Trade Talk R11

Written by Motts on 1:58 pm, May 30 2011

I know you’re all already planning your trades this week. Mzungu on the bubble and Matera with a 96 BE makes my decision pretty easy this week. I’m guessing Harris’ 31 on the weekend will make some of your decisions pretty easy too. Who else are you considering bringing in/shipping off?

Punting R10

Afternoon Punters

Motts is scaling it back and has just whacked a multi this week on mostly straight out wins. That’s right, I’m dropping the risk in the search of a win. The whole thing pays $6.21, tell me what you think.

Motts Movers R9 – The Forwards

Thrillers

Lance Franklin ($533,100, 146, 118.75, 93) – I’m starting to think Buddy is THE must-have forward in 2011.  He’s averaging 4.3 a game for Christ’s sake! The Buddy Show continued last weekend against the Swans for a lazy 6.6 return. Doesn’t have his next bye til R17 so you’re going to get plenty of points out of him between now and then. Of course, that’s if he doesn’t get rubbed out for something silly. Interestingly, he’s had two 146’s and a 147.

Matthew Pavlich ($511,800, 119, 115.25, 118) – Should change his name to Matthew Tonvich coz he will score you 100 week in,

Motts Movers R9 – The Rucks

Thrillers

Dean Cox ($513,200, 149, 126.25, 95) – Is it getting boring yet? Massive has been named in virtually every MM Thrillers section this year. How can I overlook him though with scores like 149? He’s rolling like a young buck again and has increased $85k in price since the beginning of the year. Next 5 opponents before his second bye: Collingwood, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Port Adelaide, and Carlton.

Aaron Sandilands ($554,000, 113, 121.25, 152) – Just missed his BE and consequently will now have to work his butt off when he comes back in a month to maintain his massive price.
