  1. I had an absolute shocker only just cracked the 2k mark with 2019/Selwood/i dont want to know

Goldy, Stewart, O’meara, JJK were the ones that really let me down and then the fact almost every rookie on the bench outscored the ones i put on the field. I am going to forget about this week and look at all the money that came in instead or just laugh at Hawthorn for that loss to Gold Coast

Alright I guess, had quite a few under performers though (JOM, Shaw, JJK, Laird). Also a lot of my on-field rookies spudded it up (SPP, Marchbank, Taranto, McGrath)

  3. 2249/Danger

Very happy with that given the # of spuds I had on the field. Disappointed with new recruit Marchbank and another underwhelming week from Parker, Shaw & Laird.

Danger, Dahlhaus and the two Martin’s (not Jack) were superb.

    1. Marchbank relies on his intercept marking and ball movement around the back line.

Very hard to do that with the weather the way it was on Sunday.

He should still score well when its not pisssing down.

Very happy with that. N. Roo and Danger are wonderful! O’Meara was disappointing.

Should move up nicely in the rankings (I hope).

Poultry week with T.Stewart, JOM,Laird & Gawn letting me down.
I think Gawn > Martin for me this week

O’Meara was really the only let down.Would’ve scored an extra 60 odd points if I had’ve made the Murphy/WHE trade but Butler and Houston were very serviceable.Murphy’s back to his best will be a top 10 mid by years end IMHO. Not concerned with O’Meara’s out put he’ll put it together in the next couple of weeks.

  7. 2348/Danger/Was 9300, should improve on that.

    JOM the only real disappointment.

Plus my Blues beat the Bombers, Hawks got smashed and all is right in the world!
Need to get 2 of Dusty, Bont and probably Murph the way he’s going. Great weekend!!

Overall pretty happy, won 5/6 league games. Having Stewart’s 22 on the field instead of Hampton’s 84 cost me the other one. Disappointed with JOM, SPP & Marchbank, but no complaints with tons from my 2 rucks of Sandi & Witts, so avoided the carnage of Gawn & Goldy. Still undecided on my final decision of holding Taranto and not trading in WHE.

  9. My tech league team outscored my regular team by over 100 points. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Newman in for one of my spud rookies, and Gawn will probably have to go this week. My rucks combo 5 mins before Rd 1 lockout was Grundy-Sandilands-Witts *sigh*

  10. 2075 / Gawn 🙁

I would have had a really good score this week if I had any other ruckman and had the C on Danger.

In all seriousness you can’t predict injuries and I don’t think putting the C on Gawn was a terrible decision to make saturday morning.

Trading in Newman this week over Marchbank was a huge risk that paid off. Having Florent and Taranto on field over Parfit and Butler wasn’t great.

Looking forward to all the Gawn discussion this week.

    Super stoked with this score!!!!!

    Highs:
    – 13 tons
    – NRoo is the obvious highlight this week plus the correctional trade of JMac into Adams
    – SandiWitts ruck combo with Nank/Strnadica DPP is working brilliantly

    Lows: JOM (44), SPP (51), Marchbank (56)

Look fwd to seeing where this places me this week.

Impressed with the balls of your ruck combo – really coming up huge now that Gawn has gone down.

Shocking week with Gawn, taranto, JOM, Marchbank, powell-pepper all letting me down. Franklin and Laird also had a down week.

An ordinary score with a few speculative picks not quite there. However, I managed to sneak a win over MJ in LoEC2. It is not everyday that you get a win against a supercoach legend. I look forward to our next bout.

Overall, I’m happy, but it could have been better, particularly given that I had SPS and Parfitt on the bench.

  16. 2226/Pendlebury for me (Second time this year I’ve scored 2226).

I’m just treading water with rookie scores absolutely hurting me. I don’t have Otten or Butler, which may be a mistake. However, I do have Sam Petrovski-Seton, however his 116 was tucked away on the bench. Scores of 49, 32, 42, 56 and 51 are keeping my side down. Hopefully I can start upgrading soon and turning those rookies into premiums. Even so, I’m still quite happy with my overall situation after three rounds (as long as I’m in the SCT Cup).

Overall, a good round. No major drama for Class On Grass this week. Hopefully, I made the cut for the SCT Cup

I left far too many pts out there with Petrevski – Seton and Parfitt on the bench with Omeara and Powell – Pepper on the field. The other letdown was Taranto. Then trading Riewoldt to Steele last week is more pts down the drain. Just bad coaching.

I won 4 out of 10 League incredibly losing 5 by 28pts or less and , the other by 92pts to Father Dougal who had a great week.

Congrats on your win and score Father which should propel you into the SCT Group Cup.

Also congrats and well done to Thommo and Eagling who beat me by 25pts and 26pts respectively.

