I could spend a lot of time on this post or I could just tell you the only rucks I would consider having in my team as we head towards the finals. They are:
Dean Cox
Todd Goldstein
Jarryd Roughead
Nic Naitanui
Will Minson
Matthew Leuenberger
If you have anyone on the field in your Ruck position other than 2 of those 6 blokes, you’ll bleed Ruck points between now and the end of the year. Who do I have? Cox and Minson in the Ruck with Nic Nat in my Forward line.
The blokes who just miss out on this list are:
Ben McEvoy
Sam Jacobs
Zac Clarke
Matthew Kreuzer
Ivan Maric
None of them have shown enough consistency in the year to date that generates enough confidence for me to place them up top.
So what do you think? Have I got it wrong? Who would you change?

Played nicnat over the kreuse last weekend and lost my league game by 4 points. Ouchie…
Leuenberger really stitched me up with his quick recovery! I shipped him off right away, them BAM he was back and killing it.
Nic Nat not bad compensations, but it cost me a pretty penny.
I’m thinking Blicavs out this week (pat on the back to him) for Minson. Got Cox there already with Nicholls for back up.
Have S Rowe for the link, he may go for Nic Nat when he bottoms.
Does anyone else have Nicholls as R2?? Has allowed me to swing cox up Fwd and having Rowe R4 with handy dpp. Goldy is R1. At the moment it’s ok with Nicholls averaging almost 100 which is more than some premiums. Come finals I may ditch him but very happy with his output
I have been a bit overexcited this year with the Ruck/Fwd Dpp riches and shortage of reliable fwds and have ended up with Goldy and Nicholls in the Ruck, Blicavs and Rowe on the Ruck bench. Nicnat, Massive and Roughy have somehow ended up in my Fwd line. It wasnt in the plan at the start of the year thats for sure.
Going to upgrade Blicavs in the ruck this week and already have the West Coast duo and Nicholls and Gawn on the pine.
I know Minson and Goldy been excellent so far but will the be in the highest averaging ruckmen from this point on?

So.. going on this logic should I be looking to upgrade Maric in my current rock stocks?
I’ve got Goldy, Maric, Nicholls, Gawn (fortunately starting with Goldy/Maric kind of neutralised each other, only went Goldy over Mummy at the last second too).
This week I need to upgrade Macaffer and Reilly but I will have the trades and likely the opportunity to roll Maric over next week and I don’t have either of the West Coast duo.
Had Maric & cox from the start, can’t trade Maric now, I hate losing money
Cox and Luey – playing Cox forward to cover Stevie J’s suspension (via Rowe), so Nicolls is R2 at the moment, but next week it will be Cox, Luey and Nicolls back to R3
