Shouldnt hurt it too much. Remember that selwoods 79 against brisbane last year came in his first game back after a 4 match suspension so he was a bit rusty. In 2010 he absolutely smashed them in his 2 matchs with a 175 and 124…

With Pendles as my VC, I think I’ll hand the captaincy to Boomer, just in case.
This could either pay off.. Or cost me big time.
Boomer LOVES to beat up weaker sides, as seen with his 137 against GWS, and 155 against GCS last year. With that said, opposing sides know Boomer can be taken out of the game, a la last week…
Coming from this slightly biased North supporter, I don’t think he’ll have two bad weeks in a row. I remember a few years back when he got 11 against St Kilda, he burst onto the scene the following week with 176 ! Despite also having Swallow in my team (average form’s ruled him out), Boomer’s my man this week.

i have Swallow and he has done nothing but frustrate me!!!! i am a massive North fan, but he goes missing too easy and his presence isnt felt.. maybe struggling with capt. imo he isnt a natural born leader. i actually prefer Zieb’s over him.. but thats jus me. Sorry guys correct me if I’m wrong but don’t you have to have a non playing player on the field for this loophole to work, aren’t you potentially cutting yourself short points if you have a player on the bench say a Jmac who can score 70 – 80 points. It’s not like last year were you could put the C on a non playing bench player. I mean the score has to be close to 200′s

I went Stanton and Christensen. Was a tough choice, and went against my better judgement to make it happen…traded Carrazzo and Dylan Shiel. I know i’ve just lost about $150k in the process but with Ablett out and some critical league games coming up, I need to make up the points (2 of the next 3 teams i’m playing don’t have Ablett).
I think I should have went with Barlow and Dahlhaus though….
It’s done now. All I have to do is watch Chrisso pump out a fat 70 and neck myself!

Flew back into Sydney this morning after 2 magical weeks in Fiji, with no Internet access. So you can imagine how pleased I was seeing not 1 not 2 but 3 doughnuts last round, Gaz, Fyfe, Mummy and heater all band-aids. Officially out of overall running with my average dropping below 2150

-Heater should be back next round or worst case Rnd 7 after pulling his hammy a week ago. Keep him as he is half way recovered.
-Carrots is a defo trade as out for 6 to 8 weeks after doing collarbone
-GAZ is a keeper, could be out 1, 2 or 3 weeks. He is saying only 1 week.
-Mummy had infection and reaction to the injection, may miss this week but probably 50/50. (Don’t trade to 211 if u do trade as he also has doubt on him).
-Careful on your trading. No reverse trading after today’s partial lockout so maybe just don’t trade until friday when you know more.

hey guys, just confirming that my loophole will work.
so currently i have got pendlebury as my VC, and GAJ on the ground as the captain, with my emergency being wingard. so if pendlebury gets a score that is good, i will just keep my set up and wingard will take GAJ’s score, but if pendlebury’s score isn’t good, I can immediately switch my captain from GAJ to someone else, and as said before wingard will take GAJ’s score.