I must say i was unlucky in my League match ups with 9 out of 10 teams having Witts and just 1 Gawn.

Could be worse i could have had Gawn myself and , then for some unlucky players Gawn as Captain to boot. Bad Luck to those people and , hope you all bounce back next week.

2 trades this week Hibberd to Newman and , Omeara to a fwd premo moving Florent to the mids.

  19. 2173/ Danger. Was ranked 5k but will probably drop a fair bit

Shocker of a week far to many poor performers. Bringing in Hoskin Elliot and Marchbank this week hurt. Gawn Injured was also costly.

Lows – Gawn, SPP, Marchbank, JOM,

JOM can consider him self lucky that i need to bring in Newman and trade Gawn otherwise i would be strongly considering getting rid of him.
    Hibberd- Newman
Gawn- Roo Via nankervis going into the ruck.

A better score this week, with the Pies having a good win. Should climb the rankings a fair bit as a result.

  21. 2363 with Dangerfield as captain hopefully help with the rankings
SPP the biggest disappointment but he will still make the cash he is there for.

Traded NRoo and he is back in one week, have backup to cover Gawn but he might be out for half the year.

    Gotta love SC.

  24. Not good, after not using any trades so far the time has come.

Only 2246, a drop from last week

    Let down by Howe (86), marchbank (56), SPP (51), Laird (86), steele (81), O’Meara (44)….

Danger is captain , did well as usual

Time to start trading in some rookies, and to take out some duds

    Murphy 528,200
    D. Martin 628,100
    C. Oliver 439,300
    Hannebury 561,000
    Otten 201,800
    Adams 546,700

    Anyone else seeing this?

Have had a stinker start to the season. After rd 1 turned my attention to my cash leagues.

Bloody glad I kept NRoo! Was 150pts behind coming into Sunday the great man came through

The same can’t be said for Goldy – honestly may trade him this week if they pick 2 ruckman again.. the great man needs to be in the guts 80% of the game and not played up forward 80%. Brad Scott, forward, you idiot!!!!

Hannas stepped up, selwood keeps keeping on. All-round good to see the rookies start to score well, now if I can just pick the right one to put on the ground.

FURL looks to be messing with my POD Neale not playing him in the middle at bounces, hopefully he get a few more next week..

  27. 2,206/Dangerfield

Was 8,500. Will go down this week.
O’Meara’s 44 cost me a league by 10 points. Led by 54 this morning with only 2 differentials to come. Bloody O’Meara.

Captain hasn’t left Danger and I don’t think it will
Omeara struggling to break out and marchbank didn’t have too much opportunity to clamp marks today like he usually does

    Overall happy

  30. The TEAM

    2112 / Dangerfield

Gawn is a big loss. We have Nankervis sitting in the FWD line but will wait and see before any polls are taken. Disappointing but not the end of the season by a long stretch….

      AFL Fantasy: 2164 / T. Mitchell / 7563 (Top 6%)

RDT: 2112 / T. Mitchell / 5526 (This might sound good, but RDT has less than 15,000 people playing, so this has me in the realm of abject mediocrity – top 38%)

      1. Why all the downvotes? Is mentioning my results in other formats really that offensive to people’s sensibilities? Or is it just my RDT team’s crapness?

Spiralled unmajestically out of the top 100 but I’d love to somehow say it wasn’t my fault. Put the “E” on Sandi and the “C” on Luke hole and next time I checked they were missing!!

Sloane Ranger was great, Danger, Dahl and Adams were tops and Burn man, March, JOM and unfortunately Big Max were the under performers.

Got some work to do to catch up those lost points to cyberspace.

  33. 2125/ Danger. 35Kish

No Gawn for me. Sandi/ Witts looking like gold at he moment.

Ottens 98, Parfitts 99, and Barretts 74 all on my bench.

Taranto, JOM, Pepper PIG and Tuohy all hurt my score.

I still have 29 trades and no injures

    Newman in this week.

Thinking of down grading Tuohy and turning JOM into Sloane/ Bont.

Gone from a 75,000 ranking rd 1, 50,000 odd rd 2 and now around 20,000.
No Gawn, started with Nankilands and Witts on the bench with Ryder in the fwds. Now got Nank fwd, Sandiwtts rucking and Ryder on the ruck bench.

  35. 2292 / Danger / 20142

Not my best ever score week but probably my best ever week overall. 10/10 wins in leagues and a big jump in rank that will get me into the cup. Mixed overall, some rookies stepped up, some did not with a few premiums doing well and a few blah. I like that it didn’t take the whole team doing well at once to get a good result.

Bont still more points than Hanners, so while initially sad to see him do well, (sort of) I am curious if long term I will still come out ahead.
