    1. Well done Motts!! Fantastic score. Top 10 / 20 for you will look very good…. Hope your mate Al from Supercoach gets onto you for an interview in the paper.

  1. 2335 / R. Gray

Some great contribution from the Weitering, Dea’s & Adams. Top scores from Goldy, Gawn & Danger. Hall & Parker also good.
Paply & JJ not great on debut for me, but both will hopefully do well.
Hope to move up from 3000’s to within reaching distance of 1000 & set me on the road to the top 100.

Very happy with all of my promo’s hitting the ton (or very close). Rookies were down a little this week but you can’t complain about their starts to the season.

When Sidebottom comes back next week, I’ll be up and firing!

A full 300 points better than last week. Cost myself another 60 by not setting Danger to captain today, and hopefully Crouch is back next week so I can bench a few dodgy rookies, but won all 6 league games so pretty happy this week. Fyfe and Parker on the want list this week.

  4. 2383 / Danger. Pretty happy. Could have been better if I was paying attention and notice Lonergan wasn’t playing for Geelong.

After a slow first two rounds, things are really starting to fire up ! Greene down again this week my only real concern, just can’t get consistency from him. All rookies bringing in the dosh for this week so I’m happy with their scores.

Good enough score seeing as I kept Rocky. Time to repay the faith now Tom.
Papley and JJ on debut okay, other rookies doing their job, just need to get the bench right.
    Special mention Goldy, Danger, Weitering.

Big scores around by the looks of things, well done SCT players.

  7. 2385 solid score considering 5 scores 65 or under

    3/5 league wins .

Gawn took my advice last week to lift and I couldn’t be happier with the big man

Hoping to move up from current position of 4,197

finally they all fired. Mills, Kerridge and Kennedy only disappointments. But they’re only rookies so can’t complain.

Didn’t see the game, can anyone tell me if Robinson will be in trouble?

  9. 2,500/Fyfe

Things finally went right for Mumma’s Bois and what better time for Rd1 of leagues. Took out all 4 matchups.

Stars: Dea, Hall, Shaw, Weitering, Gawn, Oliver, Goldstein, Adams, Dangerfield, Selwood, Bartel, Robinson

Serviceable: Ablett, Laird, Fyfe, Barlow, Wells,

Villians: Mills, Papley, Kerridge, Kennedy, Liberatore

Papley and Liberatore came into my team this week and a little disappointed with their scores. Especially when I was tossing up between Gray/Parker/Liberatore for Rockliff and went for the cash grab of LIbba.

Was ranked 39,000 before this round and I should hopefully be catapulted up quite nicely.

  10. 2339/Gaz

Greene is a bit of a headache and a couple of smaller rookie scores than the last 2 weeks but my big guns were mostly firing. Reasonably happy but seeing other scores it seems I might not gain many places!

  11. 2347/Gazza had Danger locked in as captain but changed at the last minute.
Parker and Hall on Debut were sensational Shaw and Montagna hit some form Weidering, Adams and Dea were my only rookies to perform..Hewitts 19 on the field the biggest let down. Not looking at any trades this week.

    1. great score Dazz! Oops, maybe a little my bad, I did tell you I was locking in Gazz as well and swapping from danger … still, only 35 more points … would have got me to 2400 though!

      1. Ha ha yeah thanx Macca
I took your point on board mate but I also remember being in a similar situation last year and rolling the dice on a Sunday captain and it cost me big time. Still pretty happy with my score.

Staggered by how badly I’m travelling. Worst start to a season in five years. Patience and good trading/planning the key now.

Another solid effort from the TEAM! Really happy how this experiment has started. Well done, Coaches!

Fairly crap in a high scoring week. Bloody Mckenzie and his 4 stunk it up with a host of others. Goldy, Gawn and Danger really saved me from the Abyss!

  14. 2309/ sir Dangerfield

Highest score of the year so far

Heroes: DANGERFIELD, Weitering, Gawn, Shaw, SMartin, Hall

Got majority of the rookies right

Anyone got any news on Dylan Shiel & the back pain he had

Was let down by Davis being on the ground, but my stupid fault for picking Gresham in the first place!

