So glad I got Grundy in this week, it’s a trade that truly makes me whole again.

Crisp finally tonned up again, he needs to re-pay for me all the good faith during the season.

Overall, that’s a score of 5771 over the bye period. I’m pretty content with that considering I’ve spent more time planning for this period than I usually would for my finances.

10/10 league wins, so it seems like a good score for this week.

    1. Update: now ranked 3,765

That makes for a net ranking change across the byes of +2094 places, so a productive few weeks overall.

My score was bumped to 2103 in the end (Grundy and Crisp each got an extra point – thanks CD!)

Bring on the rest of the season!

    1. Round 14 rank of 443 I’ll take that! I see there were a few on here with even higher scores good job guys! Season rank of 4195.

Bye strategy was working a treat until this week !! Four rooks selected just for coverage not named and a couple of injuries makes for sad scores.

New recruit Neale was underwhelming, as were Fyfe and TKelly. The reliables went huge in Max, Danger and JMac and were backed up well with tons from Boak, Lloyd and Daniel.

I was sure I’d get Grundy much cheaper next week so passed on that – another cracker move? Pretty sure the 13,000 places picked up during the last two rounds are going to be lost plus some

  4. 2119/Gawn/ hopefully better than 17,194.

15 players got 90 or above. My lowest score within the 18 was Duursma’s 75.

Started awful with sicily, worpel, answerth, bewley, hore. Came home with a bang tho.
T/u will stay around the same mark
    T/d will drop in rank

    Boak
    Macrae
    Grundy

    Duds:

    1. SURELY against the Eagles next week he is played in defense? If not, I will self-immolate.

Brought in Neale this week to finish off mid, maybe a mistake….

Have no idea if I’m gunna go up or down in rank this week.

But happy with 6/7 league wins.
only loss was to Chillos Champs by 20 points in SCT5 league.

Not bad considering I had 40s from Sicily and Darling included in my score. Little disappointed by my scores over the last three weeks, but at least the byes are behind us.

  10. 2002/Gawn/ was about 14k
From 18 players I am really happy with this score as i couldn’t replace the score of Hore or other rookies in my team. 10/10 league wins too! First time this year! Taking down Catta in his challenge league too 😉

Studs: Gawn, Grundy, Macrae, Danger, Boak, Oliver and Lockhart.
Lockhart was going to be traded this week but since he was named another warm bodies help and he did a lot! Should rise in a bit more cash to help with final upgrades which i’ll be stoked with. Those rucks are phenomenal!

    Spuds: Worpel, Neale, Hore
Pretty happy only really 3 spuds but Neale is causing concern that he is dropping a lot in form. Hopefully he picks it back up soon. Worpel just hasn’t been worth it, but not every pick will work out. Unsure on what to do with Hore now as that score is concerning as he was being considered a D6 option for many coaches just last round and that changes a lot of things.

    1. Tech team results:
      1991/Grundy/33k
9 trades left with ROB, Walsh and Hore still on the field with 70k banked. This is where it becomes real tricky on what to do. Thrilled to be 2nd in the group though. Lets see if i can keep this up after the byes!

Happy with bye rounds 5859 all up.
Should make up some more places.
Sicily better be pushed back this week.
    Expensive player to not contribute

  12. Woah! PLOT TWIST!

At the start of the year I convinced my cousin to make a SuperCoach team. He loosely chose a couple of his premos and I did the rest- rookies, trades, bye structure and have managed it since. It’s sort of been my f**k-around team, took early gambles on guys like Daniel, Marshall and Rich.

It hasn’t done too well this year (fluctuated around 20k~) UNTIL this round: scored 2233, ranking #48th for R14! Taking credit for that!

Happy about that, improved my ranking throughout the byes which is always the goal as they tend to ruin seasons.

Now need to continue the push towards top 100

  14. 2056/Gawn/268

Up 136 spots but lost my SCT Cup match-up.
    10 players over 100 and 6 below 80.
Great games from Begley and new recruits Ryan and Brayshaw. The usual suspects of Grundy, Gawn, Macrae, Danger and Boak maintained their standards. Nice return to form for Crisp as well.
Fyfe, Neale and T Kelly need to improve.

  15. 1962/Grundy/1847
Dropped 27 places so I’m guessing that score was pretty close to par, projected to score 2500+ this week , which is pertinent, last year was in a similar position and dropped outside the the top 10 K while still averaging 2250, needed a better premium side, which I think may improve this year.8 trades left , waiting on Whitfield to come back which will cost 3 trades, that leaves 5 with 7 rounds to play is it enough?

  16. 1996/Gawn vc/4801

Previous bye round scores of 1994 & 1998 and my ranking went from 19462 at the end of round 11 to the above.

I won 22 out of 27 matches in my various leagues. Played some coaches who obviously didn’t realise that you are supposed to try for all 3 bye rounds.

By the sounds of Hinkley talking Rockliff will come back thru the SANFL in which case he’s out this week. I am hoping Hately gets named.

Will pick up Hurn for Hore next round and maybe Whitfield a couple of weeks after he returns from injury.

  17. 2022 / Gawn / up 77 spots to 534

I actually went up 140 spots in total through the byes. Considering previous years when my team was inevitably a dumpster fire at this time of the year, it was a pleasant change! I’ll probably go ahead with my plan of getting Sloane this week, and then hopefully ROB to Whitfield in a couple of weeks.
Now, I’m off to eat some hat. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, ask Catta!

  18. 1,986 / Gawn / Moved from 3,569 to 3,200

Pretty happy with the week but was going to go early on Logue but held Answerth an extra week which backfired a little. Making that trade this week and hopefully one more dowgrade to Hind to free some cash and try to make the final upgrade soon

Great last 2 bye rounds. Was ranked 22k 2 weeks ago. Shame I had Gawn with the VC, anyone else and I would gone with Grundy C.
