Mottsy, I noticed that your talk with Ratts re; Robbie Warnock, didn’t have the desired effect.
Is it time to sack Ratten and bring in somebody who will play Warnock on a weekly basis?
If so, I would like to nominate the old Brisbane Bears coach who was ordered to continually pick W.Capper irrespective of how badly he played.

I’ve got Warnock sitting on my bench in SC too but from a Carlton perspective I’m loving Jacobs in the ruck right now – he’s doing a great job. Unfortunately for all of us, Ratts gets his bonusses paid on Carlton’s success. Not how may SC Coaches he makes happy.

Rioli to Higgins is a good trade.
Why trade Banner to Stevenson? It looks a sideways trade unless you don’t have the bench coverage to cover your mids. Is there money to be made on this trade?

Motts highly rates J-Russ. But it is definitely safer going with Corey or Heath. Of those 2, I’d take Enright.

Shannon Hurn also a beauty, and is more consistent than either Enright or Shaw. Hasn’t deviated outside the 90-110 range yet, and is SC gold.

Motts need an opinion here I am really struggling this week,
I have 13 trades left, and need to offload Drummond.
Drummond > Goddard is my intended move as I have $610 700 to spend.
Is it worth the extra trade this round to go:
Nason > Webberley/Roberton in order to allow for some cash in hand next week for another 2 trades (Medhurst > Podsiadly being 1, and then Martin > midfield premium) or am I using too many at this stage?
Is is just recommended to go the one trade this week for me?

MJ be wary of burning up trades. every week there seems to be must have bargains to tempt you. that will continue until round 22. your team looks pretty good as is. of course drummond needs to be replaced and i would consider DPP’s that can swap with Davis.

First of all, bench Medhurst – he’s out this week with a foot strain. Bring on Gumby.
Drummond->Goddard = good move. Approved.
Second trade: if the plan is to get Roberton then you can hold off a week – he’s not playing this week so his value is not going to change. If you like Webberley then get him now. Personally, I’d go Roberton because that buys you a week. And a lot can happen in a week (as all the people who traded Pods in on Monday can tell you).

Its a pretty competitive primary league I’m in MJ. We all stump up $50 at the beginning of the year to play so there are some reasonable pesos on the line at the end of the year. Many of the blokes I’m in that league with are often on this site: Grimmo, kb, Dobbo, Bobcat, and Duck to name 5. So I’m not too keen on revealing how many trades I’ve got left mate. Hope you understand. I reckon 12 remaining after this round will be fairly average though. I’ll poll it early next week.

No – Gram for Chornes could be a nightmare with the latter’s injury history. Sideways trade at best. If you want to get rid of BBBBH look at downgrading one of your cash cows.
