The AFL advises the Match Review of the remaining games from Saturday and Sunday of Round 14 have now been completed. The following charges have been laid.

Charges Laid:

Michael Walters, Fremantle has been charged with Headbutting Jay Lockhart, Melbourne, during the third quarter of the Round 14 match between Melbourne and Fremantle, played at the MCG on Saturday June 22.

In summary he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Intentional Conduct with Low Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a one-match sanction.

Jayden Hunt, Melbourne, has been charged with Wrestling Luke Ryan, Fremantle, during the third quarter of the Round 14 match between Melbourne and Fremantle, played at the MCG on Saturday June 22.

  1. Damn you walters…..thrown this week trade plans in the air. Be nice if the wceagles Cameron gets another game as can use his dpp. Can still go one up one dowm.

    1. I have 5 dpp in fwds and one in mids , danger, but there doesn’t seem to be many viable cheap m/f at the moment.
