I think I’ve included every possible player you could sensibly give the C to this week. If not, let me know in Comments.

Do yourselves a favour and have a look at Simonez’s post at 1205am this morning on the Too Serious site (Rd 6 teams blog) on a transcript from the Adelaide match committe selection meeting. It is pure GOLD.
BTW rumour doing the rounds that GIA is out with a rib injury.

  3. NOOOOOO Ablett out is a disaster for me. This throws me out big time now. Martin, Shuey, Gram, Lobbe, Warnock, Rockliff, Hitchcock and now ablett all out ๐Ÿ™

  4. Ablett, Mitchell, Martin, Shuey and Banner all out in the guts for me. And playing a team that doesn’t have ablett, *raises white flag*

  5. Getting rid of Dangerfield. Who should I get Judd or Montagna?

Plus who sould be my Captain? O’Keefe, Selwood, Swan, Goddard, Hodge, Montagna/Judd, or I’m even considering Barlow?

  6. No! No cover on my bench (Shuey, Moles). Hope neither of my rucks drop out, no cover there either. Missing Danger (traded) Shuey, Moles, Peterson, Warnock, Lobbe, Trengrove (Port) who has been sitting on the pine not scoring all season, and GAJ. ๐Ÿ™

Glad I’m not up against one of the top teams, but still a bit worried. Now, Goddard or Pav??

  7. hey motts, watts.
seems like there’s plenty of trouble for many a coach. i nearly feel guilty for having emergencies in every position (bar ruck – warnock) and 19 trades up my sleeve (roo). but all experienced supercoaches know that, at some stage of the year, your team gets decimated. better to happen round 6-7 than in rounds 19-20 and go out in straight sets after finishing top 4. so you can all relax, cop a few donuts, save your trades, wait till your cash cows are fully matured and enjoy the pies smashing the blues on the weekend.

  8. Gone with Bartel as my Captain. Even without GAJ, half the Cats’ side should score triple figures – Jimmy being near the top of that list.

    (Surely that’s my hat-trick, PA?)

  9. With GAJ out I’ve given Pav the nod this week. He loves the western derby, averaging 124 points over the last 4.

    1. Why, cos half of us ( Fools ) don’t have him in their sides at the moment and where waiting for he’s price to drop, doesn’t look like that’s going to happen for a while.

    1. Was offered it but knocked it back mate. He didn’t have any of the Carlton Crew in there and I can’t manage a side without any of my boys in it.

      1. I upgraded Martin, Bastinac & some dollars to Judd & JKT. Judd will increase in value and there is no reason to think that he wont offer value for the rest of the year. After GAJ’s injury, Judd may become captain. I want him to play well in a losing side. Hopefully JKT & Trengove can increase their value so I can trade for Montagna in about 4-6 weeks.

        1. If ANY more of my mids, rucks or forwards don’t play this week (Gia included) I am offering up a doughnut.

    1. LOL! Do u have Goddard? He scored over 150 twice last year against the dogs, everagin 128 over his career against them .He seems the best option if you have him…

      1. I have Goddard, Hodge, ROK and Judd as potential captains, I am not sure which way I’ll go. Goddard is a good option and your info may tip the balance in his favour. Cheers ( :
