Juice In The Tank

Written by Motts on May 23 2011

We’re now over a third of the way into the season. Assuming you haven’t made any trades this morning (and God help you if you already have) how many do you have left right now?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  3. 13 left and $400k in the kitty. 2988 overall. Will most likely trade this week

    Toy to Adcock
Higgins to … anyone really. Looking at GAJ,Priddis or Swan.

    Or

    Tapscott to Chappy or ROK
    Higgins to….same as above

A little undecided ATM. Any help from the masses would be appreciated.

  4. 14 and 443,100 in the bank.

If I Smith doesn’t play I’ll upgrade Higgins this week but to who I’m not so sure… mad if GAJ isn’t considered by most soon.

  5. 16 left, using 2 this week.

    Tapscott to Smith/Mezungu

And as a result of very poor form and lost patience, Burgoyne out for either Pav, Pendles or GAJ. Can’t keep carrying him.

  6. 18 left, looking at trading out Tapscott this week for I Smith or Mzungu. Also considering bringing in Hodge, cheap as chips and has GC in the all important league grand final.

Brisvegas, Melbourne and Adelaide are all good pickups for League focussed teams. No league byes for any of them, and all playing GC during the finals series. Perhaps Big J Brown if he proves himself against a solid team?

On another note; ‘carn the Tiges, I’ll be singing the song everytime I get home this week for the benefit of my Dons supporting housemate.

  7. 14 remaining, however only 70,000 in bank and need to get rid of Tapscott as problems occurred and I now have no bench in the forward line. :/ I also have Garland with Gram as back up… Hopefully he isn’t dropped again.

  9. Who rated Mzungu’s first up game? I didn’t see it.

And did Higins injure himself?? I’m dirty I didn’t follow my instincts and trade him last week!

  11. 15 left

    This week
    Toy – Jacobs
Then Swallow – S. Thompson/Hodge OR Higgins – Franklin/Ablett/Boyd (Last two if I bring him up to mids)

    What do we think?
Time to trade Swallow for the in form Thompson about to jump further in price or Hodge (Thumbs Up)
Or trade Higgins, who I would like to keep as a premium all year but not if he isn’t gonna play enough, for Franklin/Ablett/Boyd (Thumbs Down)

  13. Tapscott could be back in 2 or 3 weeks and that has ade me think otherwise of my Tappy>>May trade,
Matera has found himself on the chopping block…..I won’t need a backup forward because if Tappy is back in 2, then he’ll be back before any of my forwards have a bye, still leaves me with good bench coverage, and I’d rather have Tapscott replacing then Matera in a few weeks time….

  15. 14 trades remaining (170k cash)

Currently on 17 premiums and looking to bring in 3 more in the next month. So by the time I reach 8 trades left my team should be pretty much complete at 20 premiums.

Heppell,Lower and Darling looks like keepers so far.

  17. 14 and using maximum trades for next 3 weeks. I will then have a full premium team (including Darling and Heppell) and i will stop trading for a while and aim to use only 2 ,ore before finals allowing me to have 6 trades for finals.

    Good Plan- thumbs up
    Bad Plan- thumbs down

  19. knew i should have dumped higgins earlier for pav, most injury prone human. so gonna have to wait as lynch and jacobs r great downgrade options, dont think I should pass that up. so maybe get lynch for tappy instead of losing matera itleast he will play next few weeks. and either batch or toy for jacobs. have z smith covering sandi for the month, need to stay on sandi he will be important towards the later part of the season. as soon as there r no real downgrade options in the next few weeks I will have wicked amount of cash to bring in pav and whoever for other upgradesn 🙂

  20. who to upgrade broc mcauley for??? i have sandi but lose him for 4 weeks. but i do not have cox as my 2nd ruckmen have been rolling with bellchambers and smith so far….i think i need to get some scoring punch to cover sandi loss.

who would you guys go with cox, mummy, otten? have 350k in the kitty

  21. What about some crazy thinking, since i have Petrie and Smith on ruck bench, mayby i could trade down Sandi for Bailey or Vardy and take the whopping 450 k and use it for upgrades and then get sandi back when he comes back from injury. And Sandi could also not play aswell after is injury.

    Good idea- thumbs up
    Terrible- thumbs down

  23. Assuming Tapscott returns who would be better to trade for NRoo, Tapscott or Matera? I have sufficient bench cover to hold Tapscott.
