Motts’ Movers – Midfielders R10

by Motts on May 26, 2009

This week’s crop of midfielders. Would love to be looking at them myself but I’ve got a couple of issues named Higgins and Waite that I’ll be attending to front and back ahead of a big game against The Sleek Greek (no Sol, I’m not being racist).

  • Dane Swan ($512,100, 107.22) – looks to be through recent injury concerns with his 149 last week and for his average is pretty darn cheap.
  • Peter Burgoyne ($417,300, 89.71) – has posted 3 tons from 7 games this year but has mingled some shit scores in with them. A class act – worth a punt.
  • Beau Muston ($94,200, 135.00) – welcome to the big league, son.

Steer clear of:

  • Nick Stevens ($413,200, 86.71) – I’m not convinced his neck is as hardy as he’d have us all believe.
  • Daniel Rich ($334,100, 79.11) – Capped out.
  • Daniel Kerr ($380,600, 78.12) – Attracting the main tag at WC and from all appearances wishes he wasn’t there.

Like you i need to address the Higgins issue first .. then i can look at trading up and under performer.

I have Rich and Kerr, i’m starting to think your inspiration for this post is my team, and both are on the chopping block … Kerr is up first.

*chuckling* Sorry Duck. I swear I’m not looking at your team prior to posting these. In fact, soon after I posted the midfielders I read that “John Worsfold is confident Daniel Kerr’s demons have not returned despite frustration appearing to get the better of the star Eagle last week.” Hey, maybe he’ll get a TON of it this week…..

I have Rich too. I’m not saying get rid of him, I’m just saying don’t trade him in. His value isn’t going to go up much more from here.
