James who? I’d never heard of him but according to his bio on the Cats website he’s …
One of the standout players in the VFL in recent seasons, Podsiadly gets a long overdue chance at VFL level. Even though he is 28, he has been a dominant key forward in the VFL and it would not surprise if he were given an opportunity in the AFL. Was on Essendon’s rookie list in 2000 and Collingwood’s in 2002.
His other notable achievements for 2009 include, Best & Fairest, 68 goals and member of VFL team of the year. You can hear more about him on the Podcast at The Coaches Box.
He’s no spring chicken at 28 but for$83,400 he could be a guy to have sitting on the bench in your FWD line.
Any and ALL suggestions for under $100k players are welcome in the comments below.
