Happy with that and heres cheers to these guys: Suckling,Libba,Joelwood,Pav,Sandi,Massive,Pendles,Buddy and Goodes.
Jeers to the Dish,Dids,Tappy,Redden and Nick-couldnt-get-a-lot-Lower.
2171. Content, but a few spuds in the derby prevented a huge one, namely Duffield & Lower(subbed)
Anyone else losing patience with the Duffman!? One of a few semi-PODs I started with and he’s let me down in all but one/two games.
Very happy though, with the purchase of Priddis last week now after a Ross Glendenning medal winning performance.
thought making jobe watson my captain would give me a sneaky advantage over those that had given it to swan but it failed spectacularly. just hope his injuries not too bad!
otherwise i pretty average week, only one ton in my backs though 🙁
Horrible! 1967!
Another low score thanks to Goddard, Roo, Joey on the pine, Broughton. These guys are supposed to be carrying the team. Saints snap out of it and play solid footy!!
Petrie, Lower and Taps also down this week.
Back to the drawing board.
Happy with the result in the end. Still undefeated in the league and expect to go up a bit in the rankings.
The Good
Stoked with new recruit Fisher (for Grimes)(156), Selwood (153), Priddis (126), Franklin (122), Goodes (124 > 248 justified the C).
100+ from Pavlich, Sandilands, Cox.
Happy with Swan (just 98), Darling (98), R Murphy (96), Dan ‘the Man’ Stan (87).
The Not So Good
Reiwoldt (88), Goddard (78), Swallow (75), Broughton (71), Heppell (68).
The Muppet Show
McKernan (59), L Thompson (54), Petrie (50), Lower (41), Tapscott (41).
Not bad, but I’ll take it! 2/3 league wins, in the LoEC and cash league which makes me happy. Hawks won, got 7 in the tipping (missed out on the Cats), so all in all a good footy weekend. Also glad I got no injuries this week as well.
Good – Joelwood (C), Lids, Stanley, Ward, Massive, Goldstein (wow big fella!), Pav, Buddy, Goodesy, Darlin’.
Bad – BJ, Lower, Broughton, Chappy, Tappy, Droopy, L.Thompson.
In The Gun – Broughton
Goooonnnne – D.Swallow, Stanley (both tactical).
Broughton is an issue, but I reckon I might ride him out until finals if he can get 70s and 80s that will have to do. D.Swallow will likely become Mundy this week, and Stanley, despite his good performance, will be the sacrificial cow (for Jacobs) as he has a bye and then he plays Geelong. Ward, Harris, and WoodKrak earn themselves at least another week in my team. Kudos.
Man – I thought the multi-bye weeks were bad… 2101.
Going to change my team name from the tigers to the potato farmers given the number of spuds I am carrying..
2074
Won 4 out of 5 league games and I’m happy enough given the number of sub 2000 scores that I’ve noticed good teams get throughout my 5 leagues.
I’m happy because the glory that is Man Utd won its league record 19th title, moving ahead of Loserpool. Now we just have to take care of Barca and we’ll be Kings of Europe as well.
I’m Tired And I Had Enough…of hemorrhaging cash!
– N Riewoldt lost another 30K to $375,200 with BE 132
– B Goddard lost another 35K to $480,000 with BE 195
That’s over 300K lost on the pair of them and based on their BE, they’ll most likely keep going down. So what do you do if you have them in your team? Cut your losses? I mean enough is enough, right?
go back to the start of the season, and you would be crazy to not have Goddard in your team..
thus far, the “Goddard = god” theory is yet to really take off
Been a long wait till’ lockout end but it was worth the wait.
I was reasonably happy with a solid 2179/Goodes but was loving it when I’d jumped another 96 spots in the overall to 85. A little under 400 behind Gary who? (might want to rethink that name).
Bigups to Goodesy for taking the arm band and running with it, Bud, Joelwood (I don’t care what anyone says – he aint no cheat ;)) Fyfe, the Suckling Pig and a big welcome to Heater.
Dids, Dish & Godd – words will be had.
Big whack to myself too. Next weeks team will be picked with both eyes open. The 60 points that I should have had from having Libba on field instead of Smithy would have had me in the top 50.
I’ll accept my mistake of leaving Harris on, a bit disappointing with the injury of Embers.
Lower, Jetta, Tapscott, Matera, L.Thompson, D Grimes – I understand I got most them cause they were rookies and they won’t always get 80+, but it did seem like they were against me this week. – Just sayin.
Also.. what is this about an injury on Dangerfield?
After last weeks sub 2000 I wanted to get back on the winners list, and i did sort of, 3/5 league wins, 11,000 overall.
I started the year off avg’ing 2300 over the first 3 rounds but it seems my team “bottomed” out last week but I just counted 19 guns so a “purple” week is not far away.
Ive got a plan and im sticking to it, hard as it is sometimes!
BIIIIIG shout out to matty “my knee is sore but not sore enough to ton up!” wright
Hibberd on the bubble now! see if he gets another shot.
Duigan out for Pops this week, with gilham going down he should keep his spot.
