Already have GAJ, Pendles, Joelwood, Lenny, The Horse, Magnet & Adams…..so decided to downgrade Murph for Zorko which opens up the 2 DPP link in my mids and forwards which will be invaluable during the byes. Then traded Tomlinson for Rusty Bum. My mids are now a bit weak but rookies are all playing and earning and projected Rd 9 score is 2452….all is good.

If I had him, would of gone to Dal Santo. Makes you 20k and will rise over next couple weeks. If it wasn’t so late in the year for his return, Murphy would be pretty hard to resist.

After several trades & reverse button hitting with Murphy’s injury….
I’ve ended up swaping Deledio in from my defence to the mids & picked up H Shaw in defence, that seemed the best suit for my cash left & bye rounds.
My midfield now reads Pendles, Boyd, J Selwood, Ablett, Deledio, Magner
( J McDonald & D Shiel ) on the bench still fatting up.

Is a Zorko -A Kennedy downgrade worth the waste of a trade???????
I will only make 120k. Or is it worth sticking with A Kennedy a little longer saving the trade and downgrading with someone else a little later on…. Is Zorko a must have??

I swapped murph for deledio and then got int heath shaw down back. Helps with the byes coming up too (Rich,carl,stk) all have byes rd 13 (or deledio,scotland,goddard)

Not seeing why there’s soooo much love for NDS. Scores of 148, 112, 117, 87, 110, 46, 101, 107 aren’t the scores of a must have midfielder. While he’s a proven elite midfielder he’s a slightly speculative selection. Isn’t he?

I think he is a relative must have RB. He will probably average 110-115k by season’s end, so $481k for that average is a good pick up to have as your M6.
That said, I won’t be getting him for strategic reasons.
I do think though that his scoring has/will be affected by Hayes this year.

Many jumped on Lenny as a cheap option when he was under $500K and he has returned – 87 118 124 104 130 87 107 97.
NDS scores – 148 112 117 87 110 46 101 107.
NDS probably will not be in the top 6 mids but he will around the top 10. Saints do not have a bad draw either. At 480K NDS is more of a bargain than Hayes IMO and hard to go past for M6.

Will not miss a game either. Consistent. May not be an ultra elite premo but consistent and always sees a lot of the footy. Doesn’t give away too many stupid frees, and can set up some important plays therefore constant good scores. Other premo’s can score huge one week and low the next. Plus he is dirt cheap ATM. If people wanted to eventually get him, now was the best time.

I thinking of bringing in Bryce Gibbs as he is VERY cheap due to poor form in defense and i believe he will be moved back into the midfield where he belongs!! because of Murph going down. i’m gonna see where he plays and how he does this week and then i’ll make my decision

Quite simple, Ollie. He’s a fallen premium and you can now get him $165,200 cheaper than at the start of the season. Also a lot people have Murphy and with the Saints and the Blues sharing the R13 bye, NDS is a great option for them structure wise.

Jobe more consistent. No real risk (except maybe injury). Will be up ther with the best by season’s end.
Stanton less consistent. Risky as he could drop all of a sudden like last year. Will either be up in the top 5 or drop off by season’s end.
= depends what you want. If you have a solid team at the moment, with a few trades up your sleeve, why not take the risk?!

I had NDS from the start, along with trading in Murph and Swan in the last couple of weeks the biggest mistakes of my year. That said, sub $500K for someone who was in the top four or so overall sc scorers last year? Bargain……
