Howard played in the ruck in the second half. Star ruckman Paddy Ryder could return for the Power’s round 20 Showdown with Adelaide, while defender Tom Jonas has returned to running after knee surgery and is a few weeks away. – Lee Gaskin

Bachar Houli is rated just a chance to play after missing the win over St Kilda with groin soreness. It flared after his return to the field in round 17, so the Tigers will now weigh up whether he should be eased back in through the VFL this week. No one else is slated to return this week, although Nathan Drummond may be cleared to return from another hamstring in the VFL. They got through the weekend relatively unscathed with just Oleg Markov picking up a fresh injury – a new knee complaint in a different spot to where he’s had issues so far this season. – Jennifer Phelan
