    1. Haha u not wrong AS. I feel like the universe doesn’t want me to trade this weekend so Lloyd will have to wait another week.

    1. Plenty of options: Young and Heeney/Walters/Marshall (or Houli/Crouch/Rockliff if you can swing). Even Lynch from Adelaide looks like a decent POD

  1. At the moment I’m starting eight rookies and a donut.
    Do I
T/U trade Moore and O’Brien to plug a couple of holes
T/D save the trades and just cop the crap score and money league losses.

    1. With Setterfield out it has now become seven rookies playing and two donuts.
I think I’ll save the trades and lock myself away to plan next year’s starting team !

  2. I’ve got the full 22 on the park (with 8 rooks on the field) plus a playing emg on every line.
Should I rush out & buy a lotto ticket also?

  3. Matt Crouch now listed as TBC but Pyke is confident he will play next week. I’m not.

    T/U Trade

    T/D Hold

  4. At this stage, will have 11 on field rookies this week, with Williams, Danger & M Crouch on the bench. Decided its time to shake it up, so this is the plan –

OUT – M Crouch & Walsh – don’t think Crouch is going to be a Top 8 mid and Walsh is ready to go
IN – Macrae & J Kelly – this will help boost the premiums playing in R13 and give me 9 playing rookies this week, not much cash but a double downgrade for next week planned.

TU – Don’t mind it at all, trading in 2 premiums is a win in any week, even with 9 on field rookies, which is better than 11
TD – Less extreme option will be to trade out Parker for R Young & either Gibbons/Constable for Macrae. This leaves me with 10 on field rookies.

Would appreciate the thumbs. Plan was always to trade in Macrae & J Kelly, and both with low break evens this week…..

    1. Would like to know to. Need Hatley to get a game so I can trade Lloyd in tonight. Don’t like my chances though

        1. Been thinking hatley couldn’t bribe a game out of the coach at the moment so maybe we risk it with Atley from port. Don’t know what to do.

          0

          4
          1. Atley’s been dropped. Hately will likely leave you struggling through the byes. You need rookies with good JS. He doesn’t have that. And a single price increase just isn’t worth it.

            4

            1. Yeah that’s what I’ve been thinking. Would be nice to get Lloyd in this week but will just have hold fire this weekend.

  5. Getting in Whitfield
Brayshaw & walsh the exact same price same BE but walsh a R14 bye, 3 tons and better avg then Angus. Brayshaw only 1 ton and dreaded R13 bye.
    Im actually considering trading brayshaw

TU: move brayshaw on his cooked
    TD: move on walsh

  6. Feels like the projected score for my non-playing players is nearly as much as for my playing players!

  7. T/u. Drew and constable out for rookie and whitfield

T/d. Constable and ROB out for rookie and macrae

    14

    5
  8. TU – ROB to Grundy (low on round 13 players but I need him asap)
TD – Duursma to Whitfield (upgrade to Grundy after round 13)

  9. Will my score this week be…..

    T/U – Massive flop.

    Or

    T/D – Epic fail.

    Thanks in advance.

  10. Have to double trade to field 22.

T/U Drew and Constable out for Young and Boak (works best for byes)

T/D ROB and Constable out for Young and Neale

    3

    6
  11. Moore, Williams, M Crouch, B scott, WHayes, Danger, Drew.

All sitting on the bench & not playing… fielding 21 scoring players at the moment, not that they are going to score well.

    TU
Trade Moore & Drew for Whitfield & Young?

    TD
Trade Willams & Crouch for Whitfield & undecided 500k player. Desperate time, desperate measures.

    11

    2
  12. Will Constable be a late in?
TU: Yes. Chris Scott loves playing with our emotions and is just having a laugh
TD: No. the chook is cooked

    0

    15
    1. I believe Scott has been informed of how many SC players are filthy with him….that’s the good news.

Bad news is he doesn’t care.

      2

  13. I really need some advice.

Def – Whitfield, Lloyd, Ryan, Williams, Hore, Duursma (Clark, Answerth)

Mid – J Kelly, Cripps, Fyfe, Macrae, Bont, M Crouch, Steele, Gibbons (Hayes, Scott, Stocker)

    Ruck – Gawn, ROB (Bines)

Fwd – T Kelly, Danger, Heeney, Baker, Balta, Petrucelle (Drew, Setterfield)

I need to bench Crouch and Williams this week so I need a trade that gives me as much pts as possible. I think Drew to Young is the best $$ making trade which leaves me with $260k to upgrade with. What’s my best option??? If anyone has suggestions they’d be much appreciated, I’m really stuck.

    1. You’re just a couple grand short of being able to go Duursma -> Hurn, maybe just bank that cash and hold off for this week?

You’ve avoided a donut, which is probably good enough to go up in the rankings this week. Nail your captaincy and play the long game, Henry.

  14. Hately missed the cut again, what’s the chance he’s a late in and kills it and cements his spot in the side for the rest of the year. Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen.

    2

    2
  15. Drew >Young
    Constable >Z Merrett
That will give me 22+ Gibbons or
Stocker on the bench in the mids.
and no cover forward or back. What
    a tough week!

  16. Should I trade O’Brien to Fort? Think he’ll have any js from here on out? The money would allow me to bring in Hurn and still have 130k left over. I need Fort to play though because my loophole is in my defence

    1

    0
    1. I am so torn on this…have gawn/goldy/rob which means two rucks every bye with grundy coming in r14. But fort looks so juicy. ..can wait another week though.

