Latest on Wed, 12:14 am: Little SC Gold analyser tells me I'll miss the services of 8 players in round 11, 10 players in round 12 and 12 players in round 13. I think I've stumbled into a nice little structure for the bye rounds. Only a handful of premiums to miss Round 11, and then I can start trading out my rookies when their byes hit.

Glad it was not only me who went Stanton as C!! (never again). When he finished with 81 it was bad enough, however getting marked down to 72 was another kick in the teeth.

I am sorry to say Coniglio’s 38 cost me a SCTTL2 win by just 13pts. What I would give to swap his score for Shiel or Zorko who were warming my bench. Annoying!!

won only 2/5 leagues including an absolute a$$ whipping in LoEC2 by The incredibles by 238 points, my footy team got SMASHED by 10+ goals & I tipped a dismal 5 for the round. Grrrrrrrrrrr!

2098 not happy with my score but won 4/5league matches including a win against a coach that was the undefeated league leader so happy with that.

Rookies-Zorko, D,Smith,OldMac,Horse, More than happy with Zorro’s score he will make plenty of $$$ Smith and oldmac were ok without being great they can be excused being up against the Bombers and not sure what happened to but he looked on track for ton but mustve ran out of legs.

If your team is full of premiums then thats not a problem. I will only have 4 trades once ive fully upgraded my team, but that won’t happen till a few rounds after the bye. You have obviously upgraded early and essentially your just ahead of the pack. Nothing wrong with that, except that most cash cows haven’t peak yet so you probably didn’t get maximum bang for your buck and therefore probably don’t have the top premiums in each position (or maybe you do). But no problem having only 8 trades to cover injuries for rest of the year.

Do it after immediately after Rd11. Priddis will have had his bye, and be at rock bottom price, while Horsley will still have his bye to come and will be nearer to his peak. I’ll probably keep Horsley all season though, and I’ll be upgrading Magner and McDonald soon enough.

Just saw something I haven’t seen in a long time and won’t be seeing for a long time again. Check out the ladder for Supported Club Rankings. Melbourne are on top. It just looks weird.
Also, seven out the eight bottom ranked are the interstate teams (Cmon the Big V!) with the Giants last and the Suns second last. Seems they’re players aren’t the only noobs to the game.

Cloke is gone, over his pathetic performances. He should be playing in their 2′s…..maybe. I don’t care how much money I’ll have to spend to get another premium. I’m over him. Now that I got that outa my system it was a pretty poor week for me really. Getting 2486 last week and bringing in zorko and Scotland who strengthen my side a little really I had high hopes. I know guys will inevitably have flat weeks but this same team last week would have got me 2568 but this week crept across the line in 4/5 games with 2074. I was going to trade up a ruckman and a forward this week but I think I may be in more trouble down forward than I first thought.
So…. Suggestions for 2 premium forwards. I have buddy, danger and Martin as prems with treloar Adams and zorko on the park and smedts and pfeiffer on the bench. Adams and cloke are the 2 I will be trading this week. With their price adding up to around 660k plus the 400k I have in the bank I have enough to consider many options.
Suggest 2 key forwards for me please guys

since they’ll be your only 2 round 12 bye players i think there’s absolutely no issue with that. and regardless chappy has the same bye as the collingwood boys so getting him won’t make things any different. if you go with the 2 collingwood boys you’ll have 3 out round 11 3 round 12 and 3 round 13, but you’ll be able to trade around the round 12 and 13 donuts since all 3 in those weeks arent premiums…if that makes sense. so one donut all up in the fwds provided all your players play. i’d think of that as a win

2224 for me. Back up to 332 overall. Annoyingly I am not the highest overall ranked player in four of my five leagues. That may have something to do with the fact that one of my leagues is ranked 4th overall, with the top scorer 21st.
On my front, let down by a few, but only Malceski and Rockliff need naming. Time to bring in Dal Santo this week to bolster the midfield stocks…

Another disappointing week. Finished with 2079, moving virtually nowhere in the overall rankings at ~26,000th. Been stalled there for 3 weeks.
Perhaps what is more devastating though is the 1 point loss I received to the hands of AndyB in LoEC1. With Zorko (my only POD remaining) needing to achieve 84 to tie the game, it was always going to be against the odds. I watched the North V Brisbane game with one eye on the TV and one on my phone, tracking young Dayne’s score. It was looking grim at 3QTR time, with the 3rd gamer needing to pull 38 points in the final quarter to level the scores. As if he knew I was counting on him, Zorko put on an inspired last quarter, piling on a massive 37 points! 1 short of a draw, and 2 short of victory. It’s a tough life, but I came away from the game proud of the young man nonetheless.
Now sitting at 2-5, the boys will have to pull out something special in the second half of the season to give ourselves a chance of finals football.

Waters has Rnd 11 bye whereas Morris has Rnd 13 bye. Just saying that picking Waters up in Rnd 12 after his bye would make more sense. Morris’s BE is not that bad this week.
