  1. Hey Guys

I have docerty and simpkin who i am keen to upgrade, but to do this i have to do both trades before tonight’s game, should I
trade them for the best i can afford – probably rich and walters TU or
keep simpkin and loop with Dunkley (GWS Rookie) save the trades for future carnage TD

    going for league win

  2. TU Burn 2 trades enabling me to loophole Simpkin/Riccardi score and get in Ridley for Docherty.
TD Play Simpkin, get Houston for Docherty and keep a trade in case a player is not selected.

  3. I’ve got one trade left. Riccardi has just been named so I won’t have a donut which is good.

TU: keep the trade for any emergency outs

TD: trade riccardi for someone in the 300k range

  4. Thoughts on Blicavs as a left field replacement for Doch.

    Since playing in the ruck he has scored 125, 90, 127, 99, 102, 101, 84, 118 and 134.

Undermanned Sydney ruck outfit awaits him this week.

    T/U: Good move
    T/D: Stick to Rich

  5. I’m ruined !!!! Made my worst SC blunder ever last night. Had one trade left for Doch and was contemplating Rich. In mucking around with my teams, I also looked at trading Aarts instead and bringing Williams B on the ground.
Sure enough, left Williams on the ground and Doch on bench. Can now only trade him for any of Stewart, Haynes, Ridley, Lloyd, or Saad. Tovey is d8.
To make it worse, Hurn was my other choice and I think Telly had his lowest score for the year.
There is one way around this. I have O’Connor (f/d) on the fwd bench, and arts on field. I’m not sure Aarts stays with Edwards due back.
So….Lukosius or Dawson for Doch…..both are f/d. Then swap O’connor for Dawson or Lukosius, and bench Aarts. Was always going to be one uber premo short after McGrath got hurt.
Love to hear any other ideas but if there aren’t any…….

    T/U Dawson
    T/D Lukosius
Happy yo hear any other ideas.

    1. I did notice that Williams was on the field last night during the game Wighty. Thought it was because you must have been looking at trading out Aarts instead of doing your Doc to Rich move you had mentioned in the trades remaining poll.

FWIW if I was in your position Id be going Dawson provided he gets named.

How much coin have you got in the bank before the trade?

      1. The Aarts move was def a consideration but I hadn’t decided on it….no choice now. Bank is $20k pre Doch but it depends more on who has f/d dpp now and that comes down to Dawson or Lukosius. And by putting Williams on field, I at least get a fwd emerg. Aarts predicted 63 so Williams’ 50 not so bad, and hopefully whoever I decide on goes big. Lukosius seems the fave on here at least.

        1. Wighty.

This is very left field but I’ve gone Parfitt.( Last week) mainly due to, I like him this week v the Swans.

It seems to be the consensus that The Cats will rest / rotate most of the Midfielders forward this week. This should leave a most of the heavy lifting to guys like Parfitt.

Best of luck whatever you decide.

          1. FT, the trade has to be done by 7.40 and it as to be for a f/d to allow the swing fwd via O’Connor, so the choices are only Dawson or Lukosius with the cash available.
            Tks for your help anyway.

      2. Fark…..now I screwed up the c loop. Took the v off Gawn at the last minute in a strategic Hail Mary move, and put the v on Neale and c remained on Tovey. Oppt matched the Neale move just before the bounce so I moved the v to LLoyd….but he plays in same game as Tovey !!! Only realised that after the Neale game started. Now I have to decide between a straight choice between LLoyd and Macrae as there are no ther loops available. I’m screwed as oppt managed to get the Docherty/Rich move right…bring on 2021 !!

        1. Wighty its just not your round mate. Ive looked at both your posts and seen both of these mistakes. Was going to message you this morning to say your loop into Macrae couldnt work and you could only do Titch into either Lloyd or Macrae as your remaining loop is in the Swans game.

  6. Who to trade Docherty to (only have $452k to work with):

    T/up – Zac Williams

    T/down – Daniel Rich

Comment – Anyone else (Simpson, etc.)

