: Just letting everyone know that as Blicavs got 94, if you have him as your emergency ruck you can sub out one of your #1 or 2 rucks and bring in your 4th ruck who isn't playing/hasn't played yet this round (e.g. currie) and therefore Blicavs 94 points will count. This ONLY works if a) Blicavs was your emergency, and b) that 1 of your rucks haven't played yet. It's always good to have points on the board so consider this move carefully.

Did you see Dangerman tackle the goal post? Kamikaze really is the word for him. Awesome to watch, but I’d ditch him to save myself the brainstrain if I had him.

Tough one, I don’t have him but the real question is has he recovered from his neck injury and smashing into the goal post doen’t help much. He shows potential when his playing in the midfield and can even kick a bag, like he did against the swans. I think that the fact is the Crows are playing that badly you can’t just single him out.

I only saw a small fragment of the game (I DID see the goalpost headbutt) and for most of that time he was exclusively up forward – not a place for heavy scoring.

Dangerman is a tough one, i traded him for higgins a couple of weeks ago when i saw him get crunched in that awful tackle (thought he would be out for awhile) but he played the next week and so on.
i would probably trade him, he doesn’t really look as sharp as usual or like scoring aswell as he did in earlier rounds

Hmmm yeh is a tough one, before this round I was going to trade out Ziebell or Dangerfield for Rockliff, I chose Ziebell and I stick by that choice. But I think Dangerfield will be out this week and I will bring in Phil Davis, he looked great last night.

Fair crack! He started the season with 93 and 98 and then almost got killed against Melbourne – if the latter had eventuated, your last comment would be justified, although it would probably be classified in the “too soon” category.

Lol, I had a good giggle at this.
He is making me very cross though, as is Ziebell. Thankfully the round ended well with GAJ as captain getting me across the line.
I have Kerr and Mitchell in my team, first the idiots cost me money with inept performances and then got injured. So now on the bench at this point trying to conserve trades but it is time to move on them this week. Dangermouse and his friend Ziebs get one more week to redeem themselves.

My trade plans during the week involved switching either Danger or Balla for Rockliff – I was leaning towards Balla who had just come off 26 and reminded me far too much of Milne. Due to other selection issues, the trade did not eventuate which was fortuitous as Balla cracked a decent ton and Rockliff had a stinker (although, he will still make plenty of cash).
The moral of this story: Have some faith people! You picked these players for a reason. So many coaches are ready to burn a trade because of their lack of patience (me included, obviously). These blogs/forums are littered with tales of woe where a player is traded out the week before a break-out performance.

good call kevin bartlett. sometimes its funny to read last weeks posts. everyone wanted to get rid of ballantyne. and everyon was talking about how GAJ was gonna get toweled up by joseph. im not saying people dont get it right a lot of the time aswell but i do think you should really think hard before trading. apart from the fact that you only have 20, how much is the trade actually gonna help you over the next few weeks?

HOWDY PEOPLE. DANGERMAN IS CAUSING ME HEARTACHES AS WELL. I WAS THINKING OF USING A PRECIOUS TRADE TO SORT THIS ISSUE OUT ONCE AND FOR ALL. MY FIRST THOUGH WAS TO DROP YOUNG DANGER FOR P.DAVIES, BANKING THE COIN AND UPGRADING RIOLI TO CHAPMAN. I RECKON MY FORWARD LINE WOULD BE PRETTY ROCK SOLID THEN, CONSISTING OF:
*CHAPMAN. THE MIGHTY PAV, O’KEEFE, HARVEY, HIGGINS, MEDHURST, J.POD**
** JPOD WOULD ROTATE THROUGH MY BENCH OPTIONS ROCKLIFF AND P.DAVIES.
MY OTHER IDEA WAS A MORE SAFER OPTION, DOWNGRADING NASON TO P.DAVIES, AND UPGRADING DANGER TO SOMEONE IN THE $418K BRACKET ~ ANY IDEAS ON PLAYERS WOULD BE GREAT, WAS THINKING MAYBE BRADSHAW?

Traded Danger last week for Pods. As I said a few weeks ago it looks like Adelaide when then eventually get it inside 50 are going to Birdman anyway, so not enough ball for him to get the points.

I’m thinking of trading Hunt to a rookie, then Danger to Sylvia or Judd or a premium forward. (I have $113,000 in the bank and have only used 2 trades so far). Bit worried about my forwards (injuries) but then I suppose I can trade sideways if the injuries get to LT.
