  1. Last midfield spot – Sloane or Treloar, concerned that Crows might have a tougher run home to the finals than the Pies??

    T/U – Sloane
    T/D – Treloar

    Thanks guys

  2. Hey cobbas,

Scared Gawn will be out for a few weeks.
    Don’t have any ruck coverage.

TU – ROB to Grundy (always been the plan for this week) and cop a zero.
TD – Gawn to Grundy at R1 and trade Gawn back in later when he’s cheap.

Only have 5 trades left. Have a full promo side already minus Logue at d6

    Cheers!

  3. Upgrade replacement for Daniel:

    T/U: Boak
    T/D: Marshall

Keep expecting Boak to drop off but it hasn’t happened yet…

  4. Need to bring in a midfielder to avoid a 0. Having a dreadful season.
Bewley/Baker -> Mitch Duncan as POD
    Bewley/Baker -> Sloane – Safe option
    Or is there someone else?

  5. Looking to sell one of the following. Who has better job security (thus is better to keep):

    TU Begley, $245k, BE 17
    TD Bewley, $214k, BE 18

    1. Didn’t think it would be this one sided. Can someone please tell me why Bewley? Even though they’ve both been dropped, I would’ve thought Bewley would be most likely to get a recall in the future and thus be worth keeping a bit longer.

        1. Thank you very much Shaun, they were both listed as emergency on the app last time I checked, hence the question. Thanks again.

  6. Ok I have 9 trades left so I’m Looking at going.

    Andrews to Hurn
    Parker to Chol

Cool is pure cash generation so in 2 to 3 weeks time I can bring in Whitfield.

  7. GAWN OWNERS

Just a thought bubble for those who are right in the hunt for overall and have 8+ trades left and are willing to use two to cover it:

Wait til the last minute on Sunday. If he doesn’t make it, trade him to Stefan MARTIN who is in red hot form, has a BE of just 33 and is up against GWS and a makeshift Flynn/Dawson this week. Could go big. If Gawn is back next week, you’ll want to trade back as he faces WBD and you know what that means!!?!

For those of us mere mortals, I think Clarke is the best option (should make a little cash at least) or Lycett as a future F6 if you have the FWD cover for a week and Bines. As a Lycett owner, I’m leaving him FWD and with 7 trades left am considering Clarke. MAYBE!

      1. I hear ya GD, but Clarke as a permanent R3 might not be the worst move, if you have the likes of Gardner and Hayes as permanent back-half loopholes?!
No need for Bines anymore! Either/both may get injured/rested between now and the end. Insurance, albeit expensive, may not be the worst move?! ^^

  8. Looking to trade in my last mid premium with my midfield looking like (Macrae, Kelly, Fyfe, Cripps, Neale, Oliver and Sloane):

TU) Setterfield & O. Baker –> 102k mid rookie & Cunnington (44k bank & Hind would have to cover for Cripps at M8)
TD) Baker & Bewley –> 102k mid rookie & Treloar (13k bank & Setterfield would have to cover for Cripps at M8)

Thoughts and Suggestions on other Mid Premos around 540k would be greatly appreciated 🙂

  9. TU: Young to Chol, Scott to Z Clarke (via Setterfield and Bines DPP). Leaves me with $178k in the bank, 5 trades and 2 upgrades left to do (def and mid), and I can trade out Clarke once fattened and swing Bines back.

TD: cop the zero and save the trades.

    Current team (7 trades, $151k):-
DEF: Hurn, Lloyd, Laird, Williams, Ryan, Logue (Naish, Gardner)
MID: Macrae, Jelly, Cripps, Fyfe, Neale, Cogs, Crouch, Hind (Clarke, Bewley, Scott)
    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Bines)
FOR: Danger, Dunkley, Walters, Boak, Kelly, Heeney (Setterfield, Young)

  10. I have a full team with 6 trades left, do i trade Cripps out for josh kelly or wait and hope? I have Hately or Clarke as coverage.

