard and Dahlhaus. Oh and did I mention Floggard? Disgusting, have to say mind was a bit off SC this weekend. Always next week!

Playing for cash league and I had the bye this round (one of our mates dropped out a while back and hasn’t updated his team) so I basically tanked this round to give me an extra week to look at Steele and make a decision on Sloane. Fielded a donut and four rookies, and had to take 2 of them thanks to a stinker from Goddard. Also forgot to loophole and ended with Fyfe as C. Ouch!

The following can be classified as a first world problem 😉

I thought the Thursday night game started at 7.50pm AEST. I needed to run some errands at the time (given time difference here in Germany) but thought I’d still have ample time between teams being named and the start of the Round. Got home just in time to see the proper start time of 7.20pm (but seriously, the Melb games start at 7.50, why then 7.20 in Sydney?) and the teams list on SCT. Had a moment of panic when I saw that Docherty hadn’t come up and managed to hit the reverse trades button just before the Thursday game started. Problem was it reverted back to the RD13 starting line up which left Wines and Gray on the bench. Luckily Gray had the E on him and Franklin was still on the ground so I grabbed that 123. Not so lucky with Wines, so I had to field Steele, a loss of 27 pts.
Then for some reason, I went with a gut feeling that Dusty would have a bigger game than Pendles, so I moved the VC off Pendles. After Dusty’s 113, I left the C with Fyfe, a loss of 95 pts. May not seem like much but that combined loss of 122 pts would’ve put me around 750-800 overall, such is the even competition we play in. I’ll have to be a little better prepared next time.
Having said all that, managed to win all league games and snuck up 96 places overall so can’t be too upset. And so the game continues……….

Could have been better but shouldn’t complain. Newnes and Kolodjashnij are starting to look like keepers.

Pretty happy with my team although a few players still a bit suspect, i.e. Selwood, Bont.

I had enough big scores and players playing that my shock bad scores were not counted. Won all 10 matches, so yay. Moved up in rank again. My hopes of making the top 5000 are alive, and I have vague hopes of top 1k, although I think that is unlikely.

Kennedy for Sloane worked out well. My only premo on the bench was Selwood, which I am sure was a big help

Pretty solid week, and happy to move up about 300 places.

What was going on with Goddard – he is usually so consistent. Those bombers looked awful though.

Glad to see Woosh going to the Crows to help out. I’m sure that Walshy would have approved of this.

My team seemed to score either brilliantly or terribly. Not many average scores. Move about 30 places up, so thankfully didn’t loose any ground. I was mostly out of mobile reception from Saturday midday to Sunday night so had to cross my fingers I’d picked the right rookies to field. I did not.

No trades for a while now, barring injuries. If Maric is suspended for a week for his stray elbow, I have McKernan to fill his spot. He did well this week filling Buddy’s spot with a 91. Even though I’m low on trades, I’m happy with that one and it’s already proven handy.

Really hoping to make it into the top 5000 for the first time this year. Been careful not to burn trades. This site has been very helpful, thanks guys.

  21. How did fyfe as captain score 89? As captain it should be a multiple of 2. Wtf is going on supercoach?

did they not apply the double score on him.

Dropped about 500 places this week. Lost to schwartzwalder by 16 after Grundy pulled a late out and i didn’t know due to work. Could still have salvaged the win if Steele was on field not Boston.

Probably bailed out a bit by the best 18 though so can’t complain.

Buddy and Danger make welcome returns.
