  1. 2068/Gawn/ 16444 (before this round)
Worst start to my sc season but happy with this rounds score considering I held Fyfe .
Gawn who I traded in pre abandoned round delivered ,debutant Ridley delivered and Brayshaw and Laird rewarded me finally .

Just putting this here to make you all feel better about yourselves ;)….Season is pretty much over for me, just far too many injuries to cover with only two trades a week. Going to have fun with my trades from now on and just see what happens.

  3. 1971/Grundy as VC/ was 7k ranking.

From looking good to winning all my leagues ended up losing half of them mainly thanks to Wingard, Ceglar and especially Sicily

Where do I start?? This my lowest score ever with 22 players counted. 7 out of 8 on my bench DNP. The one who did play was my highest scoring fwd who I couldn’t get on field (Taylor).

Grundy, Neale, Jelly, Doedee and Daniel the only players to score over 100.

By contrast eleven players were sub-80. Bont and Sicily head up the Duds list which is too long to spell out this week.

One Supercoach team going free to a good home.

After an absolute shocker last week and not cracking the 2k mark. This week my team actually performed great thanks to not having trade players like Howe or Stewart, and my recruit of Weller doing horrible last week returns with a 97. New recruit Duncan also did his consistent thing scoring 117, always makes my team some point in the year

Hopefully I get these scores every week

  6. In the spirit of Chillo:

    1746/Neale

Worst ever non-bye score for me.

Copped: a donut I couldn’t avoid; Budarick (with Taylor on bench), T Brown; Sicily, Viney, Rowell (with everyone else).

Lone positive: players I traded in WEREN’T injured and had respectable scores.

Everyone I have seen had the man bun.
Must get Gawn back in. Traded him for Pitto and cash a couple of weeks ago.

  8. 1922, Neale.

Kelly, Neale, Greenwood, Duncan, Houston, Daniel , Mitchell and C.Taylor scored 100 and over.
    Too many passengers to name.
    Too many that need replacing.

Think you are flying then crashed in the swamp after the next game
Supercoach, what would we do without it.

Let down by Sicily and Viney (who I had earmarked to trade out for Jake Lloyd before defensive rookie carnage at selection).

We’ll see how Rowell pulls ups but could be looking at trading him and Viney out (although Aarts seems like he will hold his spot and potentially score well).

    1. Hey mate, have a similar problem… Just thought I’d reach out and ask if you think getting Arts in for a rookie is more important than upgrading Viney?
Thanks, congrats on the great season so far!

      1. Thanks mate!

I think upgrading Viney is more important given I’m playing for points (trying to maintain my rank)!

I do worry that my rookies aren’t generating enough cash which could bite me in the latter part of the year.

Somehow gained 1500~ with what I thought was an abysmal score. My round can be summed up by the fact that by FWD rookies (Taylor, King and Berry) were my 8th, 11th and 13th best scores – what a week!

Dropped 685 spots. Not bad with a donut in def and shitheap Sicily I suppose.Hope nobody cops Houli staying home.Dodged a bullet there as Sicily to Houli was a planned trade before backline carnage this week.

  13. 1948 – Grundy- 9231 – dropped 1557 spots.

Only 6 players cracked the ton, one of whom was a rookie – Taylor. That left 9 players under 70, 9 on field rookies and only one playing bench player. Replaced Howe & Stewart with C Daniel & Simpkin, still got Fyfe to deal with, and Rowell, and so many rookies who look done & dusted. Don’t even know where to start planning for next week.

Was pretty optimistic going into Saturday’s games and then got dismal scores from Bont, and Sicily who I just traded in (why didn’t I pick Haynes!). Looked like my score was going to be much worse, so not too disappointed in the end but could’ve been better.

6/10 league wins suggests that this seemingly low score is roughly par, which is also reflected in my rank being about the same as last week.

Like most, I had Rowell on field; unfortunately, I had Bailey Smith on field, too. Houston also decided to finally do something after I finally traded him out, but I at least managed to get Brayshaw’s (very) good score after my plans to trade him out were foiled by injuries I had to tend to.

Overall, not a brilliant week, but it could have been a lot worse.

Still avoiding the injury crisis (except Rowell, which has affected everyone)

    1. Well done The Wombats. On a season like this one, credit for avoiding the injured players. Lets hope your luck takes you all the way.

      1. Thanks. The choice of the Rowell replacement (if he’s out for an extended time) will be a crucial one

Stoked with Taylor & Vadermeer’s Ton ! well……( all bar one point ) & Tom Doodee posting a healthy 116 , unlike Heeney & Shithead…I beg your pardon, I mean Sicily & not to mention the Bont & Macrae …still , I Love This Game !!

  19. ALL ABOARD THE BRAYSHAW BREAKOUT EXPRESS!!!!
Him and Sturt pretty much saved my round.

    1946/Grundy/ 24500
moved up 500 spots. Slowly slogging my way up the rankings after the infamous demons/dee non-game.

Smith and Rowell combined for 9 points so happy with the rest of my team to get me that score.

My bench cash generation is starting to improve, I’m hoping most of them start getting regular games over the next part of the season.

New POD recruit Duncan did what Duncan does and pump out reliable 110ish scores. Will probably nab Parker this week for the same reason.

Rowell is an obvious trade out but I need to look at BEs to determine the other cow to cull. With a large kitty it’ll be a double upgrade week quite likely (or do I get Aarts?). My defence is a make shift, hodgepodge, hot mess that’s plodding along. Short at D2 and Doedee at D3. Need to bolster down back.

OK, considering I had to cop a donut in my backline (bloody Brander, friggin Noble) and spuddish displays from Ceglar and a few others. Will wait and see the injury news on Rowell & Brander but my backline needs a lot of work. Rgegretted not being able to bring in Ridley last week (went for Gawn instead – no regrets!).

Feel like I’m going to run our of trades this year…

  22. 2055/Grundy/10141. Getting wild rides each week from Sicily and Wingard. Still haven’t recovered the full 28k lost r3 debacle, but happy with progress over last two weeks. Will be welcoming recruits Yeo (with a run of home games and oh so cheap) and Aarts.. Reckon with what is happening at tigers, Pickett gets a run this week also.

    1. You’ve done well to get back to the top 10k

      I agree on Picket.
Aarts copped a corked thigh in the 4th… but should get up.

  24. 1772/Grundy/148,780 (haha)

This is my first round of SuperCoach ever. Really having a good time and starting to understand this a bit better. Looking forward to competing with you all.

My focus to start is picking players with a low BE and planning to use the cash to trade up, seeing as I’ve started with most good rookies having already made the biggest ground. Took a risk and played Hibberd in the mids for Serong, hoping he’d be the tackle machine he was in the VFL and I’d get good points for frees.

Took a risk on a cheap Bont, but think he’ll be one of the ones to go.

  25. 2098 could have been slightly better, looped King with his 86 and left Taylor’s ton on bench. But very happy to still be in top 20 overall, don’t think it will last but enjoying the ride for now.
