ADELAIDE defender Graham Johncock has broken a thumb and will be sidelined for four matches.
Johncock was selected last night in the Crows’ team to take on Fremantle on Sunday, but suffered swelling in his thumb after training.
Tests on Friday confirmed Johncock had broken a thumb, a club spokesman said.
The Crows have had a horror run with injuries over summer, with Brett Burton (knee), Chris Knights (foot) and Jason Porplyzia (groin) already unavailable for Round 1 and Andy Otten (knee) out for the season.
Johncock has been replaced by Jarrhan Jacky in Adelaide’s 25 man squad for their away clash with the Dockers.
