  1. 2138.

Not to bad considering all the injuries and the couple of donuts i got this week.

Hopefully i don’t fall to far back on the overall rankings *85th overall

I’ll let you guys know where I’m at tomorrow morning, might concede a few spots.

  3. 1956 with Dangerfield and 17 points from Dev Smith subbing for Porpoise, to come.. Was 1300th odd overall, expect I’ll drop a few spots. Although seems list of people had a shocker!

  4. Hope you’re right Crab. Made a terrible trade decision this week, bringing Ziebell in for Magner. Of course JZ scores 50 and JM 76.

  6. 22/2120/Pendles
Was on target for possibly 2250+ early on but got let down by a few premiums, and low scores from one or two rookies, all up happy with the score I got though 🙂

    Very happy with…..
Dangerfield, GWS rookies, Boyd, Pendles, Deledio

Would have liked a bit more from…..
    Goodes, Adcock

    Expected a lot more from……
    Kreuzer, Goddard, Bartel, Franklin

    Rest had pretty standard scores

Won 5/5 league matches, sitting in the top 8 for all of them, in the top few and undefeated in a couple of the leagues.
(3/5 leagues are made up with mostly SCTers)

Been looking at some scores others got and hoping I can move up a fair bit in the rankings when they are released tonight, currently sitting 19,127 in my rookie season 🙂

  7. Guys, I know that I shouldn’t burn two trades at this stage but I’ve gone 0-3 so I need to act. Plus the appeal of pendlebury in the discount bin is too much to resist.

I have 91k in the skyrocket. To do this I am trading out Shaw and clay Smith. Assuming pendlebury goes for 600k, I have to pick a cheap defender to choose.

I am thinking either Paine, Neale or Wilkes. (OR DELANEY as a doughy.

Can you steady my ship in these rough water. (Only got 1858)

  8. Filthy had 4 starters out. But managed 1980 so i suppose not all that bad sweating on the outs in: Goldstein, A.Kennedy, Bower, Mohr. With Dempsey on the bench too.

Any news on Goldstein is he is injured, noticed he didn’t play in the twos at all?????

somehow managed to win 3 out of 4 leagues,

great win by the eagles after a tough game last week i thought we would get over-run just like the hawks did!

    GO EAGLES!!!

  10. 2001. Disgusting.
Naitanui continues to amaze me with his consistency. Has not yet scored below 100. Why oh why didn’t I pick him over Cox!?

  12. Very happy with 2320 after sub 45s from Devon smith, hampton, Conca and Ellis.

Big thanks to my premos who apart from Franklin all scored +85 and plenty of over 110s. So happy to see Deledio come back on.

    B+: Nobody
    B: McDonald, Magner

  14. Guys just have a question if i had both Morris and Eliss as emergencies, i should get the highest score out of the two of them right? I checked my score and it turns out that i got Ellis score who scores 15 points less..

  15. 2078 and a win in SCTTL. Only real let down was a 17 from Devon.(Missus team)
My team:1945 and 4 wins from 5 including a win in SCT LOEC2 and a loss by 10 points in another league.Had Porps, Smedts and Devon in that one.

  16. Thinking I will get the dunces hat this week. Very, very ugly.

1661. One donut. Yes you read correctly. Disgusting. Needless to say I lost all 4 games. Lost by 313 pts to the boss. Only players from this team I’m happy with (this round) are: Lids, Bugg, Pendles, NDS, Shiel, Cripps, Pavlich & Martin. Magner did really well despite the mid range score. Goddard as Captain was a huge mistake on my part. My heart said beforehand NDS/head said Pendles. Argh.

1820 for SCTTL. Happy with Lids, Bugg, Clarke, the entire midfield (665), especially pleased with new recruits Hayes (130) and Maric (the mullet, 103) and Christensen.

Thank god my actual footy team got the 4pts. More pain to come this week though, we’ll be lucky to lose by 50 points against the hawks on Sat if they start the 1st half of the game as they did last night.

Back to the drawing board 🙁

  17. Round just got worse and worse.
1756 – Played 5 short with Ablett, Birchall, Sandi, Shaw & Porplyzia missing from my starting side.

Fortunately had Swan as Captain with saved me from total disgrace. But not selecting Shiel as my emergency for Ablett correctly cost me 2 league wins.

    Long way back from here.

  18. 2319 having made late change to remove Cameron from the field and replace him with Smith, grrrr.

2002 in SCTTL2, one doughnut, prob should be happy with that looking at a few other scores.

Watched my Hawks go down was dissapointing, but credit where it’s due and Sydney played their game, we were a little off and Goodes is a star!

  19. Hird of Me? – 2006
Not too bad compared to others, but copped a donut for the Porpoise.
    2/4 league wins.

A+: Pendlebury ,Rockliff, Murphy, Cameron, Bugg, Giles, Delidio,
A: Sidebottum, Lake, Selwood, Magner, Martin,
    B+: Mcdonald

    C+:Golby,
    C: Hale

  21. Looking at my league score the only people who would’ve done well this round are those who ahve spudded it up in rnds 1-4. I will be curious to see how this effects my 3000th overall spot.

    1917 with Swallow as captain.

