  1. Lost my main one by 55 pts but won an unexpected one by 350. Bittersweet moment for me. I’ll improve next year

  2. Successful in all ventures this week lads, even got up over the Scrotom Scratchers in a SCT DT nuffies final.

Swan as captain got me home in the end in 3 SC GF’s sadly missed out on my cash league but a bit of Silverware is still nice.

More pleased with the fact the Power showed a bit of heart today, and were very unlucky to not get the win.

Have a wonderful break lads and see you all in a few weeks.

  3. Won one GF. In mr GG’s brothers nuffies’ league GF. That’s it. Says it all really. Lost everything else.

Had alot of fun with Motts at the footy this arvo. Go sainters!!

Onwards and upwards next year! 🙂

  4. Fell at the final hurdle in 2 Legit GFs and 1 Nuffie GF with a dismal 2093. Too many disappointments to even talk about. Just wanted to give a shout out to David Mundy who was highlighted in The Fallen Premiums Rd16 edition at $377,800 with an average of 79. Would’ve pleased coaches who brought him in with a 117, 129 and 132 in the last 3 weeks of the season. Did anyone take up on that offer?

Biggest regret of the season was not picking up Beams or Dangerfield all year. Lesson learnt for 2013 I guess. Look forward to seeing you all back here in a couple of months. Preseason will be around the corner before we know it, but for now the focus goes onto Fantasy EPL as a distraction in the offseason.

  6. 2x Losing Preliminary Finalist,
    1x Losing Grand Finalist.

Not bad for my second year, I suppose, but it would have been nice to pick up at least 1 Premiership. Always next year, and I’ll the advantage of this wonderful site from before Rd1 2013.

  7. I’d like to humbly accept the tile as LoEC premiers.

Firstly, well done to my Andy on also making the finals. In such a highly competitive league, just to make the final is a real achievement.

I’d also like to give a shout out to Don Cottagers on his superb season. While you may have lost in the prelim your overall score of top 150(ish) is something i know i’ll be striving to beat next season.

To Motts, Duck, Big Sexy and Nath, thanks for all the hard work on the best, most professionally run SC site that is known to man.

Thanks to all the other regulars for making SC more than just a data based fantasy football game. There are too many to name of you to name but people like MJ, Matteo, Fish, Hugh, Gimme, Cazza, i could go on ……. thanks!!

To my players, i’m bloody proud of you all. Even spuds like you Dustin Martin!!

To my captain and fearless leader GAJ, well done little master, you’ve lead the boys well.

Dangermouse, we’ve gone through a lot of tough times together over the last few years. I knew you had it in you. I knew you would become an elite AFL midfielder. Well done, you’re a star!! Beamsy, i’l chuck you on that same bracket too mate.

Mummy, you came in when you bottomed out and had question marks all over you but boy you delivered on the big stage.

And a special mention to Dayne Zorko. I got rid of you a few weeks back. IT was a tough call but i just felt we needed to move in separate directions. I said i’d give you a shout out if i got to the point but little did i know that you’d assist me, your old coach, in the GF by throwing in a stinker just to help me get over the line. I’ll repay the favour and will strongly consider redrafting you next season.

And finally to you Lance. Many questioned why i stuck with you. Many questioned why i kept you through the dark times. Sitting there in the coaches box on Friday night in that sparkling first quarter of yours i knew i’d made the right call in keeping you in the team.

To all the others, well done on a steller season. You all played your role in getting us to this point of the journey. Have a few weeks off lads, enjoy the celebrations and we’ll regroup for a crack at another LoEC title next year.

  8. 2033 / GAJ. Haha, bad week to have such a shocking score, but such is life! Even if Cloke & T.Adams were on the field rather than sitting as E’s on the pine i don’t think i would have won any of my 5 major GF’s. Only correct call i made was Ellis over Lake as Def E.
Congrats to Roo Bloke for his convincing win over me in the LoEC1 GF. I am sure he will be dissapointed with his 2196 after he also copped D.Martin score & Carrots withdrawal, but at least he picked up the league title in such a tough league. Well done again RB & thanks to everyone else in that league – i really enjoyed it & getting up into the top 50 leagues shows how competitive it was.
Final thanks to the SCT admin fellas – best SC site by a country mile.

