Dayne Beams ($511,700, 95.40, 75) – Another player benefitting from more midfield time as a result of Luke Ball going down for the year.

Harley Bennell ($416,000, 88.83, 22) – Last 3 weeks: 96, 89, 141. Has only risen $44k for the year and is a M/F DPP.
Taylor Walker ($402,700, 89.17, 38) – The league’s other Flying Mullet. Only one score below 87 all year.
Justin Sherman ($397,800, 97.67, 32) – Has played 3 games this year for 84, 112 & 97. M/F DPP.
Matthew Wright ($394,700, 92, 49) – 86, 96, 94 in his first 3 games for the year. Oh and guess what? Another M/F DPP.
Value Picks
Taylor Adams ($136,600, 85, -87) – His BE is not a typo. He’s scored 80 and 90 in his first 2 games and against the Suns this week he might even crack the ton.
Charlie Dixon ($196,200, 82.50, -46) – You’re not going to pick him when Adams is $60k cheaper, averaging more, and a M/F DPP but I’ve gotta mention him anyway.
There were heaps that just missed the cut this week. Blokes like Paul Chapman, Matthew Pavlich and Mitch Robinson were all stiff not to get a look in. Who have you liked the look of lately?

Great write up Motts ..
Upon reflection most of the candidates for a Fyfe or D Smith trade in the forward line all went pretty well….
Beams, Sizzle,Sidey, Dangermouse,StevieJ,Pav,Mitch,Chappie, Goodes*,Lewis ok, Pearce, ….
Perhaps ROK and Chistensen the only ones a little disappointing….

Yep, Goodes is gone for 6 weeks. Trade him if you’ve got him. I’m one of the lucky one’s who dodged this bullet.

I’m still holding on to Mumford. Just had other more pressing issues like getting rid of Fyfe and covering donuts in other lines. Giles and Cox have been able to shoulder the ruck load during Mummy’s absence and am hoping he’ll be a massive POD upon his return.
I guess this will pose a few problems for those looking at getting both Horsely and Adams this week.

I went the 1-3 ruck strategy MJ so wore donuts conceding matches the first two weeks of Mummys absence ( had plenty more doughnuts and would not have won had I traded) than was going to do the same again this week hold for another week as my opponent had Krooz until late Friday….so I went to Roughy( which won me this weeks game) so he can become my F5 at some stage and possibly go Kennedy back to Mummy in a few weeks…..not ideal but cant keep losing…..
I read your comment below..I was going to pass on Adams( i have Treloar)…Make 50-60 k going to goodes chappy /sizzle and go Magner -Horsley with the thought of Shiel – Pendles next week….

Exactly what I’d be doing if I had Goodes. Take the possible points hit this week by going Goodes > Adams, Magner > Horsely, then perform an awesome double upgrade next week.

might go smedts out for horsely by moving trelor to the forwards….that way i can keep the likes of magner,shiel etc until they have completly made me all their cash….getting a little thin on trades this early in the season

Way too early on Smedts. He should still get plenty of games and keep slowly rising in price, especially when that 3 is out of his price cycle. I’d be moving on a player like Kennedy or Magner who are closer to topping out in price.
