Tough to find any value amongst this lot this week. First of all lets hand out the flogs:
Mitch Clark ($432,800, 50.33) – Narrowly avoideed getting named last week but when you only score 46 AND get reported and subsequently suspended for 2 weeks you’re pretty much a lock for the #1 spot in this section. Did I mention how relieved I am that I traded him out? Lost a lazy $65k last week.
Darren Jolly ($414,400, 39.00) – Gets another mention this week because he’s still expensive for a bloke with that kind of an average – even after he lost almost $79k last week. I’m sure he’ll come good when he eventually works out the Collingwood structure. As with share trading the trick will be picking when he bottoms out. You’d think he’d do better against Hawthorn this week.
And the polishes:
Aaron Sandilands ($543,200, 112.00) – He’s THE premier ruckman in the comp right now and I can’t wait to get my hands on him but for now I’m going to have to sit tight. Only went up $4k last week because his price factors in that kind of an average. Had a 108 against the Cats and his next three opponents are St Kilda, Richmond and West Coast.
Shane Mumford ($307,100, 75.67) – I struggled to find a second option here after some of the performances last week but given his price, the 83 he had against Richmond was a pretty good return. I know I gave advice last week about choosing back-up rucks and to be honest I would only be getting on Mummy if something drastic happened like my two onfield ruckmen went down in the same round. As I said, I struggled to find anyone else. Faces North, West Coast and Brisbane over the next three weeks.

I know he didnt play this week, and thus doesnt get the nod for R3, but Brad Ottens has a nice average to start the season with and is set to play a depleted Port ruck outfit at Skilled this week; Which should provide him with a very healthy price rise next week.
I hadnt really noticed it but ive done really well in the ruck department this year. I have had Sandilands, Ottens, Warnock and Lobbe (may play this week) from the start and I see a lot of other teams have had major headaches with the likes of Clark, Tippett, Jolly and co. My condolences.

What a shocker from Kruezer on the weekend. Traded Tippett out for him and he gets 40 odd! Good thing was that Tippett got less so got a couple of extra points from the trade. woo hoo . My rucks are absolutely killing me atm though!

Sticking with nic nat &hille did’nt cost much money & allowed me to spend money on quality mids.Can see more value in that approach all rucks have been a little disapointing.

I agree scratcher, I also have Hille and Nat who as long as they get over 50 each week Ill be happy as my midfield make up the difference with the likes of : ablett, j.selwood, Mitchell(surely has to have a big score soon) Gibbs, Cooney and Barlow
