Kelly v Lake

Written by Motts on August 3 2010

Here’s an interesting one for you. On YTD averages, Lake (110.67) would appear to have it all over Kelly (102.31) but things start to tighten up a bit when you look at how they’re going lately. On the last 3 games its 115.33 vs 123 in Kelly’s favour. Pricewise Kellyย wins it as well: $546k to $582. So if you were looking at bringing a gun into your backline right now, which one would it be?ย

Which DEF downgrade option should come into the TEAM this week?

      1. DPP doesnt mean to much when u dont have players that can do it. My situation, with only one trade left and i had the coin to get either, id pick Lake.

  1. Kelly for me, plays in the middle and racks up heaps of tackles during a game. Lake has been awful with his disposal at times resulting in a fistful of clangers.

  2. Geelong plays Collingwood and the Doggies in the next two weeks. As SC scores seem to be effected by the results, IF you think Geelong will win both then sure go Kelly but if you are unsure maybe look elsewhere. Just my take on the matter. Probably can’t go wring with either though. Wish i had one of them!!

  3. Was Kelly the dude in the changerooms before the game with the sore knee? Or was that Corey? If Kelly is injured I’d go with Lake.

    1. Do you mean Kyle Hardingham? If so, then I think he’ll play out the year. I don’t know who Harwood is.

    2. Yeah I’d be surprised if Hardingham didn’t play the rest of the year, provided the revolving door doesn’t continue at Windy Hill
