  1. I have seven defenders available this week and 20 players in total on field. I cant decide who to field out of Perryman / Berry.

If I put the E or Berry and his score is in the top 18 of my players will I get his score if I move Tom Stewart onto the field in place of perryman? Or will I only get the the 18 highest scores of players on field?

    1. (E) will get subbed on for Stewart and then they work out the top 18. I had Newman on the bench this week with the (E) as I was loopholing him with Ryan. I will now be taking his 89 and benching Ryan for Stewart.

  2. On the basis of going for overall what do you think of the following.

Trade out Grundy, swing Nankervis into the ruck and bring in Lynch (GC). This also gets me to 18 players next week.

I have 12 trades left and need have two premo spots remaining.

    TU: worth it
    TD: not worth it.

    T/D.. T Greene v Carlton.

      1. Thanks Roo bloke.

He is playing GWS this week though.

I’m hoping Sloane avoids the tag and goes 140+

        1. will Saints tag Sloane?? Who would do that in their line up? This would be good to know for the C choice!!

  4. Had the VC on JPK. Not sure if I’ll be taking that one.

Who would be the best option for captain out of these players?

Beams, Adams, Oliver, Murphy, Laird or Fyfe?

    1. How dare Danger have a week off so that we need to make these captain decisions again!!

That is a really tough one Corey. Normally I would say Fyfey, but he hasn’t looked so great, and has been spending quite a bit of time forward.

Given their opposition this week, I would probably go in this order:

Beams or Fyfe, then Murphy, Adams, Oliver, Laird

      1. Sorry for the advice Corey – Laird was simply outstanding tonight.

If you went with Beams or Fyfe, hope they go really well for you.

  5. Who to bring in

    TU: Macrae and Heeney
    TD: Macrae and Lynch (GC)

after these week of games are done obviously

    1. Nope – he is a viable VC option this week I reckon!!

Has been scoring really well since he came back, and they are playing Fremantle at home.

Surely Blakely tags Rocky to test out his shoulder???

  6. I just realised that I left Lloyd and Heeney on the bench in my tech team (I hadn’t logged in since last week). I am…

    TU: A garden variety idiot
TD: A really, really, really stupid idiot, with an IQ of less than 50.

  7. Who to trade out?

    T/u Powel Pepper
    T/d Taranto

Taranto with the bye next week but SPP loses my mid -> fwd link

  8. Final spot in my backline:

    TU: D. Roberton
    TD: Z. Williams

Money is not an issue; Roberton having already had his bye is a big plus, although his recent form is concerning.

    1. They were replacing Otten, so a decision had to be made before 7:50 AEST. I ended up going with Williams – if you ignore the first six rounds of the season, Roberton is no better than him, plus Williams has the prospect of some midfield time in the short term.

      1. Interesting, given the Rd13 bye next week where premiums are short already. Williams will also need to average 5 more for the rest of the season to give you more total points.

        1. Yeah, that’s true. It was, regrettably, a decision that I had to make in a very short timeframe. I’d been planning to go with Roberton for a while, but cooled on him after taking a closer look at his stats. Time will tell whether I made the right call.

Having said that, my premium situation next week isn’t too bad, so the bye issue might not be as big of a factor for me as it is for other people.

          1. He faded towards the end. I have been eyeing him off too but am starting to drift back off. He’s on a 5 game average of 94 now his 3 game hot patch is long gone and think he’ll come back to the pack. May have dodged a bullet pending Brown’s injury too, would have to play more lock down if he misses.

  9. Have 19 players available this week

    5 onfield defenders
8 onfield mids +Cousins on bench
    1 ruck onfield
    & 4 onfield forwards

My question is if any of the scores are lower than Cousins do I get his score?
If so do I have to put (E) on him?
    Comments appreciated.

  10. The emergency loophole still works across the byes despite best 18 am I correct? e.g. I have Stewart on field with Berry as E, do I get Berry’s score or the 0. Cheers

  11. Jack Steele?

After tonight’s effort F6 keeper or time to upgrade?

    T/u Give him another chance

    T/d Time to GO

    1. He had a 5 round average of 96.4 before coming into this game. Reassess in a few weeks when your team is complete. Has 4/5 of his next games back at Etihad where he’s averaging 92.5.

Look to bench him if possible in 3 weeks when he comes back to Perth. He really doesn’t like travelling far!

  12. TU – Taranto – Cousins, M/Bank – Docherty
TD – Myers – Cousins, Taranto – Ainsworth (Bank Some $$ for Doch next week and get a RD 13 player in)

  13. If you had a ‘complete’ midfield, without Rockliff or Selwood, would you consider trading Fyfe or Sloane to get one of them?

Tossing up between Docherty this week, and Selwood for Sloane/Fyfe next week, or Rockliff this week and Docherty next week.

Or could just grab Docherty this week and miss out on Rockliff and Selwood altogether.

    Thoughts?

  14. Should my third trade be a straight swap of Rough to Lynch GCS?

    Up – go for it!
Dn – save the trade and get Buddy/Green later in season

  15. Was going to hold Harbrow, but with a number of low scores already – Steele, Otten, G’wood and Cousins, Hardwick still to come, considering trading him to Hibberd to get at least 20 on the field.

Final sanctions still also not disclosed as far as I’m aware so worse case 1 week could be more. 14 trades left.

T/u – yup circumstances have changed after first 2 games, good call.

T/d – save it. Don’t be trigger happy.

    1. They said he’d know his sanction “by the weekend”. Well it’s Saturday lunchtime and we the SC public still don’t know. Grrr…..

    2. I’ve gone against the majority vote for a change….main issue was around uncertainty when he would be back in the side. Hopefully doesn’t end up in tears

  16. Can anyone confirm if Ainsworth in or out this week? The Teams Rd12 page has him listed as Emergency but the AFL website has him listed as being on the interchange bench

  17. Thinking

    Vickers-Willis/ SSelwood
    > Hibberd/ Wines

    TU Wines/ Hibberd great value

TD Save trades to early on SSelwood?

      1. Awesome. Barring injury or suspension, I’ll have 17 premiums playing next week, so things are looking good.
