Pendels walking the tan with a bandage on his calf during the week is some what of a worry for me . Will he play ? Should I put him as VC ? . Will he play but be hampered ? Time will tell I guess

Well there is no risk selecting a pie or bombers player as vc. Nothing to lose so might as well stick it on the only player I have playing, pendles. A wet cold day ahead. I reckon low sc scoring.

There’s no such thing as low SC scoring. Every single game is normalised so that the total scores from both teams add up to ~3300.

As a Bomber Supporter lookin forward too watchin the game. It should be a tough hard fought out match both teams with injury concerns both teams 4 days to recover. IMO collywobbles should be a little bit fresher as there game against port didnt look as fierce as the Bombers if my Bombers are too get up i think we need to be leading by a few goals by 3/4 time.
As far as Supercoach goes ive got Pendles,Clarke and Shaw (injured). Hopin pendles and Clarke score well but also hopin for a mighty Bombers Win.

Hurley would have been the difference if he played however with so many youngsters in the pies line up I think essendon will win by a couple of goals.

There is no doubt Yio that we had a harder game than the pies but there is still a bit of high end talent missing from the pies line up from an engine room perspective. Ball, Daisy, Heater are all good ball movers and are missing from the side. With the weather being what it is I am hoping that the tall forwards of Cloke and Dawes will struggle and our mid sized fwds (Crammers, Gus etc) can pull one out of the hat and do me proud. Either way we all just want a cracking game and a close result.

hey guys, just confirming that my loophole will work.
so currently i have got pendlebury as my VC, and GAJ on the ground as the captain, with my emergency being wingard. so if pendlebury gets a score that is good, i will just keep my set up and wingard will take GAJ’s score, but if pendlebury’s score isn’t good, I can immediately switch my captain from GAJ to someone else, and as said before wingard will take GAJ’s score.

A football game spans 2 and 1/2 hours with thousands of moments comprising each game but there were two moments in the last couple of minutes that stood out to me.
1) Why would Jobe take the advantage when he was under immense pressure from a Collingwood player? Really cost the Bombers as they could’ve had an inside 50 to a one on one rather than bombing long in hope.
2) Why would Leroy Jetta try and keep the ball in Wayne Hares style. A throw in to the top of the goal square would have been a better avenue to goal.
Think the game is passing Jolly by. Far too many silly free kicks.
Anyone with Dane Swan as VC would be loving life right now.

had sidebottom and pendles play, got 244 and will most likely use pendles as captain from the loophole, making it 384, pretty good start to the week
I’ve got a question though that I need some help with….
my plan last week was not do any trades, then wait till this week and trade out ledger, but with the way last round was with so many injuries I had to use up 2 trades last week, so is it worth burning another trade to bring in Treloar or Old Mac for ledger? I’ve used up 6 trades already
(2 for spuds, 2 for injuries, 2 to fine tune my rookies) I didn’t want to trade last week but had to.

Collingwood played all over Essendon and should have won by more…. Luck played a part in the end but collingwood still a top 4 side while Essendon might be lucky enough to finish 7 or 8.
I traded Stanton in this morning but am now convinced he is a flat track bully. He and Watson went missing for huge chunks of the game today…

Agree with Simmo on this one! All of the key indicators went collingwoods way, with no essendon players having an absolute blinder like swan/pendles! Also, lost hibberd early on in a wet game makes it more difficult. Cant wait for this game next year dons!

In all honesty barnburners, Essendon were very ordinary today. Error riddled for the most part and were playing in collingwoods fwd 50 for 10+ minutes at a time. Collingwood were pushing hard forward and got caught on the rebound more that they would have liked, hence the score, but in all was a great game score wise, but very average as a game of AFL footy. But that’s what happens playing two games in four days, or three in 10 days.

Im so cut, but im proud of my boys, expect the the decisions made in the last minute or so, should have had the draw in the bag, a win wasn’t that out of reach either, as said above crucial mistakes at a crucial time from Watson and Jetta. However positives are our 2 premos mids played shit and swanny had 42 touches and 3 goals, but we still only lost by a point.
