Goldstein should kill it for the next 4-6 weeks, especially at his price, but what happens after that? Back to 70-80s when having to share ruck duties with H Mac?
Maric $100,000 more but seems a more solid choice come the business end of the season. I’ve already had to trade 3 times for my premium ruck so want the best long-term option so that I don’t have to trade again.

personally i have kruez, gilies and redden already….so im goin to sacrifce 1 ruck spot and use the 500k from mcintosh to upgrade the likes of Bugg/Smith/Trelor when the time comes.
although im not overly happy with relying on those 3 in the ruck department i just think they are likekly to still score between 70-100 each week (maybe not redden)
but the joys of seing Ablett back in my midfield thanks to H-mac $$$ will satisfy me with having a ruckman short

Agree with your point Grinter once HMac is back Goldy will go back to 70-80 scores and therefore for the run home he isn’t a good pick up. Maric will smash it second half of season with Tigers having a much easier run second half of fixture.
On a side note Aaron Black should play these 6-8 games while HMac is out which should mean a good price rise in that time. He is a lil expensive for a downgrade target ($178K) but could score well having a first up score of 85. He will be on my radar.

The whole Darley thing is driving me nuts. Currently have traded Morris out for Darley and then possibly Hall will go for Sexton depending on teams tonight.
In all honesty I wouldnt mind keeping Morris but there just aint any downgrade targets in the next few weeks and I need to cash for upgrades next week

Really torn with the idea to get stevie J in, capable of super super scores, but has mediocre games every know and then, i have sidebottom in my forward line, so i dont think i want beams in there, which is why im thinking about stevie J. Any Opinions?

Yeah I thought about Stevie J but he’s only had 3 games over 100 and his 2 big games have been when Selwood was out in round 6 (169 v Melbourne) and then last week when Kelly was out (146). Has been in good form but I think Chappy, Zaha, Robinson are safer options.
He’ll probably score 200 against GWS this week though!

If there is someone in your forward line you want to trade out as they have hit there price peak ie A Kennedy or Porps, then move Smedts forward and trade them to someone like Birchall or Lake ect. This will mean you save a donut but also you dont have two players on your back bench that won’t be getting consistent games. Otherwise trade Smedts to Darley getting a lil cash and saving a donut and someone who should score alright but again JS isn’t the best. Otherwise just ride it out because no matter what your going to get a donut and then probably lose unless you have an easy opponent.

You can do that, otherwise trade someone like Porps and on that trade screen you can substitute Porps into the backline for Smedts and then trade Porps into Lake or someone else.

Trade out say Kennedy (or whoever) from your forward line, you then put Smedts into forward line which will leave a vacancy in your backline who can fill with whatever defender you like or can afford.

I’ve changed my mind about 10000 times this week on what to do and am still no closer to making a final decison and I’m asking for some help.

I’m tossing up whether to make 2 trades this week which would be
Coniglio > JPK
Porpus > Beams/Robinson
or one trade
Coniglio > Ablett
My theory with the Ablett trade is that I definitely want him by the end of the year but I could get JPK/Boyd/Watson/Swan as my last midfield trade and could make a choice at round 12 (Will be trading out Horsley for my final Mid upgrade) depending on price/form/injuries. But I’m still not sold that Ablett is 100% fit after last week and therefore may have another couple of terrible games where he only get 110-120 and I could make him my final upgrade for $50k cheaper than what he currently is.
Sorry for the longwinded message but it’s been going through my head all week and I really need help (with this trade and with my supercoach addiction).

That’s a pretty handy problem you have there…your team is coming along very nicely. The way I see it, if you have a plan to get Ablett in later then go with Option A. Ablett has a high breakeven that while is still very getable isn’t likely given his recent form & he’s playing Collingwood.
Have you though about Sidey over Robo/Beams though?

My plan this week is to do one trade: Coniglio has to go. Now I have two plans which I desperately need help choosing.
Plan A (THUMBS UP): Swap Goddard or Deledio into mid (for time being) and downgrade Congilio to Darley,
Plan B (THUMBS DOWN): Swap Pfeiffer into mid (already have Zorko in mid for M/F DPP) and upgrade Coniglio for Stevie J/Chappy etc.

imo he’ll play more games then not. he will miss games, but all the GWS players will/are.. i’ve had him from the start, which has been kinda frustraing cos ive had no rookies to downgrade too apart from The Boot from Caaaaaarlton this wknd, which i decided to give a miss..

Crap! I got rid of Magnet, who was on the bench, for Sexton and somehow ended up with Sexton on the field and Horse on the bench without an “E”.
To make things worse, I am up against BR&B in LOEC2 and we both have the same projected score of 2452. Whats the chances of Sexton scoring more than Horse?
