by Motts on March 7, 2011

Its the battle of the Sydney midfielders. Both expected to take further strides in 2011. Who gets your nod?

J. Selwood ($573,200, 117.8) v J. Bartel ($497,000, 102.1), which one would you pick. Both can hit the ton week in week out, but your saving $76K if you take the latter.

Good poll Motts….. I saw some debate over who to put Kennedy against…. and when it wa crunch time to vote, I picked Hannebery….. making me think getting caught up in the Kennedy vortex is a good thing, especially given I did have in my side a couple of weeks ago.

I like them as players, but is anyone seriously looking at picking either? I might be wrong, but seems like there’s maybe $100K of appreciation in either bloke, yet can’t see much more than 90′s out of them.

Alex, I see ur point, and can say that I wont be selecting either play in my team. Having said that, I can see Kennedy being a decent 4th or 5th midfield option.
I just happen to think there is better value/potential out there, which includes Higgins, Dangermouse, Foley, Masten & Sylvia. A number of which are also DPP, which has even more importance this year than last.

I’m with you guys. I won’t have them. Maybe ‘cos I missed the Swans’ NAB Cup games, but there’s more compelling picks elsewhere imo.