Matera out for Smith this week, kid looks comfy on the park, just need to see if jnr coming back effects his JS…will find out friday night i suppose.
Only need to make 2 trades after this week to make a pretty strong side, next week swallow is out for hodge and round 14 harris is making way for swanny. Should be a few LTI’s in there somewhere but ive got it covered.
Would be good to see McCauley get another gig soon.
HIggins for ROK a few weeks ago has paid off nicely so far.
My MVP for this year so far has to be Fyfe, little legend. I picked him from the beginning as a bit of a unique mid pricer and he quickly turned himself into a keeper! Had a couple of mid pricers go out the door since the start of the year but if you can find that 1 “fyfe” every year your laughing!
Alrighty, thats my monday morning rant done.
Have a good week guys.
Has anybody seen Hodge’s price at the moment – 440k for an out and out champion! Even carrying an injury I am going to look at upgrading Harris this week for next to nothing and take the punt.
First off – Looking forward to getting a mention in Motts’ Movers this week after 2 in a row to clear from the bottom of SCT1! Very happy with a big scalp like Deano and his flyinghigh-ers!
Secondly – On the back of his 197 odd this week I’m posing a question regarding who to trade in this week:
Thumbs up: D. Swan
Thumbs down: G. Ablett
Looking to eventually have both in the middle once rookies have topped out, poor performers have been cut.
I traded this morning cause im overseas for the next 10 days and then realised i missed the next 2 downgrade targets in hibberd and puo. (both 2 games so far) unless they dont get named this week ill miss the boat.
Will involve a Double trade and use of the MPP, I want fisher and shaw in this week, so im thinking of the following:
Grimes to Fisher, then move Goddard into the middle for Heppel (MPP), Pav forward (MPP), Then Heppel to Shaw, Basically means im strenthening my forward line moving pav down there while adding another 2 premiums??
I’ve got my trades set out for the next few weeks. No trades this week, next week I’ll do Higgins > Lynch and then Curnow Pendlebury/Murphy. Week after that, I’ll upgrade Tapscott.
Does everyone think it more beneficial to downgrade say a David Swallow to Isaac Smith, and then upgrade a defender (e.g Danny Stanley to Deledio), or a midfielder (eg Libba to Boyd), or a forward, (e.g Krak to say Chappy).
Really what the hell is the go with Andrew Gaff, and John worsfold for that matter? The kid plays the last quarter of every game and averages 10.2 disposals and 3.2 marks a game. When is this guy going to get a proper run? Looking like an absolute champion in the making. Worsfold came out on Thursday saying he was going to play a bigger role in the West Coast side, the doesnt even select him. Whats the go?
frustrated 1460 16 played, argh im in the top 1000 :s
1674/6/selwood. Have Cox, Sandi, Darling, Lower, Broughton and the Pav stick to go… Big thanks to libba and savage.wooooooooo
1589/6/Boyd
Cox, Sandi, Pav, Mundy, Broughton and Lower
Lower subbed.
FAAAAAAARK.
nothing wrong with lower, just been slow today
Anybody have the balls to put the Big C on GAJ? (I don;t even have him in my side, but one of my opponents did (no C though, thank goodness!!)
2087
Happy with that and heres cheers to these guys: Suckling,Libba,Joelwood,Pav,Sandi,Massive,Pendles,Buddy and Goodes.
Jeers to the Dish,Dids,Tappy,Redden and Nick-couldnt-get-a-lot-Lower.
2072
Fyfe is a superstar… needed a big second half and delivered! 4 out of 5 in the leagues.
2206- very happy with that, next 2 weeks will get priddis and ablett
1994 — 0/5 league wins
Season’s over from now on I’m just going to trade my ass off and not worry about any consequences that might arrive.
2057
Big thanks to Fyfe, Mundy, Pav, Sandi, Pendles, Franklin, Goodes, Deledio.
No thanks to Atley, Lower, Tapscott, Matera, L.Thompson
2214
good score?
A Huge thank you to Shaw and Selwood, with other good scorers.
2171. Content, but a few spuds in the derby prevented a huge one, namely Duffield & Lower(subbed)
Anyone else losing patience with the Duffman!? One of a few semi-PODs I started with and he’s let me down in all but one/two games.
Very happy though, with the purchase of Priddis last week now after a Ross Glendenning medal winning performance.
yep, absolutely I’ve had enough, ring the bell already on season ’11 for my saints…. and my mr 4 year old cheered his heart out at the ‘G today 🙁
*ahem* oh and 2014/Goodes.
tired and emotional tonight.
Just scraped over 2000. Not happy. Will need some big changes in the weeks to come. Will drop out of overall contention now, will focus on league.
2075/watson
thought making jobe watson my captain would give me a sneaky advantage over those that had given it to swan but it failed spectacularly. just hope his injuries not too bad!
otherwise i pretty average week, only one ton in my backs though 🙁
Horrible! 1967!