    * GAJ and Shaw missed
    * 2 fwd doughnuts (what happened to the porps?)
    * 1 def red vest (Ellis) and 1 fwd red vest (Smith)

Stoked with Dangerfield (141), Deleidio (129) and Martin (112) lifting this afternoon to make the score less terrible. Also happy with my rucks of Giles (114) and McEvoy (106) plus Shiel (84) finally lifting to an acceptable standard.

Please come back Gary. We need you!!

  22. Won dirty against Motts in LoEC1 this week… S.Jacobs needed to score within 34 of Dangermouse for me to win, and pulled out a massive 122 !

My midfield could be destroyed next week, as Ablett (injured), Swallow and Selwood (possible suspensions) could all be out.

  24. 2 words to describe my round….ABSOLUTELY THE WORST ROUND I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! I spudded it up with 3 doughnuts, a 3 from Smedts, 17 from Smith and the rest of my side just plain sucked ass to give me 1632. The only good thing from the weekend is that I pulled a multi for a return of 450.

  25. Still undefeated in all four leagues, won by only 3 points in the SCT champions league though with a fairly average 2014 with a doughnut in the ruck and a 17 from smith.

Have Ablett, sandilands, shaw to come in when ready. Need another ruck to replace redden and big o, who should I go for?

  26. angRY ANgus – 1786 with 1 zero and 2 red vest..
A+ – Lids, Murp, Danger, Bugg, Joelwood and giles
    A – Goodes, Shiel
    B+ – Lake, Suckling
    B – Magner, Pfeiffer
    C+ – Stanton, Buddy
E – Smith, Tomlinson, Whitecross (regret trading him in 47 – 61 in 2 games) Mitchell, Morris, Ellis, Mummy (for not playing) and God..

2 trades this week. Mummy for either Maric or cheaper ruckman and then upgrade either coniglio, smith, shiel or magner to PENDLES which will leave my mids (Stanton, Joelwood, Gazza, Murph, Mitchell, Pendles and rookie)

  27. Agree worst round ever. 1752 including 4 donuts and 17 from d Smith. Here’s hoping can regroup next week although not looking good.

no solace in the footy results either with hawks going down.

    Oh the humanity.

  29. Swan capt, sidebum, fyfe, duffield, murhpy, broughts. Looking good should crack 2200.

Oh wait I forgot: Goddard, buddy, smedts, porps – smith, one 0 in the rucks, ellis subbed off, morris goes down from his 3qtr time score.
1990 first score under 2000 really p*ssed off.

Please Shaw and Sandilands play this week, GAJ would help too. Thanks.

  30. I thought last week was carnage, this week was worse. Four donuts on the field really hurt (3 were late withdrawals – Birch, Hargrave, Porp). Also in the dog house – Goddard, Buddy, D.Smith (sub but with poor DE), and M.Primus for not selecting J.Redden. Bring on next week!

I am really happy with Dusty (although I would have liked more time on the ball in the last quarter) and I wish I had the guts to pickup Cotchin from the start. He is a gun! Also pleased with my rookies, Bugg and Toby Green in particular deserve a mention. BTW I know Magner has been dubbed the Barlow of 2012 but maybe that is premature … Magner avg 79 while Bugg avg 84.

Lastly well done Goodsey on a great day. If this is your slow start I cannot wait to see your second half of the year.

  31. 1957/Boyd

Wowie! So much carnage. Injuries to left of us, red vests to the right, and here we all are stuck in the middle. 😥 Its a long time since I had a sub 2000 score, probably back to my rookie days. I can’t take anymore in game injuries. This week it was the Eski. FFS. Where will it end?? I can’t remember ever how so many in game injuries in so few rounds. 😡

Amazingly, managed to sneak past RB in the LOEC1, and beat the top team in my cash league (who WAS ranked 36) rather comfortably in the end.

    Ratings:

A+ = Lids, Bugg, Boyd, Dangermouse,
A = Duffield, Joelwood, McEvoy, IMaric, Sidebum, Dusty,
    A- = Bradbert,
    B+ = Magnet, JMc,
    B = Crapps
    B- = Milera,
    C+ = Morris, Buddy,
    C = Treloar
    D+ = Goddard,
    Inj = Eski,
    Vest = Smedts, Devon,

Carrots >> Pendles this week, after I assess the extent of this weeks carnage. Concerns are the Eski, GAJ, Joelwood, Porpoise, AKennedy, Mohr and Dempsey.

The Hawks lost. Average weekend on the punt. Bring on next week.

  32. Devon Smith with a break even of 60…
Time to get rid of him? Or wait for him to get this sub affected game out of his system?

  33. So with Franklin having a BE of 157 he can spud it up again next week, drop to under 500k and the 35% of the SC world that don’t have can get him in.

  34. 1993 , preparing to put on the parachute was 310 last week overall, to scared to look this morning, Goddard as captain was a disaster street having Stanton as vice, Smedts and Smith wetter also scoring emergencies

  37. Not quite sure how i pulled of 2000, with buddy, goddard sub-par; McGylnn hopeless and Mumford, Yarran, Porplyzia all late withdrawls, not to mention both Billie Smedts and Devon Smith being the much maligned sub.

Also did I hear that gaj was on the training track?

  40. 1929/Pendles (Loophole)

Didn’t cover myself in glory this week… GAJ returning could help quite a lot but may look to cash in on some rookies now that the breakevens are out of the minuses!

Would love Mohr, Kennedy and Hall to get a few games under their belts though!
