JLT Game Chat – Power v Tigers

Written by Motts on March 5 2017

Port Adelaide star Robbie Gray will play his first game for the year against Richmond at Malseed Park tokay.

Gray, who was was ‘managed’ in last week’s loss to Saints, is joined in the team by Nathan Krakouer, Jarman Impey and Aidyn Johnson despite the trio being unavailable to play in round one.

Neither of Brad Ebert or Aaron Young were named after they both played against the Saints.

Alex Rance will line up for Richmond after overcoming hamstring tendinitis.

However, Dion Prestia will miss the clash after he was unscathed in his Tigers debut versus Adelaide last Friday. Prestia was restricted in his pre-season training after knee surgery ended his 2016 season at Gold Coast early. Bachar Houli was left out as he deals with a hamstring injury.

  3. As a Richmond Supporter, I am very happy with Nankervis.
With Ivan Maric getting a lot older and now he has more of a player and coaching role, and with Shaun Hampson’s injuries continuing, I’m expecting to see a lot of Nankervis this year, and he will be in the 22 quite a bit. He has looked very good in the JLT as a hit out ruckman, as a tall midfielder (gets high possessions for a ruck) and also a forward.
For only 366k, he could be a great pick up and maybe a new stef martin?