Won the GF by 74 points, if Carrots was never a late out, I wouldn’t of got the 80 Emergency score from Dempsey and therefore would of lost, that was my only bit of luck and it was enough.

My best year on SC thanks to this site, probably only time I took it a bit more seriously haha, a decent 2140 average and only lost 1 game since Rd 12 in the main league I was playing in. (which dragged me up from 14th on the ladder to 6th)

You’re all a bunch of top blokes and the guys who run this site are gods amongst men. Thank you good sirs, see you next year.

Was in 5 top 8 grand finals, and managed 3 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss. Yep, a draw!
I finished on top of him… so i guess i’ll claim the win then? 😉
After 2500 + the last couple of weeks, this score was a little disappointing when it most mattered, but i’m happy enough with how things panned out.

Anyway, it’s been another great year of supercoach! Thanks to Motts, BS, Duck, Nath and everyone who posts on this site to make it a valuable site to everyone lucky enough to have found it!

  11. F U Neil Craig, didn’t go near Danger this year after being burnt by him for the last 3 years in a row. Next year pencil in a name Beams, Claye. Now I’ll set my sights on Star Stable EPL and NFL

Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful site in their own special way (Deano 😉 ) hope everyone has a great off-season and make sure you bring your A game come next year 😆 😛 😀

    Cheers,

Counting DT as well I was in 6 GF’s and lost them all, except this one, which makes it extra sweet, better luck next year Motts!

  14. 2444/GAJ Won 3 of 3. Fyfe, Swan, Kreuzer and Mitchell got me over the line as PODs, and Lewis, Martin, Carrazzo and Sam Shaw made it more stressful than need be. Was regretting reversing my Lake to Scott Thompson (NM) trade and going with Suckling last minute but it could have been worse.

Thanks to everyone on SCTalk for the help and entertainment throughout the season!!

My second year in SC. Won 3 of 4 legit GFs, lost the other by 29pts. Granted, I had a little luck in one GF, with my opponent having Judd, Yarran and Carrots (w/ no cover). Particularly satisfying as this opponent went the entire season undefeated.

This week has taught me to go with instinct more than anything. With one trade left, I was torn between trading Smurf for Swan and Giles for Sandi, but in the end opted for Jacobs over Giles… d’oh.

Thanks to all for your contributions throughout the year, and see you next season.

  23. 2271 / Ablett

Ok, mixed results for me this grand final day. I lost my primary cash league ($50) by 98 points. I’ve been the reigning premier in this league for the last three years and lost to my arch rival, who I’d beaten already in two of the three grand finals. Bout time he bloody won this thing 🙂

I won my cricket club and secondary cash league ($20) by 1 point. Talk about coming down to the wire. Although, admittedly I totally lucked out in this league. My opponent had two trades left and forgot to do his Supercoach team! On grand final week!!! Epic fail. Plus he had Chris Judd (39) in his team, who tore his hammy early in the game. Add to that the fact that The Porps (131) was my emg for Tex Walker. Counting my lucky stars on that one.

I lost the grand final in the league that I set up, to the same opponent I lost to in my 1st cash league. But then also won another grand final to make it 2 / 5 league premierships this year and two 2nd places.

Once again thanx to all who make this site so awesome, from the guys who run it to all the regular contributors (you know who you are).

Enough to get two GF wins over two players who finished top 50 for the season. Happy with that. Also, finished on top of LoEC1 total points ladder for the second year running.

