  1. Buddy is out, probably rested or a precaution. While on Buddy … should he be in my team? I know that he is brilliant and the #1 forward in the comp but it worries me that he does not play a whole season. Last year he played 16 games, 2011 19 and 2010 only 17 games.

Is it worth having Buddy who may only play 16 games or better to go with a gun with a slightly lower average who is likely to play every game?

  2. I currently have him in my team but think I may drop him for Roughhead. That’ll give me Cox, Roughhead, Zorko, LeCras, Varcoe and Brynes

  3. With 30 trades you can carry someone like Buddy who does struggle to play every season. If it looks like he’s out for a couple and you don’t have adequate coverage sideways swap with one of your extra trades that you should set aside for such events.

  4. you can all drop lance because you dont like the look of him PRE-season. when he comes out firing like he does each and every year youll all be frantically trying to get him in and i will laugh.

  6. Thoughts on Viney and Danniher? Will they get enough games to pick them?

I always struggle to pick the right FWD rookies. Think I’m going to spend a bit extra with picks like Maccaffer and Varcoe

  7. We may all have to spend a little more on fwd rookies ARC. No sign of Joe D, Mayes and Stringer is down also. Getting thin but I am sure options will eventuate.

  8. Geez Mottsy, If only your Walker could kick like their Walker eh? Yarran impressed tonight. Crouch played his way back onto my bench too. First good quality game of the NAB. Finally feels like footy is back :D.

  9. One match up and two names scratched.

Murphy being kept quiet by Wright with a tagging role.

Thanks for coming guys and while your effort was appreciated we won’t be offering you a spot on the list for the 2013 campaign.

  11. Eighteen began, now there are two
Those who wear the Old Dark Navy Blue
    are daring to dream,
of victory brought by Mick and his team.

But mighty wind blows from the north
A prideful roar shakes the earth
The Lions are coming, a wizard in their ranks
    So here’s the cup, thanks?

    Alas, we wait another week
For the answers to the questions we seek
Are Brisbane and Carlton on the way up
And which of the two will win the NAB cup?

  13. One week of preseason to go and I still have big questions marks over Byrnes, Knights, Varcoe, Pittard & Mitchell (low scores this week) just to name a few. Throw in Zorko and Dusty with modest scores and I have much to think about.
