Right, so I’m a little late this week so this will again be short, sharp and to the point.
Backs I rikey
- L Hodge ($453,700, 83.75) – one game back and a 97 proves he’s good to go. Cheap at this price too.
- C Newman ($502,400, 101.55) – rarely scores under 100 and won’t chew through your hard earned.
- C Enright ($453,900, 92.18) – this recommendation is for you, Agers. I’d like to see more tons from him though.
Backs I no rikey
- A Carrazzo ($464,600, 59.67) – Great a couple of years ago but hasn’t yet done enough in ‘09 to justify that price tag.
- J Drummond ($498,700, 101.73) – last 2 rounds have been 3 and 81. Wait for those to impact his price over the next month (he’s out this week) and then pick him up.
- A McPhee ($397,800, 83.50) – hasn’t got the consistency to justify selecting him.
Mids to get on
- A Cooney ($447,000, 82.78) – hundreds over the last 2 weeks convince me he’s back. And cheap.
- M Murphy ($566,400, 115.09) – hasn’t had a bad score all year. One score under 100 and that was a 98. All class.
- S Mitchell ($512,400, 104.18) – cheap with a solid average – what more could you want?
Mids to get off
- D Pearce ($367,900, 76.00) – inconsistent and what’s more, plays for Port.
- R Griffen ($373,700, 78.18) – I’ve got him and f*ck I wish I didn’t. No other player on my team has frustrated me more than Griffen. One ton for the year and that was in R1. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
- B Cousins ($436,600, 80.20) – hasn’t played frequently enough for me to feel confident about his body yet and in the games he has played he hasn’t yet cracked triple digits.
Rucks to climb aboard
- M Clark ($450,300, 78.55) – 4 tons in the last 4 weeks. No more needs to be said.
- D Cox ($565,500, 117.18) – No more needs to be said.
Rucks to disembark
- M Blake ($276,300, 57.36) – Geelong underpays their rucks in order to cover the salaries of their midfielders.
- S King ($266,200, 49.44) – was outed for 4 weeks on Tuesday but even when he comes back pick someone else.
Forwards you can’t go past
- M Pavlich ($509,500, 100.64) – sure he’s playing the Cats this week but he’s dropped $83k and still averages 100. What’s wrong with that picture?
- B Fevola ($411,100, 88.64) – ok I’ve had him all year and I’m the first to admit this selection has its risks. But how many other players can you pick up worth a smidge over $400k that can score 160 on any given night?
- M Walters ($94,200, 76.00) – “who?” I hear you say. Michael Walters who played his first game for Freo last week. So technically you could leave him for another week. I’m just giviing you a headsup about him. Chances are he’ll get played a bit between now and the end of the season if Harvey opts for a youth policy.
Forwards its time to move on from
- J Ziebell ($316,800, 66.00) – capped out. Lost money for the first time last week.
- N Krakouer ($363,400, 84.22) – has lost money since R6, missed R11 and hasn’t been named this week.
- J Brennan ($456,000, 89.50) – magnificent game against the Blues but until he gets some consistency he will remain one of the most frustrating players in the league.
Good luck!

I find your “rikey” extremely offensive to those that struggle with the everday embarrassment of pronouncing the letter L…unless the scribe is Japanese, then I sincerely apologise for pointing this out and fucking your already embarrassing day up even further.

I find your lack of contribution to this site other than via witless comments in articles I spend a great deal of time on offensive, Jason. Let’s call it even shall we?

Cooney has been a solid performer for me and just keeps getting better.
You must have a crystal ball too mate, Jack Ziebell is well and truly out for me now, very disappointing indeed.
It’s going to be a long week waiting for the round to finalise, then it’s well and truly trade time.