    Overall Ranking: 146
*Second top 150 finish in three seasons (finished 150th two seasons back). Overall, I’d say I’m happy with the season

  27. 2326 isn’t great but it was enough for 2/4 major grand final wins including the all important work league. woot for bragging rights and our work supercoach crown. martin and carrazo cost me the other 2 leagues but eh stoked with the finish to my year. Big thanks to motts, duck, BS and nath, best site on the net hands down. my first year on this site and ive had a PB finish by a long way. cheers to all the regulars who post esp MJ for the fallen premiums they were awesome and i hope they return next year. Enjoy the offseason folks 😀

  28. Came home with a wet sail winning just two of my five GF’s. My team has averaged 2500+ for the past five weeks but could not manage six. Under performing premiums along with injuries and withdrawals hurt my score as it did many others. But overall I am happy with the season. It just goes to show you need everything to go right to win the premiership.

A big thank you to the SCT community for your advice and banter throughout the year. Priceless.

PS. I may yet have a little good news depending upon the result of the SCTTL GF.

  29. 2 grand final wins from two so can’t complain. Pretty ordinary score though so I ended up dropping out of the top 1% to top 2%. Oh well. Still had my best SC year to date so look out next year!!

Big thanks to SCTalk for all the wisdom! See you all next year!

  30. Won all 5 Grand Finals with a 2,315 over scores ranging from 2,219 to 2,311

No thanks to Carrots, S Shaw, Lake, Martin and Lewis

Thanks to everyone at SC Talk

  31. Made the GF in 4 out of the 5 comps I was in so was pretty chuffed just with that. My main league against my mates was the most important one and I took that out largely due to the decision to bench Goodes and play Cloke. 159 vs 69 says that was a good decision. 2445 the winning score.

I didn’t think I would win the other three GFs due to the standard of my opponents but I managed to win them as well. Think all three had run out of trades a while back so despite excellent returns throughout the season they might have left themselves short come the finals and they had a doughnut or two come the GF. To my benefit of course.

Motts and crew, thanks very much for running this site and putting all sorts of time and effort into it. Its been an invaluable source to me this year and I’ll certainly be returning early next year to research and contribute for the 2013 season.

  32. shattered coach….a big FU to travis cloke….sat on my bench after riding with him through all his P*** poor performances…loos my league by 100 and having his 156 on the pine while dustin martin scored 19 pts

Made 2 major GFs and 1 minor GF and won them all! Had kept plenty of trades up my sleeves for the finals, but my team was set so I had to force myself to use them. Team value finished at $13,396,900 with $2,600 left in the kitty after doing my last 2 trades. Not bad for someone who refuses to have Ablett in her team!

  34. Won 5/5 major GF’s 🙂
with poor performances by dusty & Yarran I still managed to score 2390.
Will be on the lookout for some challenging leagues next season!

  36. had the most epic final against my brother, was gloating at half time on Friday with Franklin, Mitchell, Natnui blitzing and my bro not having any of them. Came down to me needing 7 points from rockliff to win. My brother was sitting there aiting for Rockliff to get injured and thought that he had lost, both of us missed the fact that carazzo was a late out and neither of us realised until well after the final match that we would get our emergrncies, I got spurr and he got morris, meaning ten point win to him. We had a great laugh over this thriller.

  37. I have a dilemma. I drew with my Grand Final opponent but was declared the winner being higher on the ladder at the end of the home and away. Do I split the prize money equally or not? Would value any input. Thanks for the great site.

  38. Lost one, missed out on one and won two. Had a GF score of 2244 (vs 2227 &2060) which I was really happy with considering I ran with Goodes (I will call him yoyo now..).

If I can pass on any wisdom at all – go into the finals with as many trades as you can, I hit it with four and it made the difference in the end between winning and loosing. Trading up Spurr and Lake to Waters and Enright won me the GF when my opponent had to sit with them.

Well done again this year to the SCT team on a great site with minimal troll activity and everyone contributing in a positive and sometimes p#@s funny way. See you next year.

  39. Made to all 3 GF, won 2. 2 outta three aint’ bad!

Putting Martin on the groaund ahead of Chapman cost me the one that I lost.
