Did you tear Round 2 a new one, or is it back to the drawing board? No doubt you’re already keen to itch that trigger finger and get a few rage trades in, but first thing’s first: How did your boys perform this week?

  1. 2,165/Dangerfield

Not happy nor overly disappointed with my score this week. Danger as C definitely hurt. Rockliff and Barlow my main concerns for this week with Shaw a bit disappointing. Papley looks to make a ton of cash next week, so it’s even tempting to bring him in for Barlow, otherwise Gresham/Dunkley. Too many decisions to make this week !

  2. 2338/Dangerfield

Gibson, Fyfe, Adams, Dusty, Laird, Hall, Wells, Gazza, Libba, Stef Martin, Kerridge, B Kennedy & Wines all raised the bat…but Gibbo you’re a star!!!!

Disappointments Papley on the bench (109)….,Barlow (again), H Shaw (again), Rocky (injured), NicNat (you’re excused because of r1) & Dangerfield as (C)

Could of been massive this week for Catta’s Clan, but it is what it is….bring on next week 🙂

  3. Sunday carnage! – 2089

Shit list – Rocky. Barlow, Danger, Shaw, Priddis, Bartel, Hewitt, Mills, Dunkley and that flog Sidebottom for throwing a stupid bump rd1

Guns – Dusty, JJ, Kennidy, wells, Adams, Libba, Hall, Gaz, Kerridge and Papley on the bench.

Hopefully still top 1k… but don’t think so.

Today was pretty much my worst ever in SC. Will try to pick up the pieces tomorrow, team needs a lot of work!

Not the happiest with the score considering at a point I was projected with 2365.
Bit of a concern/positive is that some of my rookies are outscoring my prems.
Heroes: D.Martin, M. Adams, Fyfe, Laird, Wells and Libba
Villans: Rocky, Danger, Priddis, Barlow, Shaw and Lonergan
On The Chopping Block: Barlow and Rocky

Wondering if the cash for Oliver and Mills is worth it. Might try to dump both and get A.Hall in somehow.

Happy I held off and kept Sidebum on the bench.

Guns- Dusty, Laird, B Kennedy, Wells, Adams, Libba, Fyfe, Hall, GAJ, Kerridge

Duds- Heath Shaw, Rocky, Barlow, Lonergan

Sunday killed my score could of been a lot bigger but could of also been worse.

With only 8 players hitting the ton I guess that’s the best I could hope for. Too many underperforming stars this week. Just hoping I cling onto a top 1000 rank…not liking my chances

Let downs were Danger,Rockliff,Barlow,Lonnergan and Shaw
And should’ve had Papley on the ground instead of Mennadue.

  10. 2229/Zorko.

    40, 48, 48, 55, 60, 61, 67, 70…

I only wish my rookies had a better weekend, but I can forgive them THIS JOKE IS OVER. Those scores were, in order, Yeo, Rockliff, Hewett, Sheridan, Barlow, Bartel, Lonergan and Selwood. I can forgive Sheridan because he was hurt during the match, and Hewett is a rookie, but everyone else…

Papley scored 109 on the bench; my other on field rookies managed 84, 86, 106 and 135 – honour on their houses, honour on their cows.

Shoutouts to Fyfe, GAJ, Libba, Smartin, Hall, Pendles, Sinclair and of course, Captain Fantastic, Dayne Zorko the Magnificent.

Much better than the shmozzle of last week. Couple things went my way this week like taking Gaz over Danger for C.
Also pretty happy I took Parish over Oliver on a gut feel at the last minute prior to the season starting.
Gotta sort Barlow, Rocky this week.
Also, it feels like rucks are finding it harder to score this year? Glad I didn’t end up going with Goldy, but still aim to get him in at some stage.

  12. 2212 / Chopsticks

Glad I threw the VC on Dusty at the last minute as it was probably the saving move of my SC weekend. Barlow, Rocky, Viney, Shaw, Danger all underperforming. Thankfully Greene pulled off a big game and Hanners will hopefully provide some stability. Looking at some of the other scores, I’ve done a little better this week than last, which is a relief.

  13. 2231/Danger

Had the C on Fyfe last week, so that’s 2 sub-80 captains in a row.
With Rocky and Barlow included in that score, I guess in the end I can’t complain…. Might be time to think about a couple of corrective trades though

    Very ordinary score!!!
    Had Adams on the bench
Rockliff, Barlow, SGray, Gresham & shaw all annoying

Looking at trading rocky & Barlow

  15. 2240 / Danger

Sinclair saved himself with a fantastic score this afternoon.

Think I’ve got all the must have rookies but I’ll double check.

My leadership group (Fyfe, Ablett, Dangerfield) are meeting tomorrow morning to determine Barlow and Rockliff’s future in the team.

