  1. Narrowed it down to 4 options for a Sicily replacement (he’s stuck in the forward line). Who should I get?

    T/U: T. Hawkins

    T/D: T. Greene

    1. Brayshaw scores btw 60 & 130 with injury risk included
Hurley scores btw 90 & 110 & should play out the season reliably
      depends on your setup ..

  2. Is it worth using an extra trade to gain an extra 60 points over the rest of the year and to add a M/F swing?

    T/U – Yes
    T/D – No

        1. 60 points total?
Doubtful that would be sufficient because that is probably only 1-week of a premo versus rookie, if one of your guys goes down. If you still had 4 trades after, I’d go for it but you’re cutting it fine as it is.

  3. Do we all think JPK and Gray will play? Already trading Sicily for Laird (don’t ask)
and covering Hibberd (please don’t ask)with Emg looping Rice or J Smith.

  4. Still torn between Bellchambers/Lloyd or Martin/Brayshaw for Nic Nac/Sicily. The coaches voted option 2 on another thread.

    Bellchambers – last 4 average = 97.5, last 7 average 102.7 –
    Lloyd – last 4 and last 10 average 123.75 & 123.55

    Martin – last 4 average 115.5 & last 10 average 111.7
    Brayshaw – last 4 average 109.25 & last 8 average 102.6

The last 4 weeks dual averages are pretty much the same. If Bellchambers ignites then he and Lloyd are the pick I think. Lloyd is expensive but who cares for 125 ppg which on average you know you are going to get. But Martin, together with Brayshaw playing midfield from now on are probably the slightly safer option though !! Decisions Decisions !! Even typing this out helps, so it’s no guts no glory, hello Belly & Lloyd. Thanks for listening ya’ll !!

  5. I am thinking of holding Sicily this week and waiting for Mccrae to drop in price, need him to drop 30K to pick him up next week.

What would Mccrae have to score in R18 to drop 30K given his BE of 175 this week, If he dropped the 30K what would his new BE be for R19. Hoping someone can provide/do the maths for me
    thanks

    1. I think it’s unlikely as he’d have to score mid-80s to drop that much cash. If he scores his average (127 for the year), he’ll drop about 15k (to 570k).

As for his BE I’m not entirely sure how to calculate it – there was a couple comments earlier in the year that described how to do it so maybe someone else could chime in.

    1. I have Walters and very worried about mid time. I’d go Franklin I think but I don’t have him. Billings in my F7 and good loophole but not sure you can rely.

  6. Hinkley says Robbie Gray is good to go on Sunday ,
players never give great scores after a concussion ,
if he isn’t a late out , he will play Fwd ,
don’t expect a big score & certainly don’t put the VC or C on him ,
loophole player @ best this week I recon , if he plays at all ..

      1. He did miss a week though Chillo.

I can’t remember a player (this year) missing the rest of a match with a head knock and playing the next week. let alone playing well.

        I guess we shall see.

        1. Yep, fair point. Surely Port wouldnโ€™t take any chances if he was not 100% though….would they? Ken?

  7. Murray.

Macrea projected to Score 113 and drop 28K

He would have to score under 107 to drop the $30K+

  8. With the trades I’ve made and all rookies playing with no loophole I need to bench a premo fwd unfortunatley.

    Who to Bench:
    TU: Gray
    TD: McDonald
    Comment: Mundy

    Thanks all!

  9. Should I buy MacRae (BE of 176) who’s up against the WCE tagger Hutchings, or wait a week for him to drop in value and play Ahearne this week? (It would be to replace Sicily)

TU make the trade, take the points
TD wait a week (perhaps two) til he’s cheaper

  10. decided to hold Sicily this week & just play Ahern in his place ,
just trading Nic Nat out ,
    trades too valuable ,
better to run with a sub now rather than a 0 in finals..

  11. Only 3 trades left, with Sicily still in my team.
    Thumbs Up: Trade him
Thumbs down: Keep the trade, Start Ahern

  12. I know I’m going to get some T/D for this but…

My left field cheaper option for Sicily in defence is playing for a form team and no longer seems to cop the tag..

    $433.300
    BE 60.
    Only 0.6% ownership.
    5 round ave of 97.8

    Guessed yet?

  13. Two trades left, playing for league. Three teams at the top, all tied on 52 points, Iโ€™m first based on percentage.

I have full premos, except backline. Now that Sicily is injured, I wonโ€™t be able to finish with a full premo backline.

My competition this week has Sicily and Gray like me, and I would knock him over 17/18 times. Thereโ€™s a slight chance he could fluke a win.

I have second place next week, who I am marginally better than.

I have Mirra, Sicily, Mihocek and Murphy in my backline that I can make moves with, and only $10k in the kitty.

    Do I:

TU โ€“ Mirra and Sicily for LLoyd and a rookie this week (finish with Murphy/Mihocek as my D6)
TD โ€“ Mirra and Sicily for Webster (and depending on prices) a fallen premo like Seedsman / Shaw next week.

    Thoughts?

    OR

    1. i heard it very early in the week, so just presumed he’d be ok by the weekend. Anyone know what it is? not that I own him ๐Ÿ˜‰

  16. FWD line:
Had the E on Moore last night. Scored a disappointing 58. I have Gray on field and Guelfi on the bench. Do I:
TU: put Guelfi on field for Gray. Gray wonโ€™t play and Guelfi will score more than 58. If Gray does play he might not even score 58 post-concussion, or
TD: leave Gray on field. If he plays heโ€™ll do better than 58. If heโ€™s a late out, just cop the 58 from Moore.

  17. Am liking Taranto and Greene back seems to have freed him up a little up FWD = more pts. Personally am gonna wait for a couple of weeks for Greene himself (among others, eg Acres, who should be back next week if he goes ok in the VFL this week and has a relatively high BE to content with first game back).
The longer I can put off trades the better (only 2 left). Have managed three weeks so far ๐Ÿ˜‰

  18. Have Battle as E with Ahern on bench. If Gray is a late out I will probably get Battles score given it was low.
TU: Swap Ahern on field for Gray
TD: take a chance that Gray will play

  19. Trengove our for Magpies..May be a late in for Gray..

TU: LRyan> Trengove bia Spargo swing forward.. Nic Nat > Martin