2072/Boyd
Pretty content, started off strongly but a pretty dissapointing saturday and sunday.
Good- Buddy, Sandi, Boak, Selwood, Darling
Bad- Gray, Tapscott, Bock, Matera
2136…..
Happy with a few bur really disappointed with Burgoyne and Broughton….Very tempted to trade them out
2131
Happy with the result in the end. Still undefeated in the league and expect to go up a bit in the rankings.
The Good

The Muppet Show
McKernan (59), L Thompson (54), Petrie (50), Lower (41), Tapscott (41).
2031. Pretty bad, but not as bad as 4 out of 5 of my opponents. I can see myself trading pretty steadily over the coming weeks.
2149/Swan
Rookies were all disappointing: Lower (41), Thompson (54), Heppell (68), Tapscott (41), Matera (53) as well as Petrie (50).
Still have Curnow, and was planning to trade I Smith but only scored 57.
Big question, but who to bring in for curnow?
2116/Watson and I can’t put across my anger with my players to many let me down
2142 Not sure how to feel really
Yay: Mundy Boyd Goodes Selwood Franklin Stevie J
Boo: Dish God NRoo “Bought me nothing but grief”
2156 in the end.
Not bad.
Not great.
God and Roo continue to frustrate.
2151/Joelwood
Not bad, but I’ll take it! 2/3 league wins, in the LoEC and cash league which makes me happy. Hawks won, got 7 in the tipping (missed out on the Cats), so all in all a good footy weekend. Also glad I got no injuries this week as well.

Best Midfield Upgrade this week? (price area)
Scott Tompson (460k)
Matt Priddis (530k)
David Mundy (530k)
Im thinking Tompson for a POD and has really easy finals draw. Also the cheapest and can bank a few bucks. Who do you think?
2078/boyd
Not great but i’ll take it.
5/5 league wins, all by pretty close margins.
Really need Rioli back. So sick of Hawthorn and their lies. Happened last year with Sam “he’ll be right next week” Mitchell.
deja vu with Rioli
Man – I thought the multi-bye weeks were bad… 2101.

Lockout finally over. With my score of 2171, I was predicting a move into the top 2000 this week and bang! 1,999th!
Nice MJ. Omen’s up 3396 places to 8887!
Only 1080pts behind the leader now… might be in with a shot if I nail it for the next 16 weeks in a row 😀
Been a long wait till’ lockout end but it was worth the wait.

All I’m gonna say is that I should’ve put Selwood captain.
Would’ve been much more happy if I did.

N. Riewoldt is also very low (373k) but I’m not sure whether or not to stay away and go for ROK instead as a player in good form
If someone on here hasn’t liked SCT on Facebook, get on it! We’ve been sitting on 299 for a while, do us proud and become the 300th fan.

whats a POD?
and where do you find the stats you guys are talking about? BE’S etc.
1st year in supercoach, so a bit unfamiliar. doing ok i think. ranked 2550 overall
Looking to bring Hodge in.
Who should I upgrade?
Libba/Swallow/Harris
I traded this morning cause im overseas for the next 10 days and then realised i missed the next 2 downgrade targets in hibberd and puo. (both 2 games so far) unless they dont get named this week ill miss the boat.

Trades this week,
Matera- I.Smith (if not named i will go Lynch)
Harris- Scott Tompson (easy draw and in great form)
Next Week
Duigan- Jacobs
Krakouer- Ablett
Good Trades- thumbs up
Bad Trades- thumbs down
2280/Boyd
Thanks to Fisher (massive game….AGAIN!) and Shaw
I’ll be holding onto Watson this week and then hope he is ok after the bye.
Is it time to downgrade Heppell with a breakeven of 74?
Thumbs up- YES
Thumbs down- NO
Cheers
1995 worst score for season lost my first league match Enright / BJ/ Petrie pull your finger out . Thumbs up to Libba and Goodsey

thanx for the feedback juddy. and ive been called worse things than bastard a few times lol. early days yet though.
possible trades this week.
duigan to jacobs
duncan to any mid. was thinking boyd or pendles.
will tapscott make any more cash, or is he a keeper?
