Been hovering around 500 in the rankings for 5-6 weeks now much to my annoyance. Hoping this week puts me up around 300

  3. 2465/Gawn/2762 still in lock-out

Happy, considering I had to cop an injury affected score from Ryan. Shout out to big Chris Burgess, who covered Hurn with a career best 87.

      1. Cheers, hammer. In the same precarious position with Ryan as you are. One trade left, don’t want to have to use on him.

Sitting round 1,200 hoping to crack into top 1k

Will I finish top 150 overall for the round?

Marshall great on debut. Whitfield underwhelming on return. Jez Cameron massive let down, Crisp is becoming a liability.

    Bring on finals.

Some below average work from some premoโ€™s Crisp, Crouch, Williams, Cameron to mention a few.
3 trades left and full premo, assessment on way!

Disappointing week winning only 3/10 leagues however made 8 / 10 of my league finals so not complaining.
    Was ranked 1920 .
    Some big scores.
Good luck in finals fellow supercoachers

    1. Not a complete fall from grace, PBuzz. Still a decent score. You’ll be able to make it up in the coming weeks.

A good performance from most of the team, with just the backline letting me down (Crisp, Milera, Ryan โ€“ย though at least the latter had an excuse). I won 4 league matchups by an average of 93 points, and lost the remaining 6 by an average of 56, so based on that, I would assume that my score is slightly (but not horrendously) below par, so in a repeat of the last few weeks’ efforts, I’ll probably slip another few hundred spots in the rankings this week.

    1. Update: now ranked 3,530. Score was also scaled down to 2,405.

Although I play for overall rather than leagues, I’m pleased to report that I made finals in 7/10 of my leagues, and finished 3 games clear on top of the ladder in LoEC3. Saldy, I didn’t make the cut in my own BeatTheSalamander league, although I did make it in BeatTheSalamander 2 through 4.

Finally won 10/10 legues this round! Happy but hoping its enough to raise me up from 9th to 8th in 2 of my leagues (most especially SCT Premier League 1).

Happy with my trade in decision of M Duncan over Zerrett, & my choice of keeping Answerth over Logue, whose 98 onfield covering Hurn was a huge relief.

This season has been a real struggle, but I’m finally finding form, albeit too late for a lot of the leagues that I’m in. But I shouldn’t be too disappointed, as 5/10 leagues I’m in, are ranked in the top 150.

    1. Oof, Kov. That’s some bad luck right there. Dw though, solid rank and hopefully Ryan gets up next week.

Happy to go up the ranks with a Hurn donut! Anyone else considering luxury trading Matt Crouch??

Was glad to move up 600+ spots this week despite Ryan’s hammy going ping.

Also made a few important league finals including my cash league. Glad I’ve got 5 trades up my sleeve to sort out my backline with Ryan presumably out for an extended period.

Crouch is causing me some headaches in my Mids. Cripps was magnificent.

  13. 2391/Dunkley/497 (-73)

Crap weekend. Captained Dunkley instead of Macrae, traded out Hurn to bring in Williams for an entirely underwhelming score if 70.
13 tons but plenty of big names not in that bunch – Danger, Laird, Lloyd, Whitfield and the aforementioned Dunkley and Williams.

  14. 2333 / Gawn / down 145 spots to 413

Defence is the only line letting me down at the moment, but it is doing a damn good job of it. Averaged a pathetic 72 there this weekend. Also, I’m still speechless about Jeremy Cameron’s second half. Apart from that no major complaints, managed to avoid bringing in Ryan this week, and just hoping Hurn returns very very soon!

Donut due to Hurn and Andrews absent with G Logue filling in as well as Hately replacing J Kelly which lead to the below par score. Cannot wait until I can use my last 2 trades to grab a Menegola type fwd/mid finally relegating the Hoff to the bench and completing my team. Hopefully can manage 1 round with a full strength side before the season closes.

A fantastic match-up with Eagling in the SCT draft league with a narrow 4 point victory my way with no ruck involved. Looking forward to the preliminary final match-up against Chillo and congrats to Eagling for finishing as the minor premier.

Excited for the SC off-season involving NFL,NBA and Big Bash competitions filling the void and hopefully can attract some SCT regulars to participate.
