Garner and Stewart approach the ball from opposite directions. Stewart takes possession of the ball and a clash of heads occurs. Contact between Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe and Richmond’s Tom Lynch in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s match was assessed. The ball is loose on the wing. Lynch and Fyfe approach the ball from opposite directions. Lynch taps the ball forward to a teammate. Fyfe makes high contact to Lynch. 1. Christian is a disgrace, not surprised the golden boys got off but I reckon durdin is hard done by, he’s not a superstar though.

  2. Christian makes some strange calls. Fyfe and Frawley very lucky, Durdin unlucky, actually think he made the right call on Ablett though.

  3. I’d like to know how many Collingwood players have been suspended since Christian took over the job. Of the many problems with the MRP, he is the biggest.

    1. Not to mention that it’s unusual for a major sporting code to only have ONE match review officer.

  5. Just watched both the Ablett and Fyfe replays on AFL360 – don’t often agree with the journos … but they both should have bee sat down for a week. Both deliberately raised the elbows – both are very lucky that the players hit got up / weren’t seriously injured …

LOve both Ablett and Fyfe, but seriously … they both deserved a week – Ablett even more so after a repeat of last week!

violence still alive & well in the AFL
& we wonder why the supporters are fighting in the crowd