  16. 2643 went absolutely massive, over the moon with everything. Huge fluke and will probably never do it again.

    Hoping for the $$$

  17. 2,282/Ablett

Sticking with Ablett cost me 31 and a league tie. Hewitt 19 instead of Crouch and Wingard off forAMT also cost me dearly. Could’ve / Would’ve been 2,400+ on these 3 issues.Would’ves, Could’ves, Should’ves get us nowhere.

Delighted with this week. Debated all week whether to cut ties with duncan after being mummified last week.
He came good as did barlow. Parker good on debut.

  19. whew … can’t keep posting congrats on all the huge scores … there’s some great scores out there!! Well done to all … very impressive.

    2363 / GAJ vc loop …

Can’t complain about anything really … Libba and Kennedy disappointing (compared to their first two weeks) and I missed out on Papley … maybe regretting going Simpson over Houli a little too at this early stage, so hats off to Mottsy taking Houli!

  20. 2313/Ablett was very happy with that after copping new recruit papley, mills, hewett along with kerridge yesterday.
Cudos to Gawn, danger, docherty (thanks Motts for your advice in getting him this year) weitering and hall

  21. 2308 danger as cap. would have scored bigger if I didn’t have weitering on the bench and he scores 129. had hearty that wont happen again so won 2 out of 3 games. don’t know where I will be ranked know. also this is not supercoach related but I play afl fantasy as well and ranked 3165 never ever been this high

  22. Very poor week. 2187.
Failures included Mills, Papley, Kerridge, Kennedy, Menadue, Liberatore.

Still, the rookies won’t go huge every week.

Trades in of JJ and Zaha were a mixed bag, short term points loss over hanging on to Barlow or trading in Gaz for substantial gain in cash long term.

Gawn without a doubt this week’s star, although Parker continues to shine and both Robbo and Shaw’s revival was greatly appreciated.

Weitering on the bench probably cost me a few wins though.

Thanks to SCT cracking site, great source of info for us over in the UK as difficult to watch games

    Main concern is Greene

  24. 2335/Looped Gaz, had Danger but opted for the safe option. Still think in the early stages you have to take 135 if looped, only chase scores later in the year if you are trying to get in the finals.

Goldi, Gawn, Danger, Heater, Hall and Parker on Debut. 6 scores under 70 plus Lonegan and Dusty below par. Tough game – moved backwards 212 spots to 2819.

  25. 2318 / Parker / 4823rd

Motts was a well deserved winner in the Opening Round encounter in the SCT Writers League. So stoked to see Mottsy in the top 20 overall, that I’m glad he gave me a dust up to get there.

Special mentions to Goldy and Gawn sharing 172s in the same game. I didn’t think that was possible, but it just happened and I was fortunate enough to have both. And Barlow.. Thank you!

    The Heros
Shaw, Weitering (seriously how good is this guy!!), Danger, Ablett, Parker, Priddis, Goldy!! Nic Nat, Hall and a special mention to Barlow for almost hitting the ton!

    The villains
Myself for playing Hewitt over Oliver and costing me 4/5 league wins.
On the block? I’d love to grab Hartley but don’t have anyone ready to cull yet. Fyfe hasn’t dropped as much as I’d have liked, although if Crouch doesn’t come good I’ll think of the Zorko trade!

Was away on a work “fishing” trip all weekend so barely checked my team.
Happy with how the team is traveling despite my neglect.

  28. 2224 / R Gray/ 53408

    Finally a decent captain’s score.

Last week Duncan, this week Trent McKenzie. Argh.

A lot of collective underscoring this week, but nowhere near as far off the pace as last week. Only used 1 trade so far, and the trades I did not make would have all been bad, so at least happy to have been careful with those.

Waiting for cow growth and upgrading. At least am well set up for that. Rather hopeful that under-performers will step it up, but not more than hopeful.
