Sorry Cazza, GG’s been flat out this week. I’ve worked every day for the last 3 weeks bar last Sat, have also had girl guides, roller skating classes, scouts, 4 birthday presents I had to organise (girl at work, one of my bosses, my mum and my son), sewing kids costumes for school, my sons birthday was today, currently organising his party gift bags for his birthday party on Sunday. My partners dads birthday next week as well I haven’t even thought about yet, I’m exhausted!! Can’t wait to just sit and watch some footy tonight.

Needing to Win, reckon Buddy has to go.
Can you do Buddy to Sidebum and Broughton to Waters.
Think that is the safer one, Freo play west coast so no guarantee on fyfe and is only second game back
Or if you have the Cash maybe Buddy to Beams and Broughton to Waters, beams seems to be tearing it up, but Sidebum could put in a big one.

How about Ryan O’Keefe has come pretty good over the latter part of the year, maybe even Drew Petrie and Nth play Western Bulldogs. I would say Cyril Rioli being a Hawks Man, but they do play Geelong bit Risky, think there are better options than Fyfe if you have the cash, remember you do need to win.

I don’t have Buddy Franklin. Everyone else in the Top 8 of my league does. So I probably need to add him when he comes back.
I also want to get rid of Stanton this week. I can’t decide between Murphy and Dal Santo/Rockliff, which is an easy decision straight up but is complicated for me by the Buddy situation.
If I go for Murphy over Dal Santo/Rockliff, I need Zorko to score 99+ this week (or not play) to be able to trade him for Buddy next week. If Buddy isn’t back next week, I’d need 99+ (or no play) from Zorko again. If Zorko doesn’t hit the mark, and I’ve added Murphy, the only option budget-wise is Dangerfield for Franklin (or no Franklin, which probably means no premiership).
If I go with Dal Santo or Rockliff over Murphy, I have an extra 20-40k of leeway. That means I can trade Zorko, Sidebottom or Martin for Franklin when he returns. Helpful if Zorko doesn’t hit 99+ this week, plus helpful if Sidey or Martin get injured.
So, all of that considered…

I (‘The Eggenaught’) am currently sitting at 5th on the ladder as you can see. The top 4 is locked in and no one else can challenge for the eight as well.
This week i play the top team who i believe i can beat as i had a terrible start but am now going strong. Number eight on the ladder (Hot Toddy Sauce) is an unbeatable team and i want to try to avoid him in the first week of finals. Both Supercoached stars and Richothegreat are assured wins this week.
Would it be wise to effectively forfeit this week by playing stars on the bench to then try to come 6th and avoid playing Hot Toddy Sauce?
