PlayON – Beat Motts Rd3

Written by Schwarzwalder on April 7 2018

Our friends at PlayON have continued on with the great initiative for the Round of Matches after Easter.  The CEO of SuperCoachTalk & all-round good-guy, Motts, has entered another team for the games on Saturday (starting at 1.45pm AEST!!) with a view to having a massive form turn-around.    For those who don’t know, Motts finished last in the Inaugural Beat Motts competition and everyone received their money back.

As with last weeks competition, there is a $5 entry fee.  The Top 50% of entrants will win a share of the Prize Pool or get your money back if you can ‘Beat Motts’.  So here it is……your chance to finally take on the Man, the Myth, the Legend……..once again 😉  This weeks competition looks at the games between PTA vs BRL, MEL vs NTH, GCS vs FRE, SYD vs GWS & STK vs ADE.

I’m here to help you Beat Motts with the following tips…………

Geelong has its newly formed ‘Holy Trinity’ in Dangerfield, Selwood & Ablett (Dangerwoodlett) …….My Holy Trinity for the Fantasy Game on Saturday consists of Holman, Finlayson & Doedee (Hollaydee) 😉  These are three of the best rookies going around at the minute.  Scoring just as well as the ‘superstars’, these three will lay a good foundation for the day and allow you to load up on the big-names elsewhere.  Holman (GCS, MID, $5.8M), Finlayson (GWS, DEF, $6.7M) & Doedee (ADE, DEF, $6.6M) are gifts to all Coaches that need to be used.

Now that we’ve sorted out the ‘cheap seats’, we can afford a few more superstars.  The first of which has to be Clayton Oliver (MEL, MID, $15.6M) who is averaging 119 Fantasy Pts after two weeks of play.  He had another day out against Brisbane last week where he collected 35 disposals and eight tackles.  Can’t see anyone from North Melbourne slowing him down on Saturday.  Ollie Wines (PTA, MID, $15.2M) is the other one to keep an eye on.  He played a pivotal role in the Power’s win against the Swans last week.  Helping himself to 35 touches, six tackles and a goal, Wines was everywhere.  Hard to see him having a quiet one against Brisbane this week.

Wishing you the best of luck against Motts!  Thanks again to PlayON for setting up these showdowns!  Get your teams in before 1.45pm AEST on Saturday afternoon………

  1. I think you’re a great sport Motts, for entering a load of old rubbish, so we all at least get our cash back 😉
