  1. Le Cras looked the goods. Into the side as he was a standout in a bad WCE side against the pies. Worked hard and kicked straight.

  2. Vlastin, Goods, Mitchell, Varcoe locked.
Would have liked to have seen play: Knights, Viney, Lonergan, , Pittard, Lee, McCaffer, Daniher.
Just outside but banging down the door: Zorko, Buddy, Wines
    Question marks: Moloney

  3. Crouch or Wines?

I like the security of Wines but not the price, hence why Crouch is in atm but I am concerned that the green vest and a strong midfield will impact his scores … dilemma!!

    Thumbs UP – Moloney
    Thumbs DOWN – LeCras

  6. Vlastuin definitely a lock as well as Kane mitchell now looking to take Crouch’s spot on the bench. Did like the look of Kommer as well, think he may sneak in and take Daveys spot at the Bombers.

FYI – still ONE spot left in SCtalk league StooperCoach (code 999964)

  7. I’d be keeping LeCras AND Moloney. This year is the year of midfield rookies. The rookies in other parts of the ground are pretty weak (Goodes, Colquihoun, Stevenson exceptions). Plus, of course, McCaffer.

You should aim to have three premiums in the midfield, one mid-price and six rookies IMO. This will leave you bucket loads of cash to spend on FWD and BAC options. Sure, others may win well initially in the first 4-5 weeks with there star-studded midfields, but once those midfield rookies rise, those carefully thought-out teams will have an extra $1-2 million to spend.

  8. Brand New Locks…….K. Mitchell, N. Vlastuin, B. Goodes, T. Rockliff, D. Zorko, D. Currie.

Nearly New Locks…….D. Terlich, J. Neade.

It’s not really hard to figure out who the locks would be(Ablett, O’Meara, ect)

It would have been good to see Daniher, Cotchin, Lee, Pittard, Viney, Daw, Jack, Mumford, Van Unen, Sloane, Selwood, Macaffer.

I Liked……Colquhoun, Franklin, Kommer, Wines, Lecras, Robinson, Murphy, Duffield, Mundy, de Boer, Hartlett, Pendles, Shaw, Priddis, Shuey, Gaff..

I Didn’t Like……Goldstein, O’ Meara, Ablett, Walker, Bellchambers, Fyfe, Watson.

That’s basically how I saw round 2 of the NAB cup. 🙂

  9. Goldstein is a massive worry for me. What’s everyone else think?
    Also,
    Is lecras worth the risk?

  10. Goldstein will have a long summer and Ablett and co also have the NAB off as its a nothing comp for the premiums .They jog around for a kick or 2 and thats that. Wait until the last game before the real season starts and see what happens re prems etc .
I am not a fan of Lecras . We can all have the same tactics and it really comes down to luck.

  11. I reckon Gaff and Hanneberry are going to explode.
Rethinking my whole strategy to fit these guys in.

  13. Not sure if all watched the game but did anyone notice the (I think number 39 could have been 33) western bulldogs player Jason Johassian think that is how you spell it. Very good on the weekend he really caught my eye, just they way he played young kid was not in the least scared ran the ball continually out of the back line. Whether he gets a gig or not I am not sure, but if I was the coach he would. Come round 1 I will be checking if his name comes up in the doggies team.