    6

    6
    1. Probably wait. Unless you’re in the top1000 and think you’re a real chance for overall, the trade is simply too valuable.

  11. I’m 1 premo shy in my forward line.
Also not confident in Gawn playing this week.

T/U: Trade Setterfield to Rowan. DPP with Bines so he can be my 2nd ruck. Luckily Corbett is playing so he can be my F6.
T/D: Hope Gawn plays, if not take the donut. Trade Setterfield for Boak

    Thanks SC Community!

      1. Sorry. the site wouldn’t let me edit for some reason.

I meant Scott Lycett, NOT Rowan Marshall.

  12. Need to cash in a rookie (not necessarily this week) to facilitate the trade to Whitfield in a few weeks.

    TU: M.Parker to Chol (F7) this week (R.Young is @ F8)
TD: Hately or D.Clarke to K.Dunkley in two weeks

Have FOMO with regard to Chol!

    Many thanks!

    1. Depending on how many trades you have, you might be better going Young to Chol and keeping Parker. He seems to have excellent JS, so could be great back up later on should things go sideways 😉

      1. Thanks AS!
Yes, ideally I’d like to keep Parker for his JS. The Young to Chol trade unfortunately doesn’t give me the cash I need later to get Whitfield and trades are getting a little tight.
Chol’s JS? Who knows, right? Like anyone, he needs to keep playing well.
My take – Chol has taken Balta’s Fwd/Ruc role and Riewoldt is due back probably next week. But coming off a PCL injury, surely they won’t risk Riewoldt playing back up Ruck? Same with Lynch? Soldo makes way for Nank when he is fit so is Balta the competition for Chol’s spot? Your thoughts?

  13. Gawn still named in updated squads.

    T/U: he’ll still be a late out
T/D: trust him as your R2

    17

    7
  14. So who do we think will be a better choice to the end of the year :

T/U – Mundy – will play finals, but ageing
T/D – Heeney – may not make it to finals and has a dodgy ankle requiring surgery …

    4

    10
  15. TU – Begley & Baker to Z.Clarke & Sloane
TD – Begley & Baker to Lycett & Chol. Means I’m sacrificing my M8 to be a FWD premo

    4

    3
      1. I’d go Cunnington. All other options have to share points with more team-mates every week. He only has Goldy and Ziebell to contend with!

  16. Any chance Dangerfield could be a late out?

    T/U: he trained, he’ll play
    T/D: yep, still too sore

    12

    2
  17. Planning on having Clarke on the field, how can I loophole to Hately (currently on bench) if Clarke has a poor score?

    0

    1
    1. Clarke has an earlier game, so leave him on the bench as an EMERGENCY, and put Hately on the field.

If Clarke scores well, and you want to use his score, replace Hately (who’s on the field) with someone not playing (0). This will loophole and give you Clarke’s score.

If he doesn’t score well on Saturday, leave Hately on the field and wait for his score on Sunday.

  18. 3 trades left, still 1 non-premo in my team (Dylan Clarke).

    Should I:
T/U: Trade out Gawn, only to bring him back later, wasting 2 trades.
T/D: Cop the “0” from Max

    2

    22
  19. Current FWDs: Dangerfield, Boak, Kelly, Daniel, Gray, Moore (Corbett, Young)

70k in bank, 7 trades left

    Thinking of either:
T/U Daniel to Marshall (leaves me with 33k)
T/D Daniel to Heeney (Frees up some much needed cash)

Comment: Hold the trade, because Corbett is playing

    2
  20. TU: Bewley/Hore for Bont/Chol (Zero in DEF with Burgess in D6 this week but complete MID and FWD)
    TD: Bewley/Hore for Chol/Stewart

    1

    6
  21. Avoided the Gawn/Daniel injuries, but still have Brayshaw & Hore on field with 7 trades:

    TU – Brayshaw to M.Crouch
TD – Young to Chol, Brayshaw to Sloane

Comment – Hore to Chol, Brayshaw to Kelly