      0

      1
  17. TU: Macrae

    TD: Whitfield

i want both asap but I can only get one now and the other who knows when :/
    whose priority

    5

    2
    1. Who? I’m guessing you mean Rupert Wills?

If so, no. His JS is poor, only got a second game by virtue of a late out. If you need a downgrade option I’d be looking at either Hinge or Young.

      3

      0
  18. Had dodged the donut until setters was dropped.
Upside kept trade plans, fielding only 5 rookies plus the Krispy Kreme.
Early on Hinge and some money for next week.
    Projected 2068
Let the round 10 bye commence

    2

  19. TU: Williams to Hurn, Drew to Balta
TD: Hold Williams, Moore to Young, Duursma to Hurn

(Not enough to trade Duursma to Hurn and Drew to Young [2k short])

    7
      1. The only problem with is is that i’d cop another donut;

TU: Deal with the extra 0
        TD: Trade Moore instead

  20. Boys, lost another one in setterfield meaning I’m looking at a doughnut in the fwd line.

Have cash to upgrade but struggling on who to chose. Currently own danger, boak, dunks, heeney and Kelly.

Trade out Mundy before he went nuts (yep….I know) so not really keen on bringing him back in, especially at &590k.

Any suggestions on who to round out my fwd line? Looking at billings and Walters as underpriced f6’s but open to suggestions!

    1

    0
    1. First off: great forward-line! Well done thus far, Paddy.

As for your F6, how about Jeremy Cameron? Plays Suns and North in the next month, I know he’s a KPP but he’s got a huge ceiling and is in great shape this year. Touch under 500k.

Not a fan of Walters (too erratic) or Billings (tenuous scoring capacity, low ceiling).

      2

      1. Yeah I did have a look at him. I guess this game is about risk reward and he seems the ultimate risk reqsrs player! Will have a long hard thing him and I think he may find his way in tomorrow!

        Thanks for you opinion mate

  21. Ok, again I’m in real trouble and I have no idea how to get this team ready to not get any donuts.

My current team without making a trade
DEF – Lloyd, Laird, Williams, Crisp, Moore, Hore (Lockhart, Ainswerth)
MID – Neale, Cripps, Oliver, Macrae, M. Crouch, Walsh, Stack, Duursma (Constable, Hayes, Scott)
    RUC – Gawn, Goldstein (O’Brien)
FWD – Dangerfield, Dunkley, Daniel, Heeney, Baker, Bolton (Setterfield, Bines)

    Trades left – 19
    Cap – $29k remaining

Not playing – Williams, Moore, Crouch, Constable, Hayes, Scott, Dangerfield, Setterfield and Bines).

I was originally going to trade Constable and Moore out for Merrett and Wills, but with Setterfield out, I’d have a donut in the forward line.

Is there any way that I can make two trade to get 22 players playing this week? And what would be the best options?

Btw, I don’t want any “take a donut for a week” nonsense. I know you might mean well, but I refuse I go through a week with a donut. Absolutely refuse it.

    1. Assuming you don’t have much cash on hand
      Setterfield to Young
Constable to another playing rookie, whether thats a mid or defender is your choice
If you do have cash on hand, one of the above trades could be an upgrade instead.
That should give you 22 on field

      1

      0
    2. You could go a double downgrade
Constable and Setterfield to young and hinge by moving Answerth into the mids.

      Or one up one down
Constable and ROB to Whitfield and young via Bines and Answerth

      2

    3. If what u say is correct the way I see it
      Defence is fine
Midfield trade M.Crouch for playing mid
Forward setters / bines for Young
      And I think you’re done
      Hope that helps

      1

  22. Will be trading Constable and ROB or Young (which gives me a full side) and one of Whitfield or Neale. Whitfield means fielding only one of Answerth & Burgess in Def while both Corbett & Young as Fwd. If I go Neale it is reversed with both Def & one Fwd.

    T/U : Whitfield (90k left)
    T/D: Neale (10k left)

  23. Okay. 2 donuts without trades this week… so I’m thinking

ROB to Boak via Bines and
    Constable to Young via Kelly.

    Thoughts?

    4

    1
  24. I understand I need both players eventually but who would you trade in this week?

    T/U – J. Lloyd or
    T/D – Hurn

    Cheers

    1
  25. Please thoughts I’m just ensuring I field 22 players so….

    D Moore & W Hayes —> T Stewart & R Young

Would have liked to keep both but only way to play 22 on field

    2

    0
      1. Is ROB more likely to go up or down in price this week because to be able to do my planned trades for next week I can’t afford to have him losing money.

        0
  26. Moore to Lloyd (don’t have Hurn) and Duursma (still have Drew) to Young via Burgess? Currently got Williams, M. Crouch and Danger on the bench and I’m playing for ranking…

    TU- Do it
    TD- Look at other trades

    3

  27. 20 trades left, 2k in bank. Should I:

TU: Constable > bewley, bank 200k to upgrade Steele > Neale next week + another downgrade.
TD: Hold, do double trade next week (constable > bewley & Steele > Neale) not allowing additional trade

  28. A few last minute queries
How much will a beer cost at the G tomorrow night?
Will I need to pack my raincoat?
How much is the fine for streaking?

    2

  29. Is brayshaw/walsh too macrae too much of a luxury trade?

TU : do it while macrae is value

TD : hold & upgrade around them first
