How Would You Improve SuperCoach in 2015?

Written by MJ on October 16 2014

If you could take the reigns at SC-HQ, how would you change the game? More prize money? No byes? More/less trades? A better emergency system? It seems SuperCoach wants to know our thoughts in a survey: http://tinyurl.com/kcc7crx. Whether we’ll be able to have any influence or not is yet to be seen.

Or are you an “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” sort of person?

  1. WARNING: This is more of a marketing survey on the Nissan advertising campaign than it is a brain-storming session on Supercoach. The ad campaign will probably be changed for next year……….but SC will most likely be the same

  2. Feedback on Twitter is saying schedule the SC GF in the penultimate round rather than the final round when a whole lot of the guns get rested for the finals.

We may not get a LOT of female traffic here at SCT, MJ, but lets not completely exclude them, hey?

  4. For me I would scrap the rolling lockout for Captains, hate it.
Also unless your onfield player is a Sub scrap the Rolling lockout for the team.

Or if he is the Sub and your bench player plays you just get his score, as long as he has the E on him.

  5. I don’t think it would hurt the Herald Sun to cough up for a few more placegetters other than first. Wouldn’t necessarily have to be cash, but could be along the lines of the top 50 (or 20 depending on how stingy they want to be), get a free SC Gold subscription for the next season. Top 10 could also get free access to the articles that we now have to pay for.

Didn’t we drop 100,000 players from 2013 – could that be because people have to pay for intel. Seems that way from reading a lot of the requests to the SCT site. Chuck in an incentive for these folk and maybe we get a lot of them back in the game.

  6. Round 1 games have been announced – round one is NOT a split round, meaning we can structure our teams knowing all the rookies that have been named for round 1 (this in itself will be a big improvement over past seasons!)

  7. Provide the ability for coaches to (legally) have two teams – that way one can be focused on league wins and the other on the overall prize.

As it stands, we have people being dodgy…err working around the system… And registering multiple teams under their wife’s, girlfriends, family members names…
