  1. To be honest at the moment, I would be just happy to have 2 ruckmen playing on the field at the end of the year

      1. So well in time then, even factoring in a couple of weeks for the inevitable price drop before the finals.
An interesting long term plan (because they always work!) would be to hold Sandilands until his bye and then trade him for a premium forward, swing Nankervis into the ruck, and leave him there until the finals. Then trade Gawn back in again.
        Sounds good in theory?

  2. Honestly, it’s really hard to say right now.

Stefan Martin as a sole ruck? Yes please. Stefan Martin sharing with Archie Smith? No thank you.

Goldstein as a sole ruck? Hell yes. With Preuss? God no.

Grundy on his own? Absolutely. And with Cox? Maybe not.

Gawn Solo? Perhaps… but it remains to be seen how shaving his beard off will affect his performance upon his return. Sharing with Spencer? Without any past data it’s hard to say, but probably not.

Mumford is injury/suspension prone, and Jacobs is not what he once was, at least from a fantasy standpoint. Witts has been great so far, but I don’t think he’ll be a keeper. But without knowing what real-life coaches plans are for the remainder of the season, I’d be frightened to bring in a premium ruck this year. At this rate, the optimal setup could end up being Nakerlands!
