  1. I did okayish, finished with 2106. Won 2/3 games, almost caused a massive upset in another but tippett lost me that game. Overall im fairly happy but many players failed to fire…will have a deeper look later in the week..right now im starting to proofread my 171 page report for tafe…fun night ahead!!

  2. 2134 which gave me a qualifying final win and two elimination final wins so I’m a happy chappy tonight. I’d like to thank Mr. Waters for his late withdrawal which gave me Roberton’s 95 and 2 out of 3 of my opponents a donut . . . I guess I should probably thank Mr. Roberton as well.

    1. Waters out and Strijk off the pine. There’s alot to be said for your emergency being from the same team as a few of the players from that line. A late withdrawal and they get extra responsibility and extra game time and therefore score higher. Something i am going to take with me into next season.

  3. Shattered… where has the form gone? The players that did the job all season have gone missing in recent weeks, Hodgey, Malceski, Gilbee, Ablett, Cooney, Pav, Chappy to name a few.
I am most disappointed in my decision to play Neon Leon thinking he might actually perform in a big game…
Thankfully I have the double chance to atone for my efforts!

  4. 2228…Quite amazed considering at one point i was floundering at 462/7. It looks like Natanui->Cox might be a good upgrade in the following weeks. Hopefully Sandilands is back as well.

Disappointed in Gilbee who hasn’t been the same since i traded him in and Pavlich who has lost his way in the past few weeks. Overall, a good outcome for me as I haven’t traded in the past few weeks [This paid with my average] hoping my team will gallop home. A good start.

->Go Ashley Smith who covered my with a fantastic 96

  5. I got a terrible 1926 but unbelievably won in all three of my leagues and I beat Sheedy by 1 POINT!!!

Can’t wait to get Goddard in this week. Not sure about my other trade, thinking of trading Pavlich or Jaensch for Macaffer or Schneider if I have enough money.

Let downs this week were: GAJ, Hodge, Eski, Maguire, Coons, Jamar, Pav and Hall. So as you can see I have some work to do with my trades this week.

  6. very happy, a solid 2170 with sandi out, eski scoring 35 and pav scoring 41. But very appy with my 2 trades for this week as they both scored beautifully and in the end got me ova the line. And won in all three leagues and have a week off this week, phew. ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. won all three games.
    2179
pav, gilbee, eski and hodge combined for about 200.but the rest of the team performed. so i am happy!!!!
Have a week of, so I will send my players off for a break and save my 2 remaining trades.

  8. 2163 which was good enough to beat Sheeds, who I played in both leagues. What are the odds?

ps. A very big thank you BS. Your advice on Strijk as a trade for $$$ has left me in very good stead. His coverage for Waters was very nice this week.

    1. His 117 points look so wasteful sitting on my backline bench, esp as gilbee, eski and hodges’ scores were all well below par (46, 35 & 62).

  9. 2271, first big score in a couple weeks. Won one qualifying and one elimination so all good. No injuries so my one trade should hold up for this week.

  10. won 2 leagues and draw in the 3rd…. so have a week off in all 3 leagues…. rest up boys this week…. need you all in round 21……

  11. 1 from 3 for The Ice. Not a good start to the campaign.

Bad capt choice, Eski, Pav, Coon & Hall went missing & others under performed.
It is still dam hard to know who to bring in as my team as most are A graders & look what happens if you loose faith(I didn’t) eg. ROK.

  12. Did i score a SCTalk high?? Anyone beat 2345?? I’ve been as low as 30,000th overall but i’m now in the top 4,000th and ruing my poor early season form. Waters out was a blessing with Strijk topping the ton. Haven’t traded for a while and will sit out this week and trade for the prelim’s. My concerns are with Pav, Hodge, Bartel and Malceski plus while Browny’s score was sensational his body ain’t and i hope now that Vossy’s men have avoided the spoon that they don’t shelve Brown Dog.