Scraped in this week okay after having fyfe as captain last week. Adams on bench. Jacobs and Sloan just average again but might be time to go Rocky and Barlow this week…

Not a bad week at all, plenty off special mentions but none more so than the great Josh Gibson, hopefully with climb up the rankings a fair bit this week

  18. 2301 Despite Danger (c), Rockliff and Barlow.

Rocky and Barlow have been reported by the MRP for being seriously crap and face an extended spell on the sidelines.

Heath Shaw is also on report, with the committee meeting next week to determine his future.

Tech Team 2209 – too bust with work to pull my planned trades.

So no trades from either side yet, so scores are pretty good considering my trade position.

Not the best week with Danger, Bartel, Barlow and Z Smith the main culprits.

Who do you guys think is the best option for Barlow?

  20. 2221 was very lucky.
On the chopping block, Rocky and myself.
The assistant coach might be promoted if i keep stuffing up the bench and captains 🙁

  21. Wow, felt alright with a score of 2162 but you guys on here have really nailed some nice scores!

Starting to get a bit concerned with some of my team notably: Barlow, Rockliff, S. Gray, J Lonergan, Gresham and Dunkley.

Gresham and Dunkley are actually some of my larger concerns – if these guys don’t score anything decent, theres no cash generation coming from the midfield! Are there any other midfield rookies that I should get now? (have Davis and Mills)

  22. 2205 / Danger

Ugly finish after Rocky & Danger let me down. After 2289 last week i would taken close to 2250 average for Rnd 1 & 2 so not the end of the world.
How long is Rocky likely to be out for? Barlow going to be an interesting one, if…, big IF, he moves into the mid’s for Freo then he would be a huge POD, however as he would be down to 420K most would just back on him.

Man whoever I chose for capt next week do the opposite!!!
Fyfe as vc but only loopholes had both played in the Ess/Dee’s game.
    Arn the DONS!!!!

  24. 2239 / Fyfe / 4,091st

Nailing the captain pick helped a lot. Fyfe doesn’t have many back to back bad weeks, so I handed him the skipper duties with confidence.

The ballsy backline of Rich, Sheridan and Lonergan flopped this week after being very solid in R1.

Rocky and Danger had very quiet games, while Fyfe, Parker, Wines, Libba and Shiel all played pretty well. B.Crouch’s 83 was ok for his price. He’ll still make dollars.

I expected more from Goldy and Gawn, but can’t be too hard on the big men.

Barlow needs to lift, and I expect he will. Martin, Papley, Kerridge, Wells and Hall all tonned up in the forward line.

Ranking in the top 5k after two weeks is a good platform for the rest of the season, but the boys will have to play out of their skins next week to beat Motts in a huge Opening Round fixture.

  25. 2250 – Ablett
Barlow, Rocky and Mitch Duncan all underperformed so the score could have been a lot better but for week 2 I will take it.

  26. 2267/Gawn into Gaz

Projected in the 24s until Barlow, Lonergan, Danger & Heater decided to tank!!
Still after 2258 last week I’m like Andy B and would’ve gladly taken a 2260 ave after round 2.

Eleven tons (Fyfe, Dusty, Laird, Hall, JJ, Wells, Gaz, Libba, Kerridge and B Ken).
Gotta sort out a couple of under performing rooks in Dunkley/Gresham otherwise reasonably happy.

2317/ Dusty Tech league – one trade Adams for Grimley via AMT proved good.

  27. 2247/Dusty

Disappointed with Barlow & Rocky, and I keep getting my on field rookies wrong!
Happy with taking Dusty’s VC score over risking Danger

THE TEAM@SCT1 stepped up another notch to #12 – well done everyone

Was initially disappointed with my decision to captain goldy as danger was my second choice, barlow and rocky the obvious disappointments .

Much better than 2024 last week. Moved up 30k in the rankings. Still early, not panicking.

    2269 / Dusty / 3091st
The TEAM is already moving up in the rankings. Didn’t use any trades yet, we are sitting pretty. I’m predicting big things for this TEAM. Well done, Coaches!

  30. 1973 / Dangerfield / 54898

Pendles as captain last week, Danger this week.

Duncan getting hurt and scoring 25, not good, thank you sooooo much Mr. Mumford. I hoep the MRP gives you a nice vacation. A lot of players had shockingly bad scores, usually in games where their teams spudded it up. Not happy at all.

I’ll be sure to warn you all of my captain’s plans next week so you know who to avoid!

  31. 2223/ Fyfe

Held firm with Fyfe and was happily rewarded.

Except Libba, mid-pricers killing me. I should know better!! Barlow gonski and Rocky probably too for Hall and GAJ.
