  1. Premiums

Ryan O’Keefe ($563,600, 100.00, 96) – The older he gets, the better he gets. Arguably career best form. Ave of 134 in his last 3 and hasn’t dropped below 90 since round 10.

Patrick Dangerfield ($539,900, 111.29, 70) – Ultra consistent, and after a few 90’s recently, has hit the straps the last 2 scoring 138 and 133. Can go large and has Melbourne and Gold Coast last 2 rounds.

Cyril Rioli ($557,400, 102.29, 91) – Not cheap, but his price his high because of his great recent form. Ave of 122 last 3 rounds and has only dropped the ton once in his last 7 games. Can be inconsistent, but if you’re looking for a finals POD, he’s your man.

    Midpricers

Tom Hawkins ($467,400, 94.06, 21) – 135 last round and 139 previous to that. Good ability to pump out the odd big 1, but i don’t recommend him.

Jason Porplyzia ($459,400, 83.7, 85) – Didn’t crack the ton in 1 game up until round 14. But since then, has scored 4 tons in his last 5 games. Seems to be gaining more and more confidence, and also getting midfield time. Put him as your 7th fwd with confidence.

Clancee Pearce ($480,900, 89.47, 40) – Had a great start to the year, then dropped off for a while, but now starting to come good again at the pointy end of the year. 3 round ave of 127 and also has the handy Mid/Fwd DPP.

    Value Picks

Options are very slim… but if you desperately need a fwd downgrade option, here’s who there is:

    Levi Casboult ($113,200, 41, -11) – He’s on the bubble, and at least he’s getting a game.

Tom Couch ($94,700, 54, -48) – Watch the teams to see if he gets selected, it’s hard to tell if he’ll get another game or not. If he does, 94K Mid/Fwd DPP about to rise in price.

  4. Pav and Okeefe in absolute brilliant form. Think bringing in Okeefe for Goodes in Rd8 has been my best trade of the season. Okeefe has defnitely got me over the line the past few weeks as no one I have played has him!

Not really sure if bringing Goodsey back in at Rd16 has been so good….

  5. Thrillers:
Tom Hawkins ($467, 400, 94.06, 22) 135 on the weekend was fantastic, but his form has been a bit of a yoyo cycle this year. Not convinced yet that he was the best decision I could have made at the time. I really thought he would be tearing the comp apart by this time at a consistent rate. It was between him and Cloke to be traded the other day and I still think I did make the right decision getting Cloke out. Don’t let me down Tommy, keep pumping’ out the tons!!

Cyril Rioli ($557, 400, 102.3, 91) gotta wonder if he’ll still fire like this when Buddy comes back. When he’s on, he’s on, but we all know that. A 3 rd ave of 122 as previously stated by lachie, is hard to argue with though.

Patrick Dangerfield ($539, 900, 111.3, 70) 3 rd ave of 127. Glad I’ve ignored my hatred for the crows this year and got him in my technical team. Should probably have listed this guy first in the thrillers, he’s had an awesome year.

Nick Riewoldt ($460, 500, 108.2, 82) despite living it up with Brian Lake & Justin Koschitzke, making the footy field look like a few chapters into 50 shades of grey on the weekend… He..

Um I’m sorry I’ve completely lost my train of thought. Forgive me.
    One Thirty Six.
He scored 136 which is great.

    resuming transmission…

    Drillers:
Dayne Zorko (finally cracked the $500k mark at $501, 100, ave of 98.7 and climbing, breakeven of 103). How much did you pick this guy up for?? $113, 200 and $170k for both of my teams.. Very, very happy with him. 2012’s very own version of Daniel Rich and Mick Barlow.

Dayne Beams ($601, 600, 114.5, 109) BANG BANG raised his bat for the 11th ton for the season, after a little slow start he has been great. Another that has had some monster scores. None better than round nine (175). Expensive, though, because if it’s between him and GAJ I know who I’d chose in my midfield (Beams has DPP status).

Dayne (Matthew) Pavlich. May as well chuck him in the ‘Dayne Drillers’ he sure has found a purple patch this year. Yes, I went there #badpun -I have a couple of girlfriends who tell me ‘real men wear purple’ Yes, they’re Freo supporters. If he’s going to play as well as that, I don’t care who he plays for or the colours 😉

    Chillers:
Adam Goodes ($431, 700, 90.7, 125) Where are you ‘ole Goodsy? Was expecting a bargain but thinking I should have trusted my instincts early last year that he heading into his twighlight years, perhaps that was his final awesome year (?)

Jack Riewoldt ($468, 600, 87.1, 152). Has only scored 4 tons this year. Surprisingly bad form compared to how close the tiges have come to being an ok unit this year, so many close games.

BUDDY- *only* because we’re missing you out there. I reckon one more week and we’ll see him back out there, thank god.

That’s the best I can come up with, time poor myself this week.

  6. Rioli would be a good choice & given Hawthorns form I don’t think he will go missing. I’m not sure I could go past Beams to be honest so for those that don’t have him & can afford him I’d say get on board…
Another cheaper option would be D Martin, he scored 79 in the first quarter against the blues but was tagged & only finished with 103. Obviously with Richmond’s final race being all but over it could have a negative impact on his scores but I’d still back him in for 90+ over the next few weeks & don’t forget he’s a DPP

  7. Hey guys, just a question.
Who would be the best FWD to upgrade Mayne to? Already have Blair, Hale, Mayne and Zorko? Maximum spending money is 500k.
    Thanks
