Droopy v Stevie J. Couple of key position forwards with favourable SC finals runs who can break a game open. If you were upgrading your last Forward this week and had to choose between these two blokes, which one would you grab?
Petrie v Johnson

Don’t really like either of them at their respective prices. I’d be more inclined to trade in Dangerfield or Sidebottom at similar prices. Nick Riewoldt and Adam Goodes probably have similar potential as Drew Petrie and Steve Johnson for $50k less.

Both Dangerfield and Sidebottom have *only* averaged in the 90s for the last 5 weeks, MJ. You’re not thinking that they may be a bit worn out?

Valid point Motts. The younger boys may be slowing down a tad, but just rate Dangerfield and Sidebottom’s consistency over Johnson and Petrie, who can go missing in games on occassion.
Sub 80 games this season
Dangerfield: 0
Sidebottom: 3
Petrie: 7
Johnson: 7
Also think Geelong’s draw is a terrible one, only facing 1 team outside the top 8 from here til the end of the season.

Which is why I chose Petrie. But you’ve given me food for thought.

Lets remember that Dangerfield was sure to slow down as this is he’s 1st season as an on baller, on top of that he’s only 21….possibly will build the tank to be a consistent premium on baller in years to come.
As for Sidey, one who has made the very most of opportunity initially through injuries at the Pies, has also stood up amazingly this year for his virgin year as a genuine on baller. I’m now going to be selfish, I have them both in SC & here’s a big COME ON to both of them hitting their straps again & pumping out a few more 100+ games!
I think it was enevitable that both these players would taper off as the season progressed as building a tank to be a premium on baller for a full season is a long long process!

Gotta go Stevie j. I have him and I put him in my team as a game breaker and hasn’t let me down

Stevie J almost full-time midfield last week (as promised earlier in the year) and smashed out a lazy 148. Best bet for mine.

Stevie j had a slow start to the year and dropped in price. I got him in and he has be awesome ever since! He spent time in the midfield against the pies too.

Tough one Motts.
If I had to have one I reckon it would be Petrie.
The way the Roos are traveling at the moment and the fact that their draw is much better than that of the Cats.
