JLT Game Chat – Dockers v Pies

Written by Motts on March 4 2017

COLLINGWOOD is set to see a host of its stars play for the first time this year, with captain Scott Pendlebury, Adam Treloar, Taylor Adams and Brodie Grundy all named to face Fremantle thisย afternoon.

However, recruit Daniel Wells and injury-prone forward Jamie Elliott have been left out as he continues to battle a troublesome calf.

For the Dockers, who will play host at Rushton Park, Lachie Neale and Aaron Sandilands will take to the field after missing against West Coast last week.

Neale had multiple surgeries in the off-season after going under the knife for his shoulder, knee and wrist, while Sandilands had been kept out by a calf issue.

Last year’s No.8 selection Griffin Logue will have to wait before he takes to an AFL field for the first time.

    1. He’s actually played pretty well in the 2.5 quarters I was able to watch.

Taps to advantage and involved in goal scores. However, it was 40’C, so not sure whether they were all just running around unopposed.

I’d say we need to see another run and with the 3rd game cut back on rotations, I’m sure we’ll see a mucher clearer picture.

      1. If they can play AFL in 40 degree heat, then surely this is proof enough that the football season should run all year round?

  4. Thought i’d share how to play games in large screen from the afl app. All you need is chrome cast.

In the chromecast ‘home’ app on mobile or tablet, there is an option to ‘cast screen’, which will stream anything that comes on your device to your tv. After this, simply open the afl app and play the match. I get great quality. If you have a telstra mobile the afl subscription is free. Dont pay the ridiculous price for foxtell, football is meant to be free and watchable.