  13. Terrible week, so much duds (nicnat, hall, pav, gilbee etc…)

got 2 trades left wanna upgrade to upgrade a forward(in two weeks). Who is in the worst form out of:
    -pods, pav or hall?

  14. Won 2 or 3 leagues, but I lost the qualifying final in my $$ league – Shattered!
I lost by 75 points – about the exact difference between what I was expecting from Barry Hall and what he actually scored. 35 points Barry WTF!!

    0

  15. 2236 – my highest score since round 5! Alot of my unique picks finally fired. Now have a 2 week break in all 3 leagues.

  16. 2268 with a doughnut in my Ruck. extreamly happy to top score in all three of my comps two weeks in a row, and get a week off in two of the three… including the primary where it count$.

  17. 2346 and a whopping 702 point win over my boss!! He copped 3 donuts but still, I am very happy with my team. Traded in Broughton for Goodwin and Nick Riewoldt for Pods and was happy I kept ROK and Grundy (even thought they killed my beloved Hawks). Hodge and Hall were my only real stinkers, with Rockliff also having a relatively quiet day. So now I have the week off to watch the rest of the finalists wriggle their way into the prelims. Every other game played this week was decided by less than 50 points.

  18. A solid 2203 to take out the 1st qualifying final. Was a sweet victory by 300 points against a bloke who has been hanging it on me because i have been on top all year, he though i was on the slide. Well stick that up you jumper. I love winning.

    Big shout outs to
Dane Swan, welcome to my team, i’ve been expecting you.

Dylan Roberton who would have thought Waters being out would be so good.

Alan Didak me best trade in to my team all year, even though he plays for the Pies.

    Jono Brown about bloody time

Nicky Riewoldt i knew i put you back in for a reason.

    Not happy with

Pods i only kept you for round 22 at Kardinia Park you better do something.

Gilbee you last 3 weeks have been shite.

    Sandilands, please come back.

      1. Yeah i thought vs West Coast at KP surely he would do ok. In what will be the Grand Final. I am sure others may keep him for this reason especially if your opponent doesn’t have him.

        1. http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/99948/default.aspx

“James Podsiadly managed just 41 points against Collingwood on Saturday night, sending his value plunging to $276,000 from a high of $338,200 in round 12.

It capped a poor month for the Cats forward, who has averaged just 56.5 points a game since his last big outing against North Melbourne in round 14, when he plundered 120 points.

Most of his big scores have come at Skilled Stadium but the Cats only play once more at their local home ground, in round 22 against likely wooden spooner West Coast. There is every chance J-Pod won’t be in the side as Mark Thompson looks to settle his line-up for a tilt at a third flag in four years.”

That’s all for dream team but also applies to supercoach.

        2. What if Pods is dropped or injured for round 22?! What if you don’t even make it to the grand final?!
I was holding onto him, but I figured the scoring potential of Roo was too good to overlook, plus he was at his cheapest and Pods BE was so high his price was sure to plummet, and it has. Live for the now I say, not for 3 weeks time!

          1. From the AFL website today on James Podsiadly

  19. Managed a very nice 2,315 this week!! And won all 3 of my leagues.

Good to see Enright, Gilbert, Waite, RoK, Brown and Cox all getting good scores again.

My midfield is still disappointing me though – Gibbs, Cooney, Ablett and Selwood all down.

Very happy I picked Goddard as captain!

        1. Maxy, I’m serious…. if your getting a backman and don’t care about price, get Hodgey. I know he had a stinker last week, but play the averages and get Hodge. He and Goddard had been my two best and most consistent backs all year.

          0

          0
          1. Righto, that’s a comma after Goddard, not a full stop… My Bad! Though looks a few of us thought the same ๐Ÿ™‚ OK, with that in mind, my new answer is Choice 1 Fisher, choice 2 Kelly

  21. 1874, worst score this year. Hodge, Eski, Waters, Higgins, Hall, Kelly even Ablett need some serious talking to. Good news is I won every single match lucky lucky…….
