Motts Movers R10 – The Forwards

Written by Motts on June 4 2012

The real world will once again impact my ability to get the Movers posts out again this week so I’m going to rely on the SC nouse of the good readers of this site to help me out.

Lets start with the Forwards. Give me 1-3 Premiums, Midpricer, and Value Picks.

Footnote: The Don! did such a great job below I’ve moved his analysis into the post.

Premiums:

Buddy Franklin … $575,200 – Just a lazy 236 from him last week. Boosts his 3R average up to 136, with a BE of 30!

Paddy Dangerfield … $592,900 – Still never going to get him because he has always let me down! 174, 87 and 145 for his last 3 giving him a 3R average of 135 and a BE of 119!

Paul Chapman … $552,000 – 5 straight tons for the fiery, bald man! A nice 148 against the Giants. 3R average of 127 and a BE of 51!

Special mention to Stevie J, just got pipped by Chappy (3R ave. 125!)

Mid-Pricers:

Jack Riewoldt … $452,300 – Not quite a mid-pricer, but close enough. His last 2 have been promising, with a 127 in a win against Hawks, and a 187 in a win against the Saints … anyone see a pattern? 3R average of 125 with a BE of -47! Yep that is correct, -47!

Jack Watts … $460,900 – If you are willing to take a risk, it may pay off! Playing loose-man in the backline, Dustin Fletcher style! 150, 80 and 111 last 3 to give him a 3R average of 114 and a BE of 82!

Jay Schulz … $408,100 – A nice 127 after being subbed off in the last quarter. Last 3 have been 110, 96 and 127, all in wins. Another risky one… 3R average of 111 and a BE of 17!

Value Picks:

Dayne Zorko … $249,600 – Not quite a roookie now, but I will still chuck him in here. 3R ave of 95 with a BE of -38!!!

Aaron Black … $178,900 – Played 2, 85 and 41. Average of 63, with a BE of -21!

Jamie Elliot … $106,600 – Played 2 as well. First week started as sub, got a 6… next week a sly 106 against the Suns. Average of 57, with a BE of -51!

  4. I know this may sound stupid, but i was thinking, you could make a new team (like make a new team under a new email address) just for one of the bye rounds, like the perfect team just for a bye round and come first for the week… Anyone reckon its possible? I can see it happening it to be honest haha

  8. PA’s Smokey
Benjamin “Buttons” Griffiths — ($211,400, 55, 19) — This guy has one of the longest kicks going and if he stays injury-free his going to be a gun.

  9. Looking at Pav as a premium upgrade, appears to have hit the bottom of his price curve and a proven performer just need a downgrade target but pickings look a bit thin at the moment.
What’s everyones thoughts on Sexton as a rookie?
