Motts need help, i have hall and looing to upgrade i have 93k spare and i want JB. but i am about 8k short so i need to make 2 trades, i was thinking of down grading Gram (445k) to ethier C,Cornes, Carrazzo Kennelly or Birchall ? Any help would be great

It looks to me like Chornes has come good mate. Carrazz and Thadghghgh have capped out and Birchall hasn’t consistently put the big numbers together for me to comfortably recommend him yet.

While everyone else was posting huge scores last round, I seemed to have missed out. My second week in a row below 2000 – even with GAJ as Captain! To the list of donkeys above I would like to add Dal Santo and Bartel who just aren’t doing enough. I’ll stick with em cos they’re premiums but they have really disappointed.

I’m planning a midfield upgrade this week. I’m cashed up with over $550,000 in the bank and currently the mids look like this:
Ablett, Selwood, Gibbs, ROK, Barlow and Martin.
I’m going to keep Barlow for the time being – why wouldn’t you with a 110 average. But it’s time to upgrade Martin to a premium. I see a lot of value out there…. Bartel and Cross are two who appeal. I was thinking about NDS as he comes cheap, but the comments above are putting me off. Any thoughts??

Barts and Lenny look like they’ve bottomed out and are uber premiums. I’m also seriously considering Sammy Mitchell in the next few weeks once he has B/O as Sewell is now back to play the inside midfield role with Shiels. SM stats are spectacular over long period.

I reckon Bartel is the leading contender at the moment, though Mitchell is a very interesting option… especially as I’m a very one-eyed Hawk. He’ll be great value in a couple of weeks time if – he can get up and running.

Hey Motts (and whoever else wants to comment), just curious on ur thoughts on the following: I am considering making a double trade in order to get Buddy this week (Playing Richmond is to tempting to refuse).
I am looking to trade out Medhurst in the forward line but need about 3 grand more to afford Buddy.
I am contemplating the big risk of bringing in Rhys ‘Chicken’ Parma for Trengrove in the middle as ive liked what ive seen of Parma so far, and would like to think his scores of 80 odd would increase with the extention of is TOG (currently at around 60%).
What are ur thoughts on this?
P.S. I am not looking to downgrade for any rookies this stage as I have plenty in my team already and dont want passengers come the latter part of the season. I am looking at trading out trengrove as his 129 points from three weeks ago will no longer factor into his price hike.

At 307k Palmer is undervalued but i dont think he can be a premium/keeper. Buddy offers X-factor probably moreso if the hawks can find form/mojo, As long as u have trades up your sleeve, i’d say go for it. Just make sure both these guys get named this week.

Yeah, Thanks Pump. My thoughts are the same on Parma, but Ive been contemplating the Buddy trade for weeks. Im glad I didnt start the year with Buddy in tho, coz only playing 4 out of 7 games thus far hasnt been great.
I can see Trengrove getting better scores than he is now tho, and have been cursing Rob Murphy’s name for the past few weeks. Do you think im better off trading in Fyfe from Freo in for Murphy? Bulldogs have a very good run coming up and Murphy will surely turn his form around u would think tho.
This is going to be a make or break trade I fear.

I would’ve thought that you need to trade Brennan out this week. Kruezer will still score his 80-110 and you can trade him next week or the week after. I’m not sold on buddies consistency, but his last two weeks have great.