    11
  7. TU: Take Perez 74

TD: Trade Docherty to Williams or Rich only have 450 odd k to spend and roll with either

    Projected 2614 with Perez

  8. I need some info to plan my loopholes.

Rivers at D6 with Gould and Ruscoe. Would like to put the E on Rivers incase he fails and Gould debuts, but worried if all 3 play that I won’t be able to take Rivers potential big (for a rookie) score.

Similarly, Schoenberg at M8 with Wicks, Close and Foot. Would like to put the E on Schoenberg and loophole with Wicks, but worried Foot gets called up and I won’t be able to take Schoenbergs potential big score.

    Thoughts/strategies/inside info?

  9. Hey STC,

Got one trade left and playing for league win.

TU: Back Greaves and save the trade in case another player misses (got no cover in the ruck or forward line)
TD: Trade Doch to to someone <450k (no money in the bank so cannot go more expensive)

    2

  10. Take Riccardi’s 76 and upgrade Doc to any prem def or risk playing W.Day and upgrade Schoenberg, which would mean not taking Riccardi’s 76.

  11. Howdy all, not a lot of love for Jayden Short as a Doc replacement. He’s been pretty consistent this year.

    TU: Short (Vs Crows)
    TD: Mills (Vs Cats)

    Cheers =)

  12. I’ve decided to take Perez’s 74, downgrade Docherty and upgrade Wicks to go full premo in the mids. Good move? If so, who do I go:

TU: Oliver Vs Bombers (demons HAVE to win)
TD: Macrae Vs Dockers (dogs also HAVE to win assuming melb win)

  13. Thanks all for the insightful reads throughout the year. Just need some swaying with my final move:

    TU Fyfe v Dogs
TD Boak v Pies (POD for both my gf’s)

  14. T/U – doc and shoenberg to laird and rookie
T/D – Doc and Dawson to Rich and Maynard

Comment – Doc and Neale to Maynard and Pendles (bias pick)

  15. Doc at D6. Rivers (69) on bench as E
Was planning on looping Coleman and Close in FWD

Opp has Daniel and Ryan is uniques in DEF

    TU: Doc to Daniel/Ryan/Maynard & loop Close/Coleman
TD: Doc to non playing rookie to take Rivers 69 and Close to Robbie Gray

    Cheers

  16. Hi all – a few grand finals on the line here:

TU: Bont & Jy Farrar (means I play Coleman F6)

    TD: Acres & Walters

    Cheers!

  17. Luckily i kept my 2 trades up my sleeve. Thinking Doc and Walters for Rich and Brayshaw (freo)
That’s pretty much using all my budget. Anyone see any better value??

    Cheers

A fair way left field but..I’ve gone Parfitt. I’m hoping he gets plenty of midfield time this week. I wouldn’t bet against the little master having a day out though.

Best of luck whatever you decide.

          1. Not a bad shout mate. Reason I’m struggling with it is I went Houli instead of Rich this week (not knowing Walters would miss) – will likely cost me my GF

  18. Should I :
TU Loop Petracca’s 130, take Reserve Darcy Parish’s 95 & leave out Taylor Adams
    or
TD No Loop. Keep Macrae as C ?
    Thanks

  19. SCT Draft League GF! I reckon I’m just about cooked, but let’s see what the crew think….

TU – The Bearded Burbler with a 271 point lead and Bontempelli, Brayshaw and Bailey Williams still to play
TD – The eternal underdogs with Hugh Greenwood, Dawson, Mundy and Rockliff (c) still to play

  20. 24 pts down in final. Opponent has the c on McRae who I was thinking to also captain. Now thinking maybe take Gawn’s 121 as McRae last 3 weeks hasn’t been too good. Good or bad idea

  21. 1 trade left and some cash in hand. Playing against the Bont C. Taking Gawns 121

    Mitch Duncan out

    TU Boak
    Td Treloar

Save trade incase no Grundy or a late out?

  22. Can someone confirm if there is an “influence” or “effectiveness” algorithm placed on players SC scores? I can’t seem to get my head around how players are scoring.
